Remington Hotel

Hotel

My officemates and I decided to try Remington Hotel for a night. We badly needed a place to stay overnight before our flight to Cebu the next morning. Talk about convenience, Remington Hotel's just barely a "kembot" away from NAIA Terminal 3.

We availed two Standard rooms through their website for only 1188 per head. (Note that you have to be a Resorts World Manila member to be able to avail this promo. RWM membership is free, just register online). Hassle-free booking is love! We attempted to try their free shuttle service from Ortigas to Newport City and we were surprised that their shuttle is just a van. Too bad.

Anyway, moving forward to our checkin in Remington Hotel, it was easy breezy!! Like, no sweat at all. The standard room can accommodate 4 persons. It has two queen size beds. The room has no fridge, nor a cabinet. The bathroom is really small and the shower area is then practically tight, for me. There's a lot to improve with their facilities, but this is definitely a wonderful experience for me and my friends. The place is really strategic, the New Port mall and airport are just a few blocks away. From our room, I can see both. The price and convenience make Remington Hotel a winner! I would definitely go back!

Nolita

Pizza

Pizza is definitely my thing! For an affordable price, you'll get a big slice of pizza which I must say satisfied my really big appetite. I love how at first my friends assumed Nolita's way to pricey for our really shallow pockets. Then, they're wrong. Hehe. We definitely had a nice and cozy afternoon bonding. Each of us ordered a pizza with a..hmm.. A chilled chocolate drink (I forgot the name of the drink). We walked out of Nolita with happy tummies and still with shallow pockets. Hoping to come back soon! :)

Caramel frappe forever! I love Starbucks Shangrila! There's always plenty of seats for their customers. As always, great service from the SB peepz. I can stay here for hours and hours, read a book or take a nap. Hahaha!

World Chicken Cafe

If you're looking for the best and juiciest chicken to dine, then this is not the place for you!! But if you're hungry and looking for an affordable meal that will suffice your 3-day hunger, then World Chicken is the place for you. There's likely a thousand chicken sauce-sides combination we can do here. Hahaha. My typical meal, chicken with bbq sauce, that spicy pasta (pamoro?) and (japanese) rice! Hunger solved!

More branches please! Though, Shangri-la Plaza branch is opening pretty soon. Bought a dozen cupcakes today. Six of those red velvets! I'm not sure if I like the Caramel Iced Latte, add a doubt if I'll ever order it again. Overall, two thumbs up!

Delicious cakes! But a little bit on the pricey side. I won't order that baked rice melt again, for sure! Nakakasawa :)) will try the champorado next time, hehe. And by the way, the tapa looks and tastes good. Will definitely go back for the cakes!
