88 peso anniversary today until store closes! Selected menu only.

Got myself a Q daddy and a chocolate milkshake for less than 200. The smaller size is what's offered. Tamang busog lang without the fries. I saw tables ordering 2 per person. Sulit.

My burger was ok. When I got it it wasn't as fresh off the grill as it should be. I saw the burgers in an assembly line and it's possible the first patties made were sitting in the line longer. Plus I had 2 big chunks of inedible litid.

Milkshake was super good! They didnt change the formula just because they reduced the price. I wanted oreo but by 1PM they said they ran out.

It took me 1.5 hours here. Came at 1130am, my order was taken at 1PM and I was eating by 115. Line wasn't really long, especially by 1PM when the usual lunch break was over. What took long was that they had to stop taking orders as they only allowed the promo for those dining in and that orders were backing up already. I was the cut off person. That was a smart move by the management. The manager actually kept informing people about the rules, even wanted to cut the line but some didn't want to leave. A lot left when they found out about the no take out policy.

Of course I had to endure hearing people complain about the line, trying to tell management what to do. Hay. Their system was ok naman. I only have 2 comments. If dining in is the only option, they should only allow those that have placed an order to get a table. There were those that reserved tables and malayo pa sila sa line. Secondly, do not give in to these makukulit na tao. Take outs were not allowed but after a while they started giving out foils to DIY wrap your own burger to go. Sana pala I ordered more kung ganun. Then there were those behind me that suckered the crew to allow them to pay now and return later without lining up just because they lined up for 2 hours daw and had to go back to the office. Unsolicited advice to 8 cuts - stick to your rules because you'll have more problems when you start bending them.

Oh and grabe naman mga lola. 88 na nga gusto pa rin ng SC discount. Wag naman ganyan.

Thanks to Ruth S for the heads up! Thanks 8 cuts! Happy anniversary!

Probably one of the best 8cuts branches there is -- food was sinful and scrumptious while the service was quick and efficient, well, except for the small strand of hair we found in our burger; everything was great. Kudos to the staff for being extra apologetic and for replacing our burger with no questions asked. :) Oh, and aside from burgers and onion rings, their fish and chips is a must-try too!

I really appreciate it when restaurants take note of customer feeback.  8Cuts is one of them.   When i reached out to them via IG regarding my last visit,  it never occurred to me that they will take notice.  Truth be told,  I'd still visit them in a heartbeat,  that's how much i love their burgers.

A week later,  i received a random message from 8Cuts.  She was asking for details about my visit.  I replied and explained what happened.  It was water under the bridge for me but the fact that they take feedback seriously made me admire the brand even more.

"Please give us a chance to win you back. "

Okay,  I'm sold.  I went back a last night in high spirits.  We were welcomed with warm smiles.  Rosette ushered us to our table,  asked for my order (yes,  dinner is on the house).  She was generous enough to extend the offer to CMA,  he politely declined.

Funny thing is that,  I've been to this branch countless times and it is only now that i noticed the surroundings.  Odd,  eh?  Maybe i was too fixated on their food.  They have excellent lighting,  perfect for IG ready photos.  The signage is made of tiny lights inside small bottles.  These nifty lighting fixtures gives a 3D illusion.  Perfect juxtaposition,  light and shadows.

I got the Four Cheese variant with some of onion rings on the side.   Whoever thought of placing stacks of cheese together and coating it with parmesan is a fringing genius.  It goes well the juicy beef patty,  one bite is an explosion of flavors - a lil crunch,  cheesey and oozing with beefy goodness.  The brioche bun is killer,  soft and butter toasted.

The onion rings is good as expected.  Still the best in Metro.  The barbeque powder makes this fried babies delectable.

As for the service,  the staff was attentive and Rosette was hands on in assisting all the diners.  She even offered a sincere apology for the mishap on my last visit.

Good job 8 cuts!  A big brand with a ginormous heart.

Whenever I am faced with the decision to pick a burger joint,  8 cuts is always my default choice.  I am afraid it is high time to change my burger perspective.

Burger craving late in the afternoon made me leave my bed and swing by 8 Cuts at Plant.  CMA biked his way to Makati to join me.  I went straight to the counter to place our orders.  Here's the fun part....drumroll please.

The lady manning the counter is acting high and mighty.  It seems that she is having a bad day and me standing in front of her made it worst.   I had to repeat my order three frigging times before she got it all.  She has this habit of punching in one order and asking for the rest of the items repeatedly.  And she has this look on her face.  Gah!  I wanted to give her a piece of my mind but i decided not too.  Believe me,  it took massive amounts of self-control to do so.

Anyway,  i was frowning when I sat down.

"She is not friendly. "

The level headed,  uber nice CMA said:

"Let it go.  She's been working all day."

My inner brat replied.

"I don't care,  that's not how you deal with customers...lagot siya sa review ko."

So here we are.  I'm staying true to my statement.  I rarely complain,  it ain't my thing but somehow her not-so-friendly demeanor got on my last nerve.

It breaks my heart when this happens.  I like the food,  it is unfortunate that I had to deal with bad service.   I do not enjoy writing negative reviews but she pushed me into it.

And oh,  our server Mark did his very best to brighten my day.  He was polite and friendly.  "Ate" will learn a thing or two from him.

Two stars for the service,  5 for the Bacon Shroom.  I was disappointed with my visit today.  I still love your burgers,  a lil refresher on customer service with your staff might be in order.

Bacon Shrooms Burger (1/3 lb)...one of the juiciest beef burgers I've ever tasted sandwiched in a sesame bun with generous servings of mushrooms, crispy bacon strips and slices of tomatoes and onions. Loved this burger and beautifully paired it with their crispy and tasty onion rings. 10084

What is that stuff they put on their onion rings and fries? Whatever it was-- and I don't want to mention the 3 letters of what I think it is-- it made my face numb and my head started to hurt. I don't see why they can't just use salt and pepper like normal restaurants do. It was so so so salty!!! Which is such a a waste because the onion rings and fries were fried so well and had good flavor even on its own.

I also ordered the burger with 4 cheeses. I appreciated the taste of the party which was very plump and flavorful and very juicy as well. I also liked that fried cheese they put on top which went very well with the burger. My burger which was really small - smaller than a Champ from Jollibee I believer cost 300+ which I think was a bit overpriced. We also tried the falafel burger. The falafel was so dry and mealy! It's bad enough you're eating vegetarian food but why does it have to be so dull?

I wish they would fix the menu in this place because I think it's such a waste to have a burger joint if it's not at all good or excellent!

8 Cuts Burger Blends truly does not disappoint. Today, after a full packed day of activities, my wife and I wanted something familiar and we agreed to eat here at 8 Cuts Power Plant.

This is the only branch that still does counter order (still weird that it follows a different format, but I guess that's how management wants it for now; their Trinoma branch is now full service, so I don't know why this one remains, but nevertheless, that's why I deducted 1* from the score).

Today I went basic. I didn't want to think what order to get. I just love the juiciness and beefy taste of their beef patty. House Blend is described as straightforward, meaty and juicy. Sounds about right. P195. 5/5

And, as a near stockholder of Burger Bar, Greenbelt (renamed 8 Cuts last April), this is perfectly cooked like usual.

And their onion rings, woooooohhh. The best. About the only onion rings my wife loves and would order on her own. Barbecue powdered and best served with garlic aioli dip. (don't settle for the mayo; ask their manager to give it to you for free coz they normally charge P25). Anyway the order is worth it at only P65. 5/5

Their manager, Ervin, looked familiar. Apparently, he used to be the bar head at Trinoma. There ya go. Good job. Love the expansion of The Moment Group from this and Namnam/Manam to Ooma in Megamall. That one's a hit! And I'd say 8 Cuts is a classic!

My second favorite burger joint (first is Charlie's).  I always go to 8 Cuts when i am craving for burgers.  I like the fact that they have a couple of branches in key locations - Eastwood,  Powerplant,  Greenbelt,  UP Town Center and Serendra (not sure where the other branches are).

I tried some of their fancy burgers but I always go back to Cheeseburger #3.  Classic never goes out of style.  Beef patty made to perfection,  cheese,  lettuce,  tomatoes and the tasty bun.  I am no ketchup bandit,  I prefer mayonnaise on my burger.  The weird thing is that,  you'll forget about condiments when eating ze burgers at 8 Cuts.  That's how tasty it is.  The burger is the star of the show.  Think Diana Ross without The Supremes singing You Keep Me Hanging On acapella.  The flavor goodness lingers on your mouth for hours even days.  Burger hangover.

8 Cuts placed Onion Rings back on the map. Before i tasted 'em,  i am content with the ones bought at the fast food chains.  These round,  donut-like in size,  battered babies are the baddest rings on the planet.  Fried to perfection,  best paired with tartar suace or can be eaten alone as each ring is packed with flavor.  You will not look at onion rings the same way after you've sank your teeth in them.

With the growing popularity of Burger Joints in the Metro, 8 Cuts holds its own in the market by serving good food. They have created a cult following among burger aficionados. I cant say that are a force to be reckoned with - not yet, maybe in a couple of years. One thing i am sure of - they are one of the major players in town.

8 cuts has now got to be my favorite burger place, hands down! I just love the flavor of the meat combined with the bread and other toppings! Nothing over the top!
Went to the Rockwell branch with my mom and sister (again 128513) cos we've been craving for good burgers. Left Alabang early so we could get a seat right away hehe. My mom got her regular blue cheese, forgot what my sister got but I tried the bar burger and it was amazee! My new favorite! We also got 2 orders of the yummy onion rings!

First time to try 8 cuts. I've always wanted to try it but somehow never had the opportunity. Luckily for me my wife said since I've been a good boy I get to choose were to eat.
My mother in law joined us and she was craving for a burger. Which surprisingly she ordered a chicken sandwich.
We ordered the burger with hollandaise and egg and my wife ordered the one with the mushroom tempura.
Sadly we all expected more. My mom in law said KFC had a better chicken sandwich, my wife's burger fell apart upon eating and the mushroom tempura was so hard. My burger was ok tho. None of us like the bread. On the plus side... The onion rings were kick ass!
Will eat there again but in a different branch. Maybe it was an off day. Cheers!

Been hearing about this place for a long time already and so we finally decided to try it earlier today. My sister ordered the Messy Benny while I hade The Piggy (bacon!). We also ordered fries and onion rings. While waiting for our order, we decided to also get milkshakes. My sister had chocolate and I got salted caramel. The food is great. The meat is cooked just right and the great thing about it is that you have the option to choose how you want your meat. There's also the choice of 1/3 or 1/4 patty, depending on how hungry you are. Their milkshakes are really for lovers of all things sweet, because my salted caramel was really thick and it took me a while to finish it. All in all, it was a good experience. Not really on the cheap side but you def get your money's worth. :)

Today, Madrid Fusion Manila opens to public but I just can't go because of more important things to do. We were in Power Plant last night and luckily, they have restaurants who has dishes made especially in celebration of Madrid Fusion Manila. One of which is 8 Cuts Burger Blends.

It was my first time in 8 Cuts and was totally amazed by the passion they put into burger making. First time to see a burger joint that gives it's customers so much freedom in customizing a burger.

I got their Bruschetta Burger. Looked so good in the picture and looked equally good when served. House Blend patty of short rib and ribeye, it was topped with kesong puti, fried tomatoes, dried herring, cashew, pickled green mango, fresh basil leaves and their sauce number 3 all in toasted sesame buns. So gorgeous, it was so hard to eat it! But once I took a big bite, I was blown away! So much flavor, so much goodness, it's the BEST burger I've ever tried yet! Loved the salty and juicy burger patty, the crunch given off by the breaded kesong puti and the play of flavors. This burger packs a punch! Since we ordered two burgers for sharing, I had to stop myself when I almost finished half. I'm going back for this burger soon. Like today soon LOL 128514

We also got their Four Cheese Burger, opted for Ox Tail and added some prosciutto coz you know you can never have enough meat 128557 it was equally good. Loved the juicy burger patty, the mixture of cheese oozing out and the salty prosciutto.

Then we also got their onion rings that were so good and crunchy, even my 5 year old liked them! Just got a little disappointed with their fries. IMO they were overpriced for such skinny potatoes lol. We added truffled shrooms and bacon but there wasn't enough bacon. Huhuhu

My daughter asked for a milkshake so we got their strawberry milkshake which was good - thick and creamy.

So full from this dinner. Still can't get over their Bruschetta Burger. Hope they'll have it for a little while so I can enjoy more of if it 128076🏻

How can a burger joint survive selling mediocre food at horrendous prices? (Burger + shake amounted to around P500)

And to my surprise - they even have multiple branches!

Had the lamb burger and it had that sickening gaminess taste. The buns obviously were bought from a supermarket or something.

Pack it in tropical hut wrapper and you won't know the difference.

My burger was salty. I got the Shroom quarter pounder with the Steak Cut blend. It was just okay, and there were pockets of saltiness around the patty. I didn't get to finish my burger. Oh well. Maybe I should've ordered something else. Pricey burgers too.

I ordered the Bleu burger (1/4lb patty) and left very satisfied. The burger patty was gloriously meaty (nothing but premium ground beef, no tough bits or extenders or tendons etc) and the size more than enough to whet my appetite. I love the crunchy leeks included in this burger - definitely crunchy, and together with the caramelised onions, adds that nice flavour to an otherwise rich burger.
