The holiday season is the perfect excuse to give in to cravings as most coffee chains bring back their seasonal drinks. Got to try Costa's festive food and drinks via a #LoolooRendezvoos last week:

They have 6 drinks. 3 are served hot - The Golden Hazelnut Hot Chocolate, Salted Pistachio Mocha and Billionaire's Hot Chocolate. My favorite was the Salted Pistachio Mocha, as I looove pistachio and it's the only coffee-based drink among the three. There are also 3 frostinos or their version of an ice-blended drink - The Candy Cane Frostino, the Salted Pistachio Mocha Frostino and the Golden Hazelnut Frostino. The Candy Cane Frostino was a little too sweet for me, but for people who love sweet drinks, this one is perfect for you.

For the food items, my favorite was their Purple Glazed Cake. An ube sponge cake layered with just the right amount of yema. I also liked the Cheesecake Yule Bar. Although their Candy Cane Cake definitely screamed Christmas for me, I think there was too much buttercream but it would definitely be a good pair with an iced americano. They also have a Merry Choco-Mint Cake and Ginger Bread Cookies.

Overall, their festive drinks and food are a must-try especially if you have a sweet tooth. They are available until the 1st week of January and I'll definitely squeeze in a quick coffee break on their 2nd floor with a Salted Pistachio Mocha paired with a slice of the Purple Glazed Cake. 10084️

(PS: I think I overused the word 'sweet' in this review. Sorry.)

I have been wanting to visit this beautiful cafe perfectly hidden in the middle of Metro Manila for the longest time. I'm a sucker for places with good food, great coffee and amazing interiors. Luckily, I was invited by the Looloo Team for a Rendezvoos at lunchtime last week!

The place can accommodate up to 70 guests at max. It's floral interiors make it the perfect location for your next tita/tito brunch date. Janna of Flossom mentioned that they can also host parties and events. She said that the glasshouse is at 20k consumable for 4 hours. (The venue for your team Christmas party, maybe?)

My top 3 are the first ones in the photo set: (1) Mushroom Truffle Risotto with Norwegian Salmon Fillet - Heavenly! Definitely something I'd order again. (2) Daddy's Homemade Sisig - with lots of rice please! (3) Custard Fritters. Their Truffle Lechon Pasta comes in close at fourth but I wasn't able to take a photo.

First to be served was their Trashcan Nachos - corn tortillas topped with chili beef, corned beef, pico de gallo, cheese, onion cream and cilantro! Good for sharing up to 4 people.

The Ultimate English Breakfast was very overwhelming at first but I think I can probably finish this for breakfast to cure a hangover. With 2 pcs of thick pancakes, smoked gourmet ham, bacon, mushrooms, baked beans, sunnyside-up eggs, potato wedges, grilled tomatoes and baguette, I think it can be shared up to 3-4 persons!

Other things that I liked were the Truffle Egg Croissant, the Baked Meatloaf and the Cheeseburger Bolognese.

The ube champorado and the ube cake were okay. I would prefer a little more ube flavor for both. I usually drink my coffee black but I decided to try the Coco Caramel Latte, which was a little too sweet. But if you like your coffee sweet then maybe this is a good match for you. 9749️

Overall, Flossom Kitchen + Cafe is a place I'd definitely go back to for brunch dates and order the risotto or their pasta dishes. 128522

Thanks again to the guys and girls of Looloo and Flossom. 128588🏻

I rarely visit QC or any place up North but for good coffee, I am willing to wake up at 7am to catch the 9am P2P to Katipunan!

Ordered Ella's Waffle for breakfast and it was good! We also got to try some coffee roasted by Plainsight - Costa Rica Amapola and their Ethiopia Yirgacheffe brewed in 2 ways, V60 and Aeropress. (That's 4 cups of coffee, but I shared it with my friends!) I preferred the Yirgacheffe via V60 as it was smoother, but if you like your coffee with a little more body, get it via Aeropress! 9749️ It has hints of citrus and a little nutty.

They also have metal straws, Keep Cups and Frank Green cups! Planning to visit this place again soon. 10084️

I ordered their Spareribs Noodles (P145) again this time with their Wintermelon Juice (P55) which was a little too sweet for me. Spareribs were tender and flavorful! As I am writing this review, I am suddenly missing their porkchop! 🤤

Overall, good food and very fast service. The food arrived less than 5 minutes after we ordered! 128077🏻

Visited Tagaytay last weekend for a #LoolooRendezvoos at Sartin! Located at Summit Ridge Tagaytay, this new concept from the people that brought you Fat Daddy's & Josiah's Catering focuses on 3 Filipino cuisines from places close to their hearts - Pampanga, Bacolod and Quezon.

Started off with some tomato jam and liver pate with their delicious pandesal! The Chicken Chicharon with was good as well. They also served Longganisa Baos and 2 kinds of isaw.

Then the KBL (Kadyos, Baboy at Langka) and Kansi were served. The Kansi was heavenly! It was flavorful and the beef was cooked perfectly. (Not in photos. Hindi na kasya, sadly.) The other one that I liked which unfortunately is not included in this photo set, is the Kilayin Kapampangan - kinda like sisig but with diced pork, liver and heart.

And then, the Lechon Ulo ng Baboy was served! This sinful little baby had crunchy skin, served with their homemade thin breads with their salsa. (Mango salsa FTW!)

I wasn't able to try the Kare-Kare with the bagoong, but it was good on it's own. Nutty, yummy and the veggies were crunchy. We also got to try their Chicken Inasal. The chicken was flavorful and not dry at all! (Extra rice please?)

For dessert, they served Guinomis, Tibok-Tibok and two kinds of ice cream - Kesong Puti and Ube Langka. The Tibok-Tibok, made of carabao's milk, had a slight dayap aftertaste which I liked. And of course, the crowd favorite - The Kesong Puti Ice Cream. It's soooo good! They'll be selling it soon in pints so I am super excited about that!

Also got the Sago't Gulaman and had a sip of their Vanilla Pineapple Cooler which were both a little too sweet, but once the ice melted, it was good.

Overall, the experience was great. The interiors were beautiful. The food was delicious, homey and are the things I'd crave for every now and then. (

Thank you, Sartin and Roegan T!

It was nice to meet you, Pat D and Brie K. And it was nice seeing you guys again, Christina R Jayson J EJ B Sandy P Angela Marie C Russel F. 128522

Had the white cold brew each and shared a Pistachio cheesecake after having lunch. I usually just get their Buckys or their Apple Pie, but I loooved their Pistachio Cheesecake! Their white cold brew is not overly sweet, which is why I liked it as well. 128522

I just wish they would move to a bigger place. But nevertheless, still my favorite coffee place in Eastwood.

It was my first time to visit Kamay ni Hesus yesterday and there were a LOT of people. But I must say, everything was very organized. The lines were properly managed, there were safety personnel everywhere and there were also food stalls. Lined up to reach the top, 300 steps in total. Got myself uhm three 'pilipits' and a pansit habhab upon going back down. 128170🏻

Wings

Spent one Sunday at ATC to watch a movie and so we decided to have early dinner at Wingstop. Ordered two Boneless Bites, and we chose 4 flavors: Mild Butfalo, Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan and I actually forgot the last one. But I liked the Mild Buffalo and their Lemon Pepper. I tried their wings way back when their Eastwood branch was still open and although the Boneless Bites were a little small, they're easier to eat. 128522

I have always loved Stockwell but their first branch is way up North. (OA pala, di naman way up. Medyo lang, QC) But good thing they finally have a branch at the newly opened Corner Market.

I ordered my favorite, the Stockwell 50-50. Creamy, but you could still taste the coffee. I also love their Stockwell Sub Zero! 10052️9749️

Visited Elyu last month and we had lunch here on our 2nd day. Old typewriters, cameras and chairs made of recycled materials are placed all over the compound, with the US war jeepney from the 1950's on display by the entrance.

I was absolutely surprised that I loved their Summer Salad with the special strawberry vinaigrette! Did not expect that one from an inuman place! Lol. And then the 'real' panglaban food arrived - SPAM Fries, Sinigang, Rice bowls.

I loved the sinigang! It was maasim, just the way I liked my sinigang. The bagnet was crunchy and flavorful.

For the ricebowls, my favorites were the Chicken Mushroom, Liempo Express, Bistek and Tuna Curry.
