Hey if you love 8Cuts Burgers and Ooma, they collaborated to make the newest sandwich in town, Soft Shell Crab 'Wich.

While waiting for a friend, I decided to have my breakfast at 8Cuts. Then I remembered that starting today, for a limited time only, 8Cuts will be serving Soft Shell Crab sandwich (299php). I was very excited while ordering as it's a partnership with Ooma. My other favorite.

While waiting for my order to be served, I munched their delicious onion rings (70php). I think they serve the best onion rings - crispy, well-seasoned and big serving!!!

After a few minutes, my sandwich arrived. AND IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL. The melted mozzarella cheese was mouth watering. Served in their brioche bun, this soft shell crab sandwich is layered with mango salsa, lettuce, and aioli. It's interestingly different from the beef burgers 8Cuts is known for, but this sandwich can compete. It's generally good in taste, with lots of crab meat. It's good to try!!!

I just find the mango salsa a bit sour for the sandwich. 128539

The service was fast in this visit despite a lot of curious diners trying this as well.

P.S. I did not see this in their menu and no poster and all in the restaurant about this sandwich. Just ask the server if it's available. 128069

8 Cuts changed their menu last year. You now only get to choose between 2 kinds of patty - gras-fed or houseblend. The houseblend as they say is juicier and has more fat which brings you to the grass-fed which is leaner (and mostly only semi-health-conscious people would order).

You still get to choose your favorite combination (peeking in the photo is a quarter pound Piggy) but you DEFINITELY have to order their Onion Rings. They now offer it in buckets as well and that would be perfect when you're in a group.

Piggy is very straightforward with the taste plus the bun has been heated with butter on it and you can really taste it. The combination is very sinful, hello, patty, bacon, and your buttered buns (hehe)?! Add some onion rings and finish off with soda and all the gym buffs will resent you!!! Aaaahhh... So good.

Though I'm not very happy about how you can no longer customize your burger (I've always hated buns with sesame seeds 128542) or how you can't order a burger with fries and a drink as a meal (wtf)... I still come back for their burgers! 🤤

I always get the cheeseburger without any veggies (buti na lang they still allow vegetables to be taken out 🙄) cause I like my burgers clean and without any greens to distract me from the burger goodness. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I also tried their turtle sundae pie and LOVED it!!! 128557

Can't wait to go back! 127828 I hope they also take out the sesame seed from their buns!!!!!!!! 128560

Oh wow! When did 8 cuts change its' menu? 128561 My last visit to any one of their branches was during the early part of this year...

They have streamlined their extensive menu-- sticking to their more sellable items and improving some of their specialty burgers... They simplified the choice of patty (I have always felt it was unnecessary since most of us don't really know the difference between the cuts) and now just offers two kinds: house blend or grass-fed... They also removed items that we won't miss--like the sauce no 4... 128540

Some burgers got a makeover-- some more recent than others, like the Hangover 2.0, the Four Cheese 2.0, and the Bar Burger 3.0... Some got simpler names like Shroom from a previous Rising Shroom. Some were scraped and completely replaced like the blue cheese burger into the Frenchie. Others stayed the same, just the way they are. 128521 Unfortunately, the option to turn your burger into a meal (with fries and drink) didn't make the cut. You only have ala carte options now. Hmmm, and I think that's about it for the major differences I have noticed.

Another striking difference for me was the improved efficiency of this branch. Our waiter was just the right amount of friendly and provided proactive service. Our food was served fast and hot off the grill.

I have noticed during previous visits that the food tasted slightly off somehow. But I must say that the food was spot on during this visit!128077 My fiance had their classic cheeseburger. I had the Frenchie, which had caramelized onions, a bechamel gruyere sauce, fried shallots, and horseradish aoili. I must say that I can't say anything bad about this burger! I loved every bit of it!128525 The sauce was great! The onion and shallots combo was a winner, adding sweetness to the creamy sauce! Love!

We also shared skinny fries and onion rings. They ran out of wedge fries last night, so boo-hoo. Those onion rings are still the absolute best!

So surprised at the improvement of this branch! But, yey!128515

P.S.
My fiance said that Carlo someone was there... An actor but I forgot who... I guess that was the cause of some commotion at some point. #ireallydontcare

We were looking for a place to dine for Sunday lunch and my dad asked to go to somewhere that serves "light meals" because we were gonna do Dine in the Dark early in the evening. So we ended up here. Hahaha 128569 Oo, dahil walang kanin, light meal na. 128569 I've dined here a couple of times but I still love it because of the burgers and of course, the ONION RINGS! Plus the fact that this is only in Manila still gets me excited coming home from Cebu. Also, Spot.ph just released an article on the new products they recently added on their menu. 128571

My mom and dad shared a 1/3 Pound Frenchie which has Caramelized Onions, Bechamel Gruyere, Fried Shallots and a slap of Horseradish Aioli. I didn't get to try this, because I got shy to ask them, especially that they just split the burger in half. 128569 They did look like they enjoyed it a lot. My sister ordered the Four Cheese 2.0 which she also really liked but eventually was unable to finish because of "umay". I liked this burger a lot when I had it, but yes it can be a challenge to finish. But still, this is a really good choice for the cheese fanatic! 🧀

I would've ordered the sliders but I wanted to do this when I'm with my boyfriend. Wa-poise, I know. But we love food, and it would be nice to try more flavors for a mini food crawl with him soon. 128568 Instead, I went for The Bar Burger 3.0 and man was it delicious! It was so messy to eat though, but I really enjoyed this burger! 127828 It had beer cheese, fried shallots, pickled onions, house-made smoked bacon, pineapple pico, sauce no. 3 and Pommery Mustard Aioli. It's like they put together this burger just for me with all my favorite things! Perfectly cooked, the patty was so juicy and very flavorful! And the sauces that with it made it explode so much flavor! The sesame bun was wonderfully buttered and slightly toasted. Ansarap, grabe! 128571128571128571

We were supposed to share a Bucket of Onion Rings (yes, they have it now) but we opted for the regular plate instead just because we wanted to to try the Sour Cream Onion Rings and they were delicious too! Still the same awesome onion rings with a new powdered flavoring but equally delicious! I'm so glad they keep on improving on their craft even as they are consistently doing great already! 128077🏼

BTW, I drank my weight in the unlimited Arnold Palmer because it was absolutely delicious too! 128568 Theirs is probably my favorite Iced Tea and Lemonade in one ever! 128571

I can't wait to come back! 128571

Always a good choice to get Cheeseburger No. 3 whenever I don't want to think of what to order. Juicy patty and perfectly toasted bun.

At first I thought the serving will be a quarter pounder burger because of its price. But it tasted great for its price and did not disappoint.

This is my first time to visit 8 cuts trinoma, I ordered cheeseburger, skinny fries pimp with sub atomic bacon and cheese and molten chocolate for my dessert.

They also have a promo "Happy Hour" from 3pm-6pm daily
*Combo 1 Cheeseburger with skinny fries and Iced tea
*Combo 2 Cheeseburger and Iced tea

Servers are very accommodating, they are quick to refill your water glass without having to flag the staff down everytime you need to be topped off.

Keep it up will surely come back soon and i will recommend 8 cuts to my friends.

The service here sucks! We came and nobody greeted us at the door to accommodate us. Since it's a small place and easily filled, we settled for the table first near the grilling area. The manager promised to transfer us to a better area if one becomes available. 3 tables were freed up then a couple of guests arrived. The server who was cleaning up the used tables suddenly prioritized the one who came after us w/o the manager coordinating it with his servers. The next available table again was being given to another guest who came third. I'm beyond pissed off! Honestly, they lack customer service training here. Megamall branch is way better and they have a bigger place compared to this and still have excellent customer service unlike, Trinoma branch which truly can't seem to handle customer traffic.

As for the food, it's superb! However, if they continue to give lousy customer service they'll be losing clients. I hope their management gives us customer service satisfaction equivalent to the food they serve.

8 Cuts is definitely one of my favorite burger joints in the metro. On a random Tuesday, my parents took me to a movie they picked, so I got to pick where we would eat for lunch after the movie. I chose 8 Cuts.

I ordered the Four Cheese 2.0 and I absolutely loved it! I love cheese, and this super awesome cheesy burger is an excellent version! What I loved most about their burger is the Parmesan Crusted Mozzerella! OMG super sarap! I also loved how the beef patty was cooked, medium rare, super juicy, perfectly seasoned, and very flavorful. This is definitely a burger I'd go back for.

My parents shared the Chickie Bang 'Wich. They chose the not spicy sauce. I got to try this too and it was great as well! It was a huge sandwich with a wonderfully crispy fried chicken fillet, perfectly cooked and tasty! Again, I'm coming to the conclusion that I like Chicken Sandwiches and theirs is awesome too! My parents also shared an order of their Caramel Vanilla Bread Pudding! It was delicious! A tad too sweet for my dad, but I actually enjoyed it.

Of course I wouldn't miss a meal in 8 Cuts without having their super affordable, absolutely awesome Onion Rings. Always a favorite, I can eat these bad boys everyday!

I can't wait to come back!

We're the last-minute-grocery-shopping type so we rushed to Trinoma last Holy Wednesday, since most of the malls in the Metro are going to be closed from Thursday to Friday. Aside from this, the scorching heat was unbearable so staying inside the mall when the sun is on its full blast is the best idea.

The restaurant choice for the day was Chinese restaurant or burger place. I opted for burger since it's been a long time since my last one. So, 8 Cuts it is! I was really excited for the onion rings. 128077🏻

Next struggle for the day was on which burger to choose. I've tried maybe 4 of their burgers and I was too lazy to make a burger of my own. After more than five minutes of reflection, I finally chose their Four Cheese 2.0, first because I like cheese, and second because the 2.0 got my curiosity and the details about the burger were just stuck on its previous place. There must be something new about it. Can't actually point what in particular since I haven't tried this before.

The appetizers we chose were onion rings (of course) and mozzarella sticks. Onion rings were yummy as usual. Their batter plus the drizzle of barbecue powder was a great combination. Consistency on how they keep it crunchy is commendable. Mozzarella sticks on the other hand, were good but not "wow-so-good" good. I'd suggest you eat it right after they serve it to experience the sticky cheese thing. Haha!

Now the burger was so good! The sesame buns were soft and good. Four Cheese 2.0 came with their Beef Bomb Blend patty, yellow cheddar, monterey cheese, parmesan crusted mazzarella, garlic aioli, and topped with fried basil. Cheese-overload plus the mozzarella being fried and feel like a 'second patty' plus the three other cheese-s added more texture and yum factor. 1/4 pound costed 255 bucks and it was not bad! You may opt for the 1/3 pound for 315 pesos. Fried basil added an awesome contrast to the overall taste, btw!

One thing that I did not like about this branch though was the lack of washroom inside. Using your hands to eat the burger will sure be messy, good thing they let guests use the sink inside their "bar" or kitchen area, which was obviously weird. Haha! Overall, it was a good experience and I will surely be back!

Almost forgot, there's a new | looloo contest to go crazy about. So, may the gods of randomness be with me 128514
