I'm back! My 13th review for Pan De Amerikana Marikina branch.

Back again to one of our favorite breakfast place in Marikina. 127774127860 Pan De Amerikana located at Gen. Ordonez Marikina City.

It was a rainy Friday morning when we went there last July 8🌧. There was a wedding event that day so we were seated somewhere at the back.

We ordered two omelette meals then two sets of tapsilog and finally i was able to try their palabok, it's available not only in merienda but even on breakfast too.

They have wifi and the place was relaxing and nice place for picture taking. You'll love the giant chess there.

Good news, spotted looloo sticker also here

You'll not only fall in love with their pandesal but you'll also go gaga over their giant chess pieces and beautiful nature-loving setup. Not to mention the bridge when you go up their spiral staircase (be careful though). Their staff were not too warm but nice, I always tell my husband to go here have breakfast here; it's where you'll find the lutong bahay feels of simple lifestyle. Like pandesal with calamansi juice, pansit bihon and their canton that doesn't taste like it's from an expensive resto but just how my mom would cook it at home. And the oldies Sunday music. Relaxing with getting your tummy full. It's like having breakfast with your grandparents even if they are not around. You'll feel close to family with every taste.

Craving Satisfied!

Dropped my daughter earlier at her school and decided to go to Pan De Amerikana after. This is our favorite breakfast place in Marikina.

It's time for a change. I didn't order my favorite bangusiiog meal, rather I order their palabok. It's my first time to try it. Glad they served it as early in the morning. It's only 50 pesos plus 20 pesos for their red iced tea. It's really relaxing to have a giant chess view in front of you while waiting for your order and that there was a wifi connection also.

Will always keep coming back here. Nice ambience and affordable meals

Thursdate breakfast last week with my husband at Pan De Amerikana. Happy to be back again with our favorite breakfast place.

Hubby got the cheese omelette served with rice while I ordered my favorite bangusiiog meal then paired it with red iced tea. The ambiance is nice for breakfast, affordable meals , with bakery and wifi. It's nice to have picture taking also inside the place,

Will never get tired having breakfast here127860 this is our first breakfast here for 2016

Thank God It's Friday!128522127860

After we dropped off my daughter Adelheid L in school, my two boys and I decided to have breakfast at Pan de Amerikana. We've been so busy lately and we just want to relax this Friday morning before they go to school and work.

Pan de Amerikana is well known breakfast place in Marikina. We always end up here because they are the only breakfast place that is open as early as 6am. Then they were known for a nice ambiance too. Perfect to catch up with friends and family. But I'll have to be honest that food is just normal especially with breakfast meals and now the price increased. From 60 to 70 pesos before and now it goes up to 95 pesos. Drinks not included, no vat and service charge.

Hubby and I got the mushroom and cheese omelette. It's just a plain scrambled egg with just a few mushroom and cheese. It cost 95 pesos already, I find it pricey then for my son Latrell Joshua L he had tapa with garlic rice and egg so that's 75 pesos. Red ice tea is good here and cost 20 pesos.

They have wifi but the service as usual is kinda slow, if your not in a hurry this place is for you, but for us who we're always in a rush, malelate ka talaga.

Happy weekend! 127860

Finally i was able to bring mom at one of our fave breakfast place in Marikina, Pan de Amerikana.

After we bought books for my daughter back to school we went straight there.

There are some changes, they add more painting and this is one reason why many go here because of the nice ambiance.

We had bangusilog, tapsilog , hotsilog and the thirst quencher red ice tea. Affordable meals, fast service, good for picture takings.

Nice, cozy and homy vibe. So far, everything that we ordered are delicious! And price is cheap! Their ensaymada is really good too and it's made of wheat bread 127838
Gave it a 4 cause we have to wait for a long time for the food to arrive.
Ate here twice and of course will come back here when we get a chance 128567 #happytummy indeed! 128523

I like this branch.

It's bigger compared to Katipunan's.

Ambience 4.5/5

Food 4/5

We had:
Wheat pandesal 3 for P20 4/5
Ilokano Igado 4/5
Watermelon shake 4/5
Caesar salad 3.5/5 (needs more dressing)
Bangus sisig 4/5
Saba con yelo 3.5/5 (needed more milk, kind of weak in taste)
Ensaymada 4/5

Value for money 4.5/5

The service is very good except when they hand me the bill, receipt & change. (As if nagbabayad lang sa convenient store or public transpo, they just handed me the receipt & change, no bill tray or whatsoever).

Parking 5/5

Overall, it's an awesome experience minus the mosquitoes. 128521

They've revamped their menu since I last came here and I love it! They still have a variety of dishes to choose from but they narrowed down the items to less than 10 per section/group.

Love the interior of the place. It's very organic. You'll find wood everywhere and antique items. I'm a fan of nativity chairs and they have tons of that here. :). Great for group or family gatherings as they have very spacious area. Not to mention the giant chess pieces they have at one section. Both kids and adult love that! :)

Service is quick. They served my order in less than 5 minutes!

This morning I ordered my all-time-Comfort food: tuyo with salted egg (P75), steamed okra (P25) and brewed coffee (P30). They have great salted eggs - creamy and oily yolk and not salty at all! Cheap compared to other restos. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes. Can't believe they have Waknatoy! ;)

Wednesday breakfast with hubby 128145127860at Pan de Amerikana Marikina.

Back again at one of our favorite and nearest breakfast place. After hubby and I dropped our daughter in school for her last day of exams we decided to unwind and give ourselves a break and a good breakfast place would be a good idea to release our stress.

Naiba na ang position nung counter and now they have menu folder and we got tocilog and mushroom and cheese omelet. Prices start at 75 pesos for the breakfst meal. Relaxing place and fart service coz we got it in before 10 minutes. They have wifi too.

This is one of the most affordable breakfast place in Marikina with a good ambiance

This is our go to place if we want to eat peacefully.

Our faves:
💟 bicol express
💟 sisig rice
💟 everlasting (Marikina style meatloaf)
💟 hot choco
💟 sinigang na baboy
💟 corned beef pandesal sandwich
💟 wheat ensaymada
💟 sinugba

We have yet to try their other dishes, we tend to stick to our faves. 128514

Food: 5/5
Price: 5/5
Location: 5/5 for Marikeños

I'd like to add that their White Plains branch is nearer to us, just 5-10 minutes away but we still prefer to go to this branch. The Marikina branch (20 minutes away from home) has this homey ambiance, like the dishes they serve, everything brings comfort. The White Plains branch doesn't have that. Stressful parking and the mood of the place is not as welcoming to me.

Wanna have quality time with someone but out of budget? Well, this place is for you! 128521

INTERIOR & AMBIANCE:
The homey ambiance will make you feel comfortable and if this is your first to third time you'll be looking around the place because it's well decorated. You can even play the humogous chess and take lots of pictures there. I also like to stay in the hammock. There are also swings around but they're a bit squeaky haha 128517

TAKE ON FOOD AND PRICES:
I consider the prices objectively cheap without having to sacrifice the quality of the food 128076
These are the food we ordered:
1. Tuna Pandesal
2. Dinuguan
3. Sinigang
4. Hot choco
5. The embotido type mechado (forgot the name)

......and they're all good! 128522

Side Note: If you want the latest version of this where all the interior, even the design of the house as a whole is inverted, visit their Katipunan extension Branch in White Plains Area 128521
