It is home to many natural attractions including Lake Apo, a crater lake which was awarded the cleanest inland body of water back in the late 1990’s. It’s hard to find one of those in the Philippines nowadays. It has a beautiful backdrop of rolling hills, lush greenery, and clear blue skies. It’s simply gorgeous and it encapsulates the beauty of provincial life.
Aside from that, the city is also home to the Kasanayan Cave. To all the adventure-lovers heading to Valencia, this cave is worth exploring. The cave also has a river in it, with several interesting stalagmite formations. It’s ideal for pictures and of course, swimming. With 400 meters worth of cave to explore, how can you not get excited?
Although Valencia City is small, it aims to be the primary producer of organic rice in the Philippines. The plan is to help make the Philippines more self-sustainable.
