Price for three, meal for one.

I gotta be honest here. The food tastes okay. We got the Lengua and Beef Stew, but both of these are just good for one person. Both tasted okay, but for the price, I was expecting something more dramatic. I don't know if the "single serving" style if part of their branding, but man... It's not working on this one.

Filipinos love food, and even when your market is the elite, they don't wanna be served with food that seemed to be "tinipid", especially when the price isn't cheap.

People would pay more to eat more in this market :) xoxo

Overpriced goodness.

Weeeellll. The red velvet was moist and it tasted good. But, in my opinion, there was no "distinct brand" taste. What's more, the packaging was so wrong - you had to teach way way down to get your cupcake from the box. (Big chance of messing up your hands with cream cheese). And yes, one cupcake costs P85. Why? Why? Why?

EPIC BAD SERVICE. First, they placed me and my mom at a very warm location out of chairs and a table they just pulled out of nowhere. Next, they put small plates ik our table by accident and did not even remove them. And guess what! On top of that, they lost our order. We waited for nearly an hour before it came and I had to follow up more than 5 times. Excruciating to the eyes seeing people who arrived the same time as us, dining and leaving, while we were out there starving. I will never eat here as long as I live.

Bakahan at Manukan

Not worth trying.

This was the first ever one-star rating I ever gave. I'm a big fan of Filipino Food. Their supposed specialty is baka and manok. I ordered tinupig na manok (alleged bestseller) and pocherong bulalo.

Advice: if you wanna eat market share with Kabisera ng Dencios, make sure your quality is as good. The food quality is a far cry from its equivalent price. The service is so bad too, that even when the waitress dropped the "sandok" in the table, she didn't even care to replace it. She just looked and walked away. I was so shocked I couldn't say a word. Ano to, karinderya?

I'm surprised you're still in business.

Big Ben Steaks & Grills

Do not leave unattended.

I never knew your P400 could take you to a great 3-course meal which ends with thick angus beef steaks. This place is heaven sent! The freshness of their food is literally orgasmic. I can still remember the feeling. You know that the food is stellar when it moves you, once it touches your taste buds. This is the real deal, fellas!

If I only had a lot of money, I'll get a franchise!

From ambiance, to service, to food quality. This gensan resto rocks big time! :)

We ordered top blade steak, tuna sashimi and tuna belly. Their dishes are a far cry from the food we get to taste in Manila. Believe me, if you miss big ben on a gensan trip, you're missing out on life itself.

Bigben fan!!! Bigtime.

I ordered the wrong dish.

When I got instructions from people who've been to gen san, i must have mixed up "what to order" and "where to order" so I went ahead and ordered the inihaw platter. It was great but not uncommon.

Then I started looking around... Every one ordered their RIBS!!!

I was already too full so I didn't order anymore but I envied them so bad. The ribs looked really good and it was big too! When I saw the price it was just for P400! And believe me it was good for three people.

Hope I can redeem myself next time by ordering "the right order".

Loving it here in gen san! :)

Wee Nam Kee Hainanese Chicken Rice

Singaporean

Hainanese chicken that's forgettable.

The secret to having a successful food business is leaving an "itch to be back" mindset and a reasonable price for the food.

These 2 elements, Wee Nam Kee lacked.

The food was okay. But not enough for a person to have a craving to be back. Considering that I was so hungry that time (which makes food taste so much better), the place lacked those success factors. The price was ugly too.

I liked the smell and taste of their haianese chicken rice, but again, this wasn't enough to leave a lasting impression.

Chances are, this place won't go far.

Rank #2 for cebu's lechon! Crispy!

Their service was great and the skin was definitely extra crispy!!! I loved it! :) they had more skin than servings from cnt lechon.

I didn't like the sisig squeezed into the squid. It tasted kinda goofy and liver-spread like. Taste was too strong.

I'm a lechon lover, so I give their lechon a 4.0!

Will definitely be back when cnt lechon is on fullhouse :)

Silly people. It's 5 stars! Not 4.

First time in cebu just lately. I tried Zugbuchon but cnt is definitely the rock star! The wait is well worth it. The part we got was baga-baa ( shoulder blades). The taste literally lingers in your mouth!

I would kill to have cnt lechon here in Manila. Definitely a must-try! For people in manila, their rice is called "pu-so" and it tastes better than normal rice too! :)

I'll be back cnt! :)

Crazy Katsu

Japanese

Ever so popular....why?

Natural foodie as I am, I now get why a lot of people are raving about this place.

They innovated their Japanese cuisine by adding more "burst of colors" to their veggies. I honestly felt like the owner splashed in Filipino style veggie presentation to their menu.

I got to taste chicken tonkatsu, fish & veggie tempura, and chicken veggie salad.

I thought the place was okay. Just a little too exaggerated to be that popular. I think I'll try other places in Maginhawa if i get hungry. Not this one :)
