chicken Caesar salad
And iced tea..
its funny (in a good way) that they serve salad in a metal box and cool drinking cups for their drinks.. Gives me something to look at while waiting for my food..
their interior is so cool,
its a little bit narrow but its good enough.,
some privacy if you're on a date..
Or hiding? Haha
Salad 's just dressed enough ,
not swimming in its dressing..
Just how i like it.
Lots of chicken too..
somethings different in the iced tea
But i wasn't able to ask what was it coz i got a movie to catch.
Their chicken is good too,, the spicy one..
its crispy and sweet and spicy,,
Serve in a caution hot metal box ..

Korean fried chicken differs from typical fast food style chicken as it is fried twice, thus rendering it from the fat, making the skin thinner, crunchier, and supposedly less greasy. The chicken is then rubbed with a soy garlic sauce for that distinct flavor. Such is the chicken at 4 Fingers Crispy Chicken.

4 Fingers was set up by four Singaporean friends who journeyed around the world to search for culinary inspiration. Their travels brought them to the streets of New York where they found people raving about this new variant of fried chicken that came from Korea. The quartet returned to Singapore and introduced the trend to Southeast Asia.

In the Philippines, the currently have three branches. SM MOA, SM North Edsa, and SM Aura.

I got my first taste of 4 Fingers via an Ensogo voucher. I enjoyed my first visit and so I had to come back with a few friends.

Upon entering the store, what struck me was how well-designed the interiors were. Inspired by the urban New York style, you see white-tiled walls with "graffiti", pipelines on the ceiling, pale yellow lights, arrows and hanging signs. All reminiscent of a New York Subway station.

The chicken? It was well-"designed" as well. Crispy on the outside, but tender, juicy, and moist on the inside. The sauce was flavorful but not overpowering.

How does it compare to Bonchon? I liked 4 Fingers better. Bonchon's borders on the dry side, and their flavors are rather bland. My friends said the same thing. Hahaha!

Bon Chon's twin chain. 128522128522128522

Its not exactly bon chon's twin fast food chain but everything in it feels a lot like bon chon from the marinated chicken up to the prices. But one thing i admire are their plates. Its really cute and handy.

The atmosphere is great, tho the aircon isn't cold enough. If bon chon's a bit too stuffy, then this is the place to visit.

Tasty!! You have a choice between two flavors; soy garlic or hot. If you're looking for something to satisfy your tastebuds, just choose soy garlic or for some meals you can have a mix (for spicy lovers like me). The hot flavor is just really plain spicy, i don't recommend it. It's hard to eat on their food box because it's too small.

The meals are affordable. 128077

The korean fried chicken trend has yet to die down. Another one to join the bandwagon is 4 Fingers.

I tried the branch in MOA to see how it'll fare against BonChon and Chicken Charlie.

In terms of crispness, it's definitely crispy with the KEEERRRUUNNCCHHHhhhing sound! The taste is similar to Chicken Charlie. It was good but I still prefer BonChon's. I like how their spicy wings are really spicy. The fries however was a bit disappointing. It was really thin and dry. Even the kimchi slaw, although tasty was a bit dry for me too.

They have other options like squids, and etc. but of course I had to try first their main star. 128513

I'm actually giving them 3.5 stars but there's no such thing so okay, 4. The service was okay but i didn't like the fact that I could hear the staff's dirty linen getting announced unknowingly because of how the sound echoes from the kitchen. 128553

I asked why the name? The owner said because you use four fingers when eating wings. So there. 128513

It's my first time eating here, and uhhh, can't say I really enjoyed though, but the respectful and polite staff makes it good to eat here.

I ordered, well you guessed it, their fried chicken, the chicken skin was crispy and flavorful and all but beside the skin, the chicken meat didn't really have any flavor or juicyness, it's plain dull, I'm sorry 4 fingers lover but without the chicken skin, the chicken is tasteless.

The iced tea wasn't really special, taste like your ordinary Nestea, ugh...

But you know, I do reviews based on 50% food quality, 25% staff overall, and 25% cleanliness of the place. Both the staff and cleanliness got it perfect for me, very friendly and polite staff, I'm a first timer there so.... And the place is so clean 128077128077128077

On a different note, I didn't know Mercato had it's debut that night and IT WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF US! I should have went there instead. lol

Same same chicken wings 128528128528

I heard a lot of buzz about this resto, so I when I had the chance to go to MOA, I dine there.

We've ordered the 8pcs chicken wings half soy and half spicy, we also had chicken caesar salad.

The chicken is crispy but wasnt flavorful. The salad is not delicious also 128560

The crew was not accomodating also and nakakairita!! 128545128545128545

Bonchon is better. I dont like it here.

Good to be back from a tiresome but fun-filled weekend! 128522

My family decided to try 4 Fingers in Mall of Asia, thanks to coupons! Ha ha! 128517

We got two 9-pc orders of the 4 Fingers Crispy Chicken - their specialty. The pieces were either too small or we were just starving.

As to the flavor, the parts were almost similar to Bonchon's Soy Garlic. I find this better though, or maybe I was too preoccupied to fill in my grumbling tummy. 128517

We also ordered the Tofu & Mushroom Salad, which was not really impressive. Toss in lettuce, dried black mushroom bits and tofu with some dressing then that's it.

Iced tea drinks were nothing special too, by the way.

I was curious to try other dishes that might pass as okay or better for me but meh, maybe next time.

But in fairness, this place was not as packed as Bonchon. So if you're craving for Korean style chicken and cannot wait, maybe this will do. 128518

Orded the Chicken Ricebox and it was good! Serving size is just average for its price. Place is really nice (it almost felt like i was in HK or other asian countries). Good alternative if you love BonChon. No healthy options, though.

Overall, i like it! Would definitely go back on cheat days! Haha!

The Korean style chicken that is supposedly taking Singapore by storm is now in Manila. I got the chance to try this twice cooked chicken via a Ensogo voucher.

It was quite good. The chicken was crispy on the outside, but soft and juicy on the inside. The soy garlic sauce that they put on the chicken was just right. Not overpowering.

Serving size-wise, it was just average. Just enough to satisfy the hunger pangs

Oh, and their iced tea was good! They come in red tea and green apple flavors.

Just a simple alternative to your well known BonChon.

They almost have the same exact menu as well.

Only difference is, the taste is a little more like Manang's and the ambiance is a little bit like Army Navy.

Nothing much to say about this place. Just your typical chicken joint. But their chicken ceasar salad was good. It wasn't the cheap type of ceasar salad you'd usually get at some other places. You can really taste the ingredients and stuff. Generous amounts of parmesan as well. Still good value for money.

I'd say it's worth a try.
