Noveleta

Legend has it, a long time ago, when the Spanish colonizers still ruled the lands of the Philippines, a desperate old man, betrothed her young maiden daughter to a Spanish officer. Devastated by this news and terribly horrified by this betrayal, the young maiden named Violeta, committed suicide. Upon seeing her cold, lifeless body, the over saddened officer cried out, “Madre de dios! No violeta! Oh no, Violeta!” This was engraved on the collective memory of the townsfolk and that’s where Noveleta was birthed from.

This urban municipality is now home to a modest 54,000 people. The town now holds itself together by putting up businesses in different industries like agriculture, poultry and livestock-raising, and fishery. This small town has a booming and developing economy and is now slowly incorporating itself to Metro Manila.

Noveleta, by the way, is already part of Manila’s expansion since Metro Manila is continuously and vigorously expanding its reaches to more of Luzon.

Come and take a peek at what this town has to offer! They have establishments and attractions that prove to be a worthwhile visit! This includes the Old Town Hall which was built in the late 1800’s and also Holy Cross Parish Church where devotees can hear mass and pray.
