Love it here! 128155128538128521

Another hole-in-the-wall find in San Juan! They were previously known as Cookbook Kitchen. Same management just different feel of the place!

Food was great. A bit pricey but some menu are good for sharing.

Will most likely come back!

I'm loving 8 & Company's Pasta ala Gen and Lemon Baked Fish. I'm liking their Grilled Chicken with Turmeric Rice with Cilantro Sauce.

8 & Company is a redux of Cookbook Kitchen. This time around, the establishment is now run by the children of the original owner of Cookbook Kitchen. A new name, a new look, and a new menu featuring new dishes and subtle tweaks on Cookbook Kitchen's former best sellers. It sits on the original hidden spot in San Juan where Cookbook Kitchen used to be.

The Lemon Baked Fish is a "lemonier" take on Cookbook Kitchen. A flavorful rich and creamy baked casserole of Cobbler fish fillet topped with cream, Parmesan Cheese, and lemon. Perfect with rice.

The Pasta Ala Gen is a pasta dish with a Pinoy twist. The dish is made of roughly shredded flavorful and tender pork adobo with a spicy sweet-tangy sauce, baked tomatoes, spaghetti, and fried egg.

The Grilled Chicken with Turmeric Rice with Cilantro Sauce was tasty with Asian flavors. The chicken fillets were nicely seasoned and smokey but I found the meat to be a bit tough to the chew. Flavor-wise, the grilled poultry was yummy with the herby cilantro sauce and the lightly gingery turmeric flavored rice.
