SM City Cebu

Owned by SM Prime Holdings and opened in November 1993, SM City Cebu is the Cebuano’s go-to mall, as it is the largest one in the city with over 500 stores and service centers. It can be found in the North Reclamation area of Metro Cebu, near the Cebu International Port and along Central Nautical Highway. The shopping mall itself is a complex of seven floors with a department store, food court, a bowling center, and eight cinemas. SM City Cebu expanded and opened its Northwing in 2007, which provided more shops, restaurants, and parking space. An IMAX cinema similar to the one found in Metro Manila’s SM Mall of Asia was also built in 2009. In 2015 Henry Sy announced that the shopping mall’s Northwing would be further expanded, with additional parking space to accommodate the growing number of mall goers.
