8 Cuts will always have a place in my heart 128525... And stomach. 128523

I've not been to my favorite burger place since June in MOA branch. Despite my proximity in BGC to their Serendra branch, somehow living here hadn't allowed my usual 2 - 3x a month visit here. I'd been a huge regular to the original Burger Bar (8 Cuts' predecessor and first ever branch). With its casual atmosphere and diner-inspired interior, it had become my go-to place with friends and colleagues when I worked near Greenbelt, and then subsequently at 8 Cuts MOA branch, when my work took me further south.

I mean, who could resist Burger Bar / 8 Cuts with their 5 different beef cuts (beef bomb is my favorite), best in class onion rings, warm service and decent price? Right? I also would drink my beer there instead of the dark noisy places suited for the younger folks looking to meet and party instead of chatting and enjoying company. Once I even ordered a bottle of wine from next door Barcino and they allowed it. That's how much of a regular I was to Burger Bar, and how accommodating they are. Plus they rewarded my patronage with free onion rings (w/ a free of charge switch from mayo to garlic aioli as the dip) or, when I would reciprocate their love by bringing in many friends and my teammates many many times, we'd get free dessert, too! Awesome service with awesome burgers and onion rings. Going here also brought to my attention the concepts initiated or brought here by the Moment Group. Namnam (now Manam) downstairs of Burger Bar, Ooma (one of my top fave Japanese restos) and Din Tai Fung, to name a few of their top restos.

I missed out on 8 Cuts' anniversary / birthday P88 promo last Wednesday, but I'd been craving for their best in class cheeseburger. So the evening of the following day, after an intense badminton game, I wanted to reward myself of the classic cheeseburger. 1/4 lb patty goodness for P195. (1/3 lb is P265). Burned calories bye bye! 128514

Some notable changes:

From 5 cuts like the beef bomb, steak cut or flank, 8 Cuts has simplified its US Angus patties to 2 types,

> House blend - juicier, mixture of brisket, short rib and ribeye
> Grass fed - leaner choice, with a combination of sirloin, round tip flank and shirt plate

I went with House Blend which is closer to the juicy Beef Bomb. They've made some more changes since September. Sliders, a few more dishes (check out spot.ph's article at http://www.spot.ph/eatdrink/the-latest-eat-drink/68057/8-cuts-new-menu-a30-20161011 for more details) and a nice flavor twist, based on the article, on the onion rings (sour cream!).

The basic cheeseburger is comfort food for me. Quality comfort food. The cut is slightly different tasting, but only just. I liked everything else. About the only complaint I had was from the cider dipped raw onions at the bottom. I don't like my onions on burgers raw. So that's something I've got to be mindful about next time I return. The streamlining of burger cuts and even the (128547) previous elimination of the brioche and (my fave) kaiser Bun options, I get. But the changing of the onions, I don't get.

I think that the staff should ask if the customer is a returning customer so they can take him through the changes they've made and the new additions, too.

But in the grand scheme of things, it's just minor. I woofed down my burger with ease, as the onion rings, too, fell by the wayside. They changed their garlic aioli in appearance and taste, too; thank God they didn't charge me for the added dip. Perks of being a regular, perhaps.

And thanks for the compli onion rings, G-boy and John. You guys rock! See you again, 8 Cuts. Sooner, I am certain.

I have always been a big fan oF 8 Cuts ever since I tasted their Piggy at the Megamall branch. On days when I am not very hungry and too lazy to use a knife and a fork, their plain Burger is enough for me. At P155 for 1/4 pound, not bad na! You can choose between House Blend and Grass Fed for your patty.

Their onion rings and skinny fries are awesome as well! 128076🏻 Aside from their Piggy & plain Burger, I also love their 4 Cheese and Hangover!!! Haha! So many things to love about this place. Heart-heart.

PS: Prior to eating at 8 Cuts last night, we also ate at 8 Cuts Greenbelt last Sunday. Lol. 127839

BEST ONION RINGS IN TOWN!!! I cannot!! 128525128525 You have to order this!! Must must!!! 128076🏼

Though a lot of other burgers are available, with lots of add ons and toppings, Ony and I will still order the Cheeseburger. Always! It's simple -- just with lettuce, tomato and cheese yet so good and tasty! Bread was super soft as well. Too bad Sauce No. 4 is not available anymore. If you want it spicy, you'll need to request for hot sauce. Oh well.

I also tried the Fish and Chips (replaced the usual fries to waffle fries) and it was just okay. Fish was tender but was kind of bland.

My friends tried the Chocolate Milkshake, Hangover Burger and Cheeseburger and they enjoyed it. The Milkshake, according to them, was really good. It was thick and creamy. The Hangover burger looked really good and yummy, I was so tempted to try it because of the egg. Next time, I shall try that one. 128518

Service was a bit off. We were the only customers but it was hard getting their attention and they were a bit slow. Buti masarap yung onion rings and burger!!! 128541

Burger was "A" okay! The meat's juices were overflowing as you try to grip their overloaded burgers. Will definitely comeback for more.

8cuts burger formerly Burger Bar and it was located in Greenbelt before. Actually we were not quite satisfied in Burger Bar because of the lousy burger, but since I've heard lots of good reviews in 8cuts so we decided to try it.

My bf and I are fond of cheese, so we ordered their Four Cheese Burger, it was so tasty, you can define the taste of the Four Cheese. Their Onion Rings was so good and crispy, the best Onion Rings I've tatsed so far. We also tried their Fish and Chips which was also crispy yet quite salty for me, but their fries was good. I just ordered the typical Root Beer Float, since it's been ages since the last time I've tried this one.

We were satisfied on their servings and the taste. Price is justifiable.

Love love loved this place! The facade is very chill. Even the place is chill! Cool.
There's a variety of burger patty choices as well as the burger sandwich themselves. I ate the piggy! That above is the piggy. Hahaha. And oh their Red Velvet cake shake is heaven huhu. Fries is also yummy!!!

It's fatteningly delightful!

Saturdate with the family coz it’s the mother’s birthday weekend. I haven't eaten a burger for the past two months, I think, and I suddenly found myself craving for one last Saturday. When my mom asked where we wanted to eat while waiting for our ID pictures to be printed, I suggested 8 Cuts. Glad they all agreed right away. I bet they were happy that I didn't suggest a salad place. Haha! We arrived 10 minutes before they open, and we had to wait till it’s 11 am before they allowed us to come in.

While the parentals opted for a 1/3 pound cheeseburger and the sister sticked to her favorite Piggy Burger, I just wanted a plain, beefy burger so I got a Burger No. 3.

Buns + House blend patty + Sauce number 3. The burger was so good! 128165 The patty was not too greasy, although I noticed it was smaller compared to when Burger Bar/ 8 Cuts was just new. Every bite was oozing with beefy goodness. Glad they didn't put too much sauce so it doesn't overpower the taste of the patty. I forgot to request that they don't put onions.

My parents and sister were happy with their burgers too. My parents liked the slightly tangy and spicy sauce number 4. Oh, and they loved the skinny fries too. Freshly cooked, crisp and not oily. Too bad I can't have that. Pfft. 128530

I have heard many things about 8 Cuts Burger Blends many of which are positive reviews. Metro Manila can never really have enough burger joints as they all come in different shapes, sizes, tastes, and prices.

8 Cuts Burger Blends, or simply 8 Cuts, has done a phenomenal job introducing itself to the market of meat-eaters and I am not surprised that they continue to have a steady flow of customers due to the consistent quality of their food.

I like my burger plain and simple and fortunately, my server knew just what to recommend. I love how the juices of the burger naturally come out at first bite, and because they use 100% REAL beef, the aroma of their burger patties was heavenly to me.

My only gripe is that the patties at 8 Cuts are quite small. In my opinion, it would have been better if the patties are a bit bigger than the bun. Nevertheless, 8 cuts serves burgers that are of good quality and I recommend you give them a try. Also, don't forget to get their onion rings!

Cheers,
Mickey

The piggy is a must try!! Super yummy and delicious! 128523
Although its a little hassle that they don't have a comfort room because you have to go all the way to the other side just to wash your hands (the burger's oil canno bet avoided) haha.

I ordered a piggy and It was awesome! And the onion rings, one of the best that i ever had. But what made me rate this place 3 stars was the incident that i had at the very end of my meal. This server cone touched(kinalabit) me and said your change. Maybe i was over reacting but is that the proper way of giving a change? I mean im paying a service charge and thats what i get? It was really rude for me. Anyway the food was great and i would still give this place a shot. 8 Cuts Alabang Town Center...

I think it's a bit pricey. The price doesn't meet the taste that much. Burgers were fine but the wings got me flyin' haha. It was good. If you're on your burger list and wanna try this one out, it's not bad :)

I got to know 8cuts due to its popularity in social media. A lot of people posting it, commenting how good burgers here are and keep on coming back. So one day i planned to try and see what the fuss is all about. I ordered just the basic stuff to fully check if their patties is really that good, cheeseburger with fries and soda. Oh boy, one bite and it's so good. You can really tell that the patty are made up of pure beef, it's so juicy. Their fries is amazing too! Service is superb128076 no wonder everyone keeps on coming back to have their burger fix.

Today May 28, was International Hamburger Day. But 8Cuts didn't know, so there were no discounts, free beers or balloons. Nothing, nada, zilch.

But my Pighead Burger was good. I know that there are some folk that will use a knife and fork to eat a burger, but, but, well those guys are simply missing out on one of the best bit about eating a nice juicy burger: licking fingers. The Pighead is juicy! Those fingers will be licked.

All washed down with a brace of San Mig Pale Pilsener on tap.

Happy International Burger Day!

(8cuts, can I get a discount now? Please?)

Will never go back here again. Maybe because I'm not a burger lover but the patty was too greasy. We ordered 1/3 classic cheeseburger, 1/3 piggy, onion rings and skinny fries. Everything were greasy. Not a healthy place. 128556128517

After a gruesome period of dieting, burger bar is just what I needed to satiate my craving for MEAT!

But what really topped it off was this amazing CHEESECAKE IN A JAR! Creamy, fruity, and delicious. I can't do this dessert justice. You really just have to try it.

Our favorite manager, GBoy, runs the restaurant so precisely, to ensure our orders are correct and we are happy. Now that's what you call customer service.

Make sure you ask for the frequent customer card! The more you go, you earn stamps/punches to get a complimentary burger!
