El Puerto Marina Beach Resort and Vacation Club

4.0 Stars

This is our favorite beachfront resort to go to :)

I've been here three times and all were superb experiences.

Accomodation ☆☆☆☆
We stayed at their couple kubos which was just for P3,000/night and it had what we needed. Although their bathroom can be upgraded to match the tropic bedroom. This specific room completes the island vibe a workaholic is tryna look for in a resort.

Amenities ☆☆☆☆☆
The resort has 8 different pools including a wave pool, water slides, kiddie pools, and our favorite, the infinity pool. One of the main reasons why we chose this resort is because of its instagrammable factor! And the infinity pool is also a pool bar. So you can sip your loved drink while enjoying the view of the clear blue sky and the calm beach.

Activities ☆☆☆☆
After enjoying the pools, beach and their kubo, guests can go kayaking. They have 3 available equipments and 2 banana boats. We went kayaking at around 7 in the morning and the waves were perfectly calm. Another plus factor is that you can have drinks by the beach at night with a bonfire. You can purchase their bonfire bundle for P50 each and stay there for as long as you want.

Food ☆☆
This gets my lowest rating since it's overpriced and it takes them a while to serve you your order. They have a controlled buffet for breakfast and ala carte for the rest of the day unless you've arranged buffet set up for your big group. The food is a delicious array of Filipino dishes. It's just that it's overpriced and the serving size is too small for the price they listed.

Celebrated my mom's birthday here and we loved it!

We had dinner at 6pm on a Friday night and it wasn't crowded! So we were able to enjoy the place even more.
Servers are really accomodating and the best thing about this place is their food.
I've been here for several times and I always go back to their kani salad and Irish porkchop. My dad enjoyed the bagnet rice and it's all under 300 pesos.

Figaro Coffee Company

Food, ambiance, location and music :)

We ordered the ff:
Five Cheese pizza- EXTREMELY CHEESY!!! And the thin crust dough is a perfect match to its flavor
Peperroni pizza- real peperroni and great amount of cheddar but not as delicious as the five cheese one
Butterscotch frappe- this was da bomb dot com ^_^ creamy and it had coffee jelly

It felt like we were in a different city. You'll love the sun lighting up this whole place with its tall windows (kindly refer to the pictures for its accurate description hehe) or a pleasant rainy scene will also give you a calm afternoon. (Would love to try dining in the evening)

This branch is inside the Baguio Cathedral grounds and that means less distraction and noise pollution from crowded streets.

They played jazz music all afternoon!

MUST TRY!! -> Five cheese pizza and their frappes
