CocoHut Fried Chicken & Fish

5.0 Stars
Filipino

First time I entered coco hut, I knew I was going to order their crispy fish fillet, and it did not disappoint. I've been having it for the last 3 times I was there. :)
The squash that goes with it compliments the dish very well and that's coming from me who doesn't eat squash (and most vegetables except for Laing which they also serve and is really good too!)

My second time to eat here though first time on this branch. I still ordered the same ramen (posted pic) the deluxe tampopo black pig shabu ramen. My dad ordered the pork loin katsu and I must say, their katsu is waaaaay better than yabu. He even raved about the miso soup that came with the set, it's the first time I heard something good about miso!
Can't wait to try their other dishes! 128515128077128077128077

Browhaus

Eyebrow Service

My first time to try browhaus, I find it a bit expensive though, 598 pesos for eye brow threading when it's normally around 200+ on some salons.
Good thing they're running a promo right now, 50% off for services! The service was good and the stylist was good too. I don't think this will be the last time I'll visit. 128515

Nuat Thai

Massage Parlor

I've always been on a look out for inexpensive, closer to home massage places. Was so glad that Nuat Thai is open on Sundays and was close to UECP which I can say was close to where I live. Yey!
I've been thinking of trying it out for quite some time but have not found the time to do so. Since it was still early, I decided to give it a go, I had the Swedish massage which is currently 50pesos off (350 pesos for 1 hour).
The experience started with a warm feet wash and then I was led to a small room for the massage. The masseuse was gentle yet firm which was exactly what I wanted in a massage.
Overall, the experience was good and I can't wait to try out their other services. 128077

Early Bird Breakfast Club

Breakfast

This is my second time here at early bird and it still has that "wow factor". I wanted to try everything on the menu so even if I wanted to order the tenderloin tapa again, I had to stop myself and try the glazed katcino instead.
I know for sure that I will love it simply because it's Tocino (chicken) cooked the katsu way. Both my favorites in one dish! The Tocino was tender and flavorful with a crispy sweet breading, truly a taste of heaven with every bite.
I also tried their bacon twist which you can dip in honey. This is also good, you really can't go wrong with bacon.
I will truly be back for their other menu. 128077128077128077 oh and their head chef is really a dear too! 128525

IHOP Restaurant

Breakfast

Had to wait for 2 hours just to be seated, food was JUST OK and a bit over priced. Menu was quite extensive but disappointingly limited as most of the food on their menu was unavailable.
I'd prolly give it another try but I'd wait til they open another branch or til the curiosity dies down.

Spa-La-La

Day Spa

I've always love nail spas, the usual mani-pedi with extra pampering is always a welcome treat. So when I heard of a new nail spa that just opened, I just had to go and try it out.
Spa-la-la looks a bit out of place in its neighborhood of school supplies, market and coffee shops but never judge the place by its exteriors. The services were priced just right and from now til feb 28, it's 20% off! They also serve nespresso coffee or iced tea. :)
One lil thing though, chairs weren't as comfy as they should be but that's the only thing I didn't like. Overall, I liked the service, they offer a good variety of nail polish - Opi, orly, Essie, Jessica and for an additional fee, Chanel. :)

Cibo

Cibo has always been a favorite, so when we saw the tarp at lucky Chinatown - yes, Chinatown! We were overjoyed! It took a while before it actually opened... But it was worth the wait!
I highly recommend spinacci zola for anti pasti, I always go for either gamberetti or roar beef panini. Then wash it off with an order of tiramisu. And don't forget to order iced tea or grape shake!! :)
