Our lunch today was a stop over for some authentic cebuano seafood dishes

My owner friend called in for all these dishes ... some are not offered on the menu & all immaculately freshest catch of the day

First time to try whole grilled lapu lapu.. Never expected it to be smoky fresh & likewise sweet with a good meaty texture

Another new fish called lasig was so good when grilled to perfection ... amazing that though simply seasoned dishes can taste such glorious to the palate

Deep fried breaded native chicken liver with innards...a dish I simply love128525

Deep fried breaded native chicken was served too with crisp battered skin & surprisingly moist meat

Puso is a bamboo leaf wrapped cebuano type of rice something like that of suman... but unseasoned , so It's cold ( room temp ) when serve & a little harder than the typical warm rice that I'm use to

Others are ngoyong, sizzling kangkong, sinigang, Halaan soup & more ... common dishes that were all enjoyed by the group

Now... Back to the work table 9786

Seafoods!!! Really good and cheap! Always a fave when in Cebu!

Only complaint is you end up smelling like inihaw as there's no aircon.

It was ok. A bit pricey for a "sutukil" resto.
