Jaro Cathedral

4.0 Stars
Historical Site

Owing to the rich and affluent families in this district of Iloilo, the majestic Jaro Cathedral shares its own story of mysticism. It is called the Masculine Church because saints lined up along the aisle are all men. The image of Our Lady of the Candles is said to grow bigger and bigger as the years pass by.

San Joaquin Church

The facade of the church depicts how the Christians defeated the Moors. The church is beautiful outside but lost its charm inside. I hope local tourism people would help in restoring the old beauty of this mighty church.

I love this church because it houses old relics, and majestically stands tall in a quaint district in Iloilo City! Every person going to Iloilo must go here!!!!

Wings

Friuli's in Maginhawa has long dominated the pasta scene in this food capital of Quezon City. I think It finally met its match. Pasta in this restaurant is deliciously good!!! Serving size if for one but it can be shared as well. Buffalo wings are rather small in serving size.

Great Outdoors

The most pictured area in Islas de Gigantes islands! Cabugao Gamay is perfect for a quick stroll by the beach. Coconut trees line up the shores where tables and chairs are perfectly nestled for anyone who wishes to eat here. The best part of this island is actually going up in the rock formation to get the best angle for that perfect dream spot! :-)

Gigantes Norte Lighthouse

5.0 Stars
Historical Site

Built in 1893, the Islas de Gigantes Norte Island lighthouse served as a guide to maritime cargo vessels, boats, and fishermen in the Visayan Sea. It is one of the many lighthouses that is easily accessible from the main road. Once inside the compound, local kids greet you with eagerness and pure happiness. They're ready for photoshoots and group-fies as well. :-) Better head towards this lighthouse early in the morning to catch the sunrise. The view is just majestic! 9786
