Dinagat

A town once part of Surigao del Norte that was caught in between the changing decisions of the Supreme Court, Dinagat is one of the seven municipalities of the Dinagat Islands, part of the the Caraga Region in Mindanao. A lot smaller than the rest of the island province’s municipalities, the town of Dinagat is a treasure trove waiting to be opened and explored by local and foreign tourists alike.

The soft, white sand and the crystal clear waters of the island of Cab-ilan are a testament to the unspoiled and pristine beauty of Dinagat. White sand beaches are a common sight in the Dinagat Islands but those who are in search for one that is less known and more secluded will find Cab-ilan a perfect, quiet piece of paradise they can have to themselves.

The twelve barangays of Dinagat town, among which are Wadas, Cabayawan, and Justiniana Edera are waiting to be explored by those who plan to venture this way.
