Conti's

After watching Avengers:The End Game I was craving for some Conti' tuna and chicken pie which costs roughly at around 35 to 37 PHP each. Teemee T and I also ordered a slice of Mango Bravo (215 PHP) which was our favorite here.

Besides our usual order here, we tried the Spinach and Mushroom toast (185 PhP) which has a very soft bread underneath which i really enjoyed as it wasn't very heavy for a light snack. It also has 2 boiled eggs on top of the spread where the yellow part was just partly boiled (which I like how boiled eggs are cooked -medium) and another layer of light cheese on top of the boiled egg. The spread was also generously plenty. I also enjoyed the fried potato strings served on the side, it complimented the main dish.

Tsujiri

Ordered a Tsujiri Sundae shared with Teemee T

Rich and creamy matcha flavored soft served ice cream...loved the mochi + chestnut on top and the roasted rice crunch at the buttom. Didn't like the red bean as it was too sweet. Maybe next time I'll just order the O-Matcha soft served for a more distinct matcha taste. The toppings were overpowering the matcha's taste. Btw, the pink flower was a cone pala! Haha...#Meh Thought it was a candie/icing from the pictures!

Uma Uma Ramen

Ramen or Noodle

Ended up with Uma Uma Ramen for our late lunch after Comic Con Asia 2018. It has chasiu, spring onion, kikurage (black fungus), spicy miso aaaaaand my favorite marinated soft boiled egg japanese style 128525128525128525🥚🥚🥚. It's also their recommended and bestseller according to the waitress. Tasted good for me...Though I was curious with their dry ramen version of Tantanmen. Maybe next time I'll try that. Didn't try it because I wanted soup. I did want tantanmen but the soup won.

P.S. they don't charge Service Charge, so don't expect superb service either. Bit sloppy on this. No one was even assigned as a receptionist and to bring you to your table. It's like they didn't even see us entering the resto. No free house tea also.

Original Brewed Double Double coffee was a great choice. Just felt guilty with that double cream and double sugar but it was perfect. The combination brought out the brewed coffee's taste. If you like sweet and creamy coffees, you'll definitely want to try this. Also, I noticed that it's not that expensive compared to other coffee brands.

LAVA Cheese Tarts

Dessert

My Oh My, this just changed my Cheese Tart game.

=Top to bottom flavours=
128073Original
128073Gorgonzola and Honey - this one is my favorite 128150 (so far). I like the sweet and salty combination. Though the honey was a bit messy and it is placed on top of the cheese when you order.
128073Prosciutto and Melon Gelee.

I super love cheese and this is the most melted, flavourful and softess cheese tart I have ever tasted. Eat it while it is still warm. The cheese was oozing out in every bite. Even the crust was soft. I felt very guilty after eating it but at the same time very happy. #CheeseHeaven

The server was also nice and accommodating, she even gave me time to take a picture before wrapping it for to go. She also suggested that I post it on FB or IG and use the hashtag #LavaCheeseTarts.

Though I can't have this everyday because it is so sinful and expensive too! The box of 3 already costs 240 Php.

Toast Box

Fusion

Food was ok, ordered a kaya toast ala carte. It has coco jam and a thick slice of butter.

You can also smell the tea and coffee all over the place, it was really strong and soothing.

But place needs to be maintained or cleaned. Honestly, i am quite disgusted because the tables are not cleaned immediately and left damped, the floor is slippery and a lot of broken items inside. This used to be a really cute place to chill. The interior is all white so imperfections can easily be seen.

Service was ok.

Legazpi Airport

Airport

Not bad for a domestic airport. Their comfort rooms are clean and it has tissue paper. The departure area also has good seats and has aircon.

Need to present your boarding pass plus an ID before you can enter the airport. The checkin area is quite small and the lines can take up so much of the space. There is also an airport fee.

The airport is within Legazpi City, thus not very far from the city centre.

Bliss Bowls

Trying out Bliss Bowls for the first time. It is located just right beside Dad's Buffet. It is a very small shop which has around 4 tables.

Teemee T and I tried the light, refreshing & not very sweet Cacao Kiss after a yoga practice, it's one of their bestsellers according to the cashier.

It has bananas, strawberries, unsweetened cacao, coconut milk, nut butter, granola & coconut flakes which boosts energy, promotes heart health and a natural anti-depressant.

Thier food concept are smoothies in bowls or smoothie bowls and they use 100% fruits, veggies and superfoods with no added sugar, dairy, water or ice. I like that they served the smoothie in wooden bowls. The serving time when we visited took around 10 mins because it was prepared right after we ordered it. The Cacao Kiss was served chilled. I think it is better to eat it while it is still cold.

Was so happy with my visit today. Both my hands and feet nail artisan were very meticulous and all my nails were done perfectly within an hour. Just stayed 15mims more to dry it up.

Ida, my mani nail artisan, was very clean and she seems to be the senior in the team. Their receptionist currently was not available, so she would sometimes help out the other staffs and from time to time asks to pause my service. She would excuse herself and apologize, yet have no trouble where to resume and she moves really quick.

I wasn't able to get the name of my pedi nail artisan but she was nice enough to return the number of folds of my pants after washing my feet.

Due to a mass brownout at Naga City because of Typhoon Nina, we had to look around for a place where there is internet and electricity. My sister and I happened to found this cafe around Magsaysay area. The owner/manager was pretty generous and accommodating when we inquired if we can stay to charge our devices and use their free internet for a long time. Some establishments would require you to pay 20 to 30 Php for every device, every hour. But of course, we had to order for staying here. We arrived at the cafe past 12 noon on a Thursday which was our first visit. Place was not yet crowded and there were still free slots to charge our devices. As we stayed longer, more people were coming in.

On our first visit, we ordered a Tuna Salpicao and a Tomato-based pasta. Both had a large amount of serving size and was delicious. Honestly, it can be shared and price is not that expensive. After a while, we also ordered a Cappuccino and a Matcha both over ice.

On our second day, we ordered a Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Nachos and for my drink - an Earl Grey Iced Tea. The grilled chicken sandwich has a lot of veggies, a few chicken strips and the bun was 2 hotdog buns cut into 2. For the Nachos, it was fairly delicious, generous serving size, enough amount of toppings and it is good for sharing. Although I noticed the chips was not that crunchy anymore.

The staffs were really nice and respectful. Orders also took some time to arrive but for me this was ok cause we really need to stay longer :D. They would also ask if the orders were OK, although I noticed, they kept on asking us if we made additional order (i think this happened twice) on our first visit - maybe they want us to order more for staying longer. But really we were already full from all the foods and drinks we ordered.

This place really saved us from the aftermath of Typhoon Nina!
