Tucked in between several towns and cities, Manaoag in Pangasinan is one of the municipalities that is worth visiting. In the north it is bounded by Pozorrubio, Urdaneta City and Mapandan in the south, Laoac in the east, and San Jacinto in the west.
Considered to be one of the larger municipalities in the province, Manaoag is home to almost 70,000 people. Its most famous building is the Church of Our Lady of Manaoag, which contains the ivory statue of Mary which was completed in the 17th century. Its title in Spanish translates to Nuestra Señora del Rosario de Manaoag.
Many Marian devotees from all over Luzon travel to Pangasinan to visit the church.
