Doljo

In a town blessed with coastal attractions, Doljo is one barangay you just have to visit while in the Visayas. Doljo is a relatively small barangay in the town of Panglao in the province of Bohol. If you think that Bohol is just rolling hills and old churches, think again!

This town is graced with a beach, a marine reserve, and several other resorts. It tells a story that Bohol isn’t just about dry attractions, it’s home to wet ones, too!

The Doljo Beach is basically a stretch of white powdery sand. Not too far from the beach is the Doljo House Reef where thousands of fishes zip through the hundreds of coral varieties found there. So, after a little frolicking at the beach, why not dive in and see the reef for yourself? You won’t have a hard time finding it either. With its clear waters, the corals simply stand out!

But, if you’re up for diving, go to the Doljo Point Dive Site. If you’d rather see bigger and more exotic marine life, just put on your gear and submerge yourself into the deep blue sea! And don’t forget Dory’s mantra, “just keep swimming!”
