Been meaning to eat burger for the longest time but because diet, must find the perfect timing and excuse to eat one. 128521

It was a very very stressful week and there's nothing more comforting than a good burger to end the week (and to somehow feel better), right?? YES YES YES!! 🤗127828

Right after a meeting, Ony and I went here for late dinner slash (almost) midnight snack. 128518

We usually order just the CHEESEBURGER because it's simple yet so good. It's one of my favorite burger. No fail talaga! 128521💯

But since we needed that extra comfort, we decided to try the FOUR CHEESE 2.0 burger and of course, our favorite ---- the forever yummy and awesome ONION RINGS. The best!!! 128155128155

127828 FOUR CHEESE BURGER. Parmesan crusted mozzarella, sharp yellow cheddar, Monterey jack, sauce #3, Garlic Aioli, and Fried Basil.
- This was just okay huhu. Was hoping it to be loaded w so much cheesy goodness but sadly wala. Not as cheesy and comforting. 128542 The crusted mozzarella was kind of disappointing since there wasn't that much cheese inside. Puro crust na di naman lasang parmesan. 128563128530 We should have ordered the cheeseburger instead. Sayang, the patty was tasty and juicy pa naman. ☹️

128155 ONION RINGS to the rescue!!!!!! Must must order. Still haven't tried the one w Sour Cream powder because we simply just couldn't resist the original. 128518 Also, just recently found out that they also have the spicy BBQ flavor. 128521

SERVICE was good. Despite us coming in late, the servers were still accommodating and extra energetic. Service was fast too. 🤗

Food was great! Burgers were satisfying, I love cheese, so I recommend their Four Cheese! we'll surely be coming back! Also loved the onion rings and Fish and Chips.

Service was GREAT! Shout out to our servers John and Roy! They made sure we are assisted well.

The place is also hospitable and relaxing.

Sorry for the photos though, we forgot to take a pic of the burgers. Excited much. 128514

Choice of music's fun! You'll enjoy your stay.

88-peso anniversary sale! Just for today, until supplies last.

Came in at 1115, was seated in 5 mins. I guess it pays to be by yourself. Line is just building up here in Serendra.

They have a few rules, like max of 2 burgers, not leftovers or else you'll get charged the full price.

Dahil wala na ako masabi, here's an Ode to a Cheeseburger by Zachary.eller13.

Cheeseburger, my cheeseburger,
O’ how I love thee.
Thy juicy, meaty flavor tells me:
“Take another bite.”

At first I think ‘no’;
But then I shout ‘YES!’
And I sniff your deliciousness,
Relishing your pickle relishy smell.

I listen to your warmth,
I hear you scream
You look at me; I look at you.

I then chomp down into you,
With your outer bun,
And your inner mustard and meat.
O’ and how could I forget the cheese?

O’ thou delicious cheese,
Eternal companion of the burger.
How thy cheesiness melts in my mouth.
Thy cheesiness and tastiness are too much!
I must take a sip of my Dr. Pepper!

I take my sip and see;
‘OH NO!’ there is only one bite left.
I stare at it relishing this moment,
I eat the last bite.

O’ cheeseburger you are now in my stomach;
I wish I still had you with me;
O’ my love, I will never forget your mouthwatering taste;
It was fun while it lasted…

Now where did I put those fries?

One of my favorite 8 Cuts branches, Serendra is a great place to chill, have drinks, get a great burger and one of the best-ever onion rings in town. It also helps that you've known their manager since his days as bar manager of Burger Bar in Greenbelt (now also an 8 Cuts), so they're even friendlier than usual. And the staff remember my name too, which was unexpected but surprisingly pleasant. 128522

I took my wife there right as I landed from the airport and went home. Ganon ako ka craving for 8 Cuts onion rings. 128514

When we got there, I ordered the Soft Shell Crab 'Wich for her to try and we also added 4 Cheese 2.0 Sliders. They've now solidified the cuts into 2, Beef Bomb and Grass Fed. Basically, the Beef Bomb is juicier while the Grass Fed is leaner and, I guess, healthier. We tried one grass fed and two beef bombs for the Sliders. I'm sure comparing the 2, I prefer the Beef Bomb hands down.

The 4 Cheese 2.0 had a nice touch with the Mozzarella in a crunchy top layer like a thin hash brown. Admittedly while the sliders provided a great choice, it was too pricey at P455, while we should have just gotten the 1/4 pounder 4 cheese 2.0 at under P300 instead. 127775127775127775127775

The Soft Shell Crab 'Wich was not as satisfying as in Ooma BGC, still pretty good, but not as great. What needs improvement? More sauce, better salmon skin crunchiness and more toasted mozzarella cheese, I think. 1277751277751277751/2 (relative to the Ooma version, so they have to improve consistency across 8 Cuts and Ooma).

Onion Rings still the bomb at 127775127775127775127775127775 (too bad they ran out of sour cream powder but their bbq one is ever so reliably great!). Their commissary made garlic aioli isn't as good as before when it was made in stores. Attention: Moment Group owners! 128559

Other scores:
> Dine In Service: 127775127775127775127775127775 excellent. G-Boy their manager is great, gave me complimentary onion rings and even made us try their new Turtle Pie sundae dessert. OMG, their desserts are so good plus their milkshakes too. The turtle pie was a good 127775127775127775127775 but maybe the turtle pie cuts should have been more chocolatey and solid than marshmallowey.
> Kitchen service: 127775127775127775127775 (the burger took a while than usual).
> Value for money: 1277751277751277751/2 only coz the P455 for the 4 Cheese Sliders was quite high for my taste. Otherwise it'll be 4.5 stars.
> Ambience: I'm partial to the diner design, good and new decorations. 127775127775127775127775

VERDICT: 8 Cuts Serendra is a great place to have that diner experience, while enjoying what, for me, is the best burger, my top 2 onion rings, among the best milkshakes and a nice place to hang out.

Happy International Women's Day to all the awesome and amazing looloo ladies! 128153 And to celebrate IWD, we had dinner here awhile ago. Hooray for "holidays" because we have a "reason" to eat out hahaha! 128541

Been meaning to try the new sandwich ever since they first announced this so the first thing we ordered was this new item.

I've only eaten soft shell crab once (Krusty's Funeral @ Wrong Ramen) and I LOVED IT which is why I was soooo excited to try a sandwich/burger version.

8cuts x OOMA? Burger and soft shell crab?

Apparently, you can. 128563128563128563

It was okay BUT Reality vs. Expectation.

The crab was too small.
No explosion of awesome flavors.

Seen and read a lot of really good reviews online saying that this is so DELICIOUS, SOLID, YUMMY, "BEST COLLAB EVER", etc.... but but. 128557 Not sure if it's just me or there's just nothing super extraordinary about this sandwich. It's good but not OMG I CANNOT, I WANNA CRY!! 128566

I guess I expected too much... only to be disappointed. Makes me wonder if the taste is different if you buy from 8cuts or Ooma. Or in other branches. 🤔

Moving on..... It's good that we still ordered our usual orders so it was still a pretty good dinner. 128521128517

CHEESEBURGER (195php) 127828

Classic cheeseburger. This is our all time fave burger order here at 8cuts. Slightly toasted but still soft brioche bread, juicy beef patty, tomato slices, onions, lettuce, and cheese.

Simple and delicious. Only the good stuff. 128076🏼

Hands down the BEST TASTING ONION RINGS in the whole wide onion-verse!!! 128155128155

SERVICE was just kind of inconsistent. Kuya was nice while ate was not. 🤔 Would have been a great experience if ate was only nice and not always in a hurry. 128530

I always order burgers that has mushroom in it so I got their Rising Shroom burger described as "mustard-fried quarter-pounder steak cut blend patty of sirloin and chuck with fried oyster mushroom, white truffle creamed cheese and sauteed mushrooms all on a Kaiser Roll." single patty which costs 280php.

I love the taste of the truffle dressing and the Portobello mushroom with crunchy spinach tempura on top. The beef patty tastes good. However everytime I'm cutting the burger the paper liner is also tearing apart. I was a bit of cautious to avoid eating the paper and the patty altogether lol! 128534 We also ordered their crinkle cut fries (crisscut) which costs 55php. At first I though the serving was too small but realized that its more than enough if you're pairing it with a burger.128517

Service was also fast and they are very attentive in refilling our glass of water. Be prepared to smell like a smokin burger once you get out. I guess that completes the whole burger experience haha! 128514128076🏼

128561128561128561 They changed their menu! 128561128561128561

No longer can you pick between different types of meat - they now have just two: grass fed or their meat blend. And they don't have the Boss Burger anymore.

This doesn't bug me as much though as I order their spaghetti. Nyahahah joke.

I normally just get the simplest burger: patty plus lettuce. Which may be why I didn't like the burger I got today. It had too much of their sauce number 3. ☹️️ Next time I'll just get it without the sauce.

Fries were good. Nothing special though.

Plus 1 star though for the 90s playlist! From New Radicals to Len, I wanted to stay longer to hear more songs. 9786

8 Cuts will always have a place in my heart 128525... And stomach. 128523

I've not been to my favorite burger place since June in MOA branch. Despite my proximity in BGC to their Serendra branch, somehow living here hadn't allowed my usual 2 - 3x a month visit here. I'd been a huge regular to the original Burger Bar (8 Cuts' predecessor and first ever branch). With its casual atmosphere and diner-inspired interior, it had become my go-to place with friends and colleagues when I worked near Greenbelt, and then subsequently at 8 Cuts MOA branch, when my work took me further south.

I mean, who could resist Burger Bar / 8 Cuts with their 5 different beef cuts (beef bomb is my favorite), best in class onion rings, warm service and decent price? Right? I also would drink my beer there instead of the dark noisy places suited for the younger folks looking to meet and party instead of chatting and enjoying company. Once I even ordered a bottle of wine from next door Barcino and they allowed it. That's how much of a regular I was to Burger Bar, and how accommodating they are. Plus they rewarded my patronage with free onion rings (w/ a free of charge switch from mayo to garlic aioli as the dip) or, when I would reciprocate their love by bringing in many friends and my teammates many many times, we'd get free dessert, too! Awesome service with awesome burgers and onion rings. Going here also brought to my attention the concepts initiated or brought here by the Moment Group. Namnam (now Manam) downstairs of Burger Bar, Ooma (one of my top fave Japanese restos) and Din Tai Fung, to name a few of their top restos.

I missed out on 8 Cuts' anniversary / birthday P88 promo last Wednesday, but I'd been craving for their best in class cheeseburger. So the evening of the following day, after an intense badminton game, I wanted to reward myself of the classic cheeseburger. 1/4 lb patty goodness for P195. (1/3 lb is P265). Burned calories bye bye! 128514

Some notable changes:

From 5 cuts like the beef bomb, steak cut or flank, 8 Cuts has simplified its US Angus patties to 2 types,

> House blend - juicier, mixture of brisket, short rib and ribeye
> Grass fed - leaner choice, with a combination of sirloin, round tip flank and shirt plate

I went with House Blend which is closer to the juicy Beef Bomb. They've made some more changes since September. Sliders, a few more dishes (check out spot.ph's article at http://www.spot.ph/eatdrink/the-latest-eat-drink/68057/8-cuts-new-menu-a30-20161011 for more details) and a nice flavor twist, based on the article, on the onion rings (sour cream!).

The basic cheeseburger is comfort food for me. Quality comfort food. The cut is slightly different tasting, but only just. I liked everything else. About the only complaint I had was from the cider dipped raw onions at the bottom. I don't like my onions on burgers raw. So that's something I've got to be mindful about next time I return. The streamlining of burger cuts and even the (128547) previous elimination of the brioche and (my fave) kaiser Bun options, I get. But the changing of the onions, I don't get.

I think that the staff should ask if the customer is a returning customer so they can take him through the changes they've made and the new additions, too.

But in the grand scheme of things, it's just minor. I woofed down my burger with ease, as the onion rings, too, fell by the wayside. They changed their garlic aioli in appearance and taste, too; thank God they didn't charge me for the added dip. Perks of being a regular, perhaps.

And thanks for the compli onion rings, G-boy and John. You guys rock! See you again, 8 Cuts. Sooner, I am certain.

I have always been a big fan oF 8 Cuts ever since I tasted their Piggy at the Megamall branch. On days when I am not very hungry and too lazy to use a knife and a fork, their plain Burger is enough for me. At P155 for 1/4 pound, not bad na! You can choose between House Blend and Grass Fed for your patty.

Their onion rings and skinny fries are awesome as well! 128076🏻 Aside from their Piggy & plain Burger, I also love their 4 Cheese and Hangover!!! Haha! So many things to love about this place. Heart-heart.

PS: Prior to eating at 8 Cuts last night, we also ate at 8 Cuts Greenbelt last Sunday. Lol. 127839

BEST ONION RINGS IN TOWN!!! I cannot!! 128525128525 You have to order this!! Must must!!! 128076🏼

Though a lot of other burgers are available, with lots of add ons and toppings, Ony and I will still order the Cheeseburger. Always! It's simple -- just with lettuce, tomato and cheese yet so good and tasty! Bread was super soft as well. Too bad Sauce No. 4 is not available anymore. If you want it spicy, you'll need to request for hot sauce. Oh well.

I also tried the Fish and Chips (replaced the usual fries to waffle fries) and it was just okay. Fish was tender but was kind of bland.

My friends tried the Chocolate Milkshake, Hangover Burger and Cheeseburger and they enjoyed it. The Milkshake, according to them, was really good. It was thick and creamy. The Hangover burger looked really good and yummy, I was so tempted to try it because of the egg. Next time, I shall try that one. 128518

Service was a bit off. We were the only customers but it was hard getting their attention and they were a bit slow. Buti masarap yung onion rings and burger!!! 128541

8cuts burger formerly Burger Bar and it was located in Greenbelt before. Actually we were not quite satisfied in Burger Bar because of the lousy burger, but since I've heard lots of good reviews in 8cuts so we decided to try it.

My bf and I are fond of cheese, so we ordered their Four Cheese Burger, it was so tasty, you can define the taste of the Four Cheese. Their Onion Rings was so good and crispy, the best Onion Rings I've tatsed so far. We also tried their Fish and Chips which was also crispy yet quite salty for me, but their fries was good. I just ordered the typical Root Beer Float, since it's been ages since the last time I've tried this one.

We were satisfied on their servings and the taste. Price is justifiable.

It's fatteningly delightful!

Saturdate with the family coz it’s the mother’s birthday weekend. I haven't eaten a burger for the past two months, I think, and I suddenly found myself craving for one last Saturday. When my mom asked where we wanted to eat while waiting for our ID pictures to be printed, I suggested 8 Cuts. Glad they all agreed right away. I bet they were happy that I didn't suggest a salad place. Haha! We arrived 10 minutes before they open, and we had to wait till it’s 11 am before they allowed us to come in.

While the parentals opted for a 1/3 pound cheeseburger and the sister sticked to her favorite Piggy Burger, I just wanted a plain, beefy burger so I got a Burger No. 3.

Buns + House blend patty + Sauce number 3. The burger was so good! 128165 The patty was not too greasy, although I noticed it was smaller compared to when Burger Bar/ 8 Cuts was just new. Every bite was oozing with beefy goodness. Glad they didn't put too much sauce so it doesn't overpower the taste of the patty. I forgot to request that they don't put onions.

My parents and sister were happy with their burgers too. My parents liked the slightly tangy and spicy sauce number 4. Oh, and they loved the skinny fries too. Freshly cooked, crisp and not oily. Too bad I can't have that. Pfft. 128530

I have heard many things about 8 Cuts Burger Blends many of which are positive reviews. Metro Manila can never really have enough burger joints as they all come in different shapes, sizes, tastes, and prices.

8 Cuts Burger Blends, or simply 8 Cuts, has done a phenomenal job introducing itself to the market of meat-eaters and I am not surprised that they continue to have a steady flow of customers due to the consistent quality of their food.

I like my burger plain and simple and fortunately, my server knew just what to recommend. I love how the juices of the burger naturally come out at first bite, and because they use 100% REAL beef, the aroma of their burger patties was heavenly to me.

My only gripe is that the patties at 8 Cuts are quite small. In my opinion, it would have been better if the patties are a bit bigger than the bun. Nevertheless, 8 cuts serves burgers that are of good quality and I recommend you give them a try. Also, don't forget to get their onion rings!

Although its a little hassle that they don't have a comfort room because you have to go all the way to the other side just to wash your hands (the burger's oil canno bet avoided) haha.
