I've been to this Japanese restaurant twice and on both occasions it was to watch a Pacquiao fight live! This place used to be called Hotaru and has since changed to A-un.
It's not nearly as crowded as viewing the fight at a sports bar, no entrance fee, and all you need to do is order any of their Pacquiao fight set meals. Only thing is, you'll be watching the live telecast on the Wowow channel with Japanese commentary haha. But that's no biggie for me, and watching along with the Japanese community and seeing them cheer for the Pacman can get quite amusing!
The food was just alright. Nothing too outstanding but still enjoyable. The first time around i had the katsuni set which was a tonkatsu fillet cooked in egg and sweet soy sauce. The set came with miso soup, a side of mabo tofu, and coffee jelly. My order of gyoza was an additional side. For my second visit i had their ginger pork set (buta kakuni? forgot the name ). The gyoza was good and is what stood out for me. And i did notice that they used Japanese rice.
Though I'd like to try their specialties from the regular menu on a regular day to get a better gauge if I can really recommend this place.
