Matnog

Matnog, Sorsogon has stretches of fine white sand and beautiful crystal blue waters that make you just want to cry. You don’t even have to go that far if you’re coming from Metro Manila. Just take a bus bound to Matnog in Alabang! Easy-peasy. And not too pricey either.

When you step on the soft sand and dip into the beautiful water, the long bus ride will be worth it. Of course, you can opt to take an island hopping tour around the island (highly recommended). And do visit the Juag Fish Sanctuary where you can swim with the fishes (free of charge!). The waters are absolutely pristine but be sure to contribute and help it stay this way!

Aside from beach-bumming, swimming, snorkeling, diving, and taking pictures, you can also explore the Calintaan Cave, where it is unspoiled and ideal for adventure-seekers. Really, what more can you ask for from an island? Subic Beach is also the perfect place to stay if you’re on a mission to bum around and get a tan.

Matnog, Sorsogon is the place to be if you want to explore more beaches in the Philippines.
