I know they're just a few weeks in but service was horrible. Waitress got our order wrong and seemed confused.

We ordered 4 meals -- 2 original, 1 yangyum and 1 spicy yangyum (hope i spelled it right). And one cheesy seafod tobboki. When they were serving the chicken, the 2 yangyum came first. When I asked the guy serving which was which, he didn't know. So he asked the waitress who took our order. So the waitress approached us and said they were the same. So I said, we ordered one spicy and one sweet-spicy. She just had a blank face so I just said never mind. She comes back a few minutes later and said sorry, she made a mistake. What she served were both spicy and she brought us a bowl of sweet-spicy sauce. How can you correct it that way?

My parents were with us and both were senior citizens. For a bill of P1,050, senior citizen discount was around P20. They just got 20% from just HALF the cost of the tobboki. Wow.

We tried Secret Recipe's P99-promo that had a slice of cake and any hot drink. Great deal, right?

There were four of us and shared three orders. We chose moist chocolate cake, fudge chocolate cake and the cocoa mocha cake. We also ordered white caramel machiatto and their mocha.

The moist chocolate cake wasn't true to its name and was dry. The other two were okay. I had better memories of the Secret Recipe cakes in Singapore and Malaysia.

Coffee was good though.

All in all it was sulit, just don't get the moist chocolate cake.

Tried another item from KFC's cheezy bacon line: the cheezy bacon fries. It had real bacon bits, cheese sauce and mayonnaise. It worked well with their fries 128522

I think I would have it again soon!

Fried Chicken

I think my previous posts prove how much I love Bon Chon. It's my comfort food.

I was pretty disappointed with their newest menu addition though - the Bulgogi Noodle Soup.

It got the sukiyaki taste, which I like. t's pretty much their chapchae + soup + bulgogi beef + tofu. But for ts price of P115 for the large bowl it looked kawawa. Best to order something with it but it would set you back a bit. There's also a regular size that can be ordered as an add-on to their other meals but I saw it and it was around 1 cup only.

It's not worth the price 128533 Or rather, I wouldn't go to Bonchon just to order this.

Cheese + Bacon... need i say more?

Had to definitely try this. I don't usually get Jollibee's champ (or any of their burgers gor that matter) since I don't like mayonnaise in my burger.

So this variation for the Champ was a must-try for me.

Had pretty sizeable pieces of bacon, had a lot of cheese sauce (warning: it's quite messy to eat), and some mushrooms. I was humgry so I managed to eat three-fourths of it. PLUS the regular fries.

Not sure if I would go back to Jollibee again for it though. It's not as crave-able as McDonald's McSpicy.

LOOOOVVVVVEEEDDD the Cookie Butter McFlurry! Strong cinnamon taste and crunch from the cookie bits. Will go back for more!127846

Salted Caramel sundae was pretty good too. Na-overshadow lang ng Cookie Butter McFlurry 128522 saltiness was just right. I like it better than their usual caramel sundae. Hope they make those P40 duo sundae with choco fudge and salted caramel!

I did say I was going back to Taters to get their fries 127839 for the movie! 127916

My mom and I went ln a date to watch She's the One in Eastwood.

We got some food before the movie. Got the hotdog meal which came with the fries (chose white cheddar again!) and iced tea.

It was a satisying meal. Hotdog bun was whole wheat. Just right amount of condiments. Fries again didn't disappoint. :)

Tea

It was Sunday afternoon and my mom and I were at Galleria. Wanted to sit down and tske a break and I remember I always so that Sip was almost always empty even on such a busy day for the mall.

I ordered the lychee tea with nata de coco (as they didn't have aloe vera). For the first time the attendant actually recommended 50% sugar level when others had 100% as their default.

Sweetness was just right. Nata de coco bits were just the right size. Even not asking what my ice level preference was they were quite spot on with the coolness without the ice blocking the straw or taking over the whole drink.

And try sitting on their rocking chairs! They're awesome!

Starbucks Coffee

Coffee

Was waiting for a friend to pick me up for a wedding in Tagaytay. Since I had an hour, I waited in Starbucks with my Kindle with me.

I knew I wanted a frappe so I tried to order the hopefully healthiest option to balance the meal out.

I zoned in on the parma ham sandwich. I read the description: wheat bun, egg whites, mozzarella cheese (FYI, real mozzarella is one of the healthiest cheeses out there that even the South Beach Diet recommends it).

Okay, looks like I had a winner here.

Ordered it with a tall dark mocha. (Okay, sue me.)

The problem with the parma ham sandwich is that what seemed like a healthy sandwich actually is not. I've been fooled. The ham was laden with fat. Reminds me of those Christmas Hams.

If only I wasn't set on getting a "healthy" sandwich I would have enjoyed it.

Gave it 4 stars mainly it was just because of my nuisances that made me feel weird about the sandwich. But oh well it was pleasant enough.

My sister and I split the turkey burger meal with white cheddar fries. It came with red iced tea. The fries were good. The burger, however, had an odd texture.

Quite a forgetable meal. Fries may be good the next time I watch a movie though 12852212783910084
