Had 1K lechon for take-out. Happy to know that the taste and quality remain the same after my 1st visit. Meat was tender and well seasoned even without the liver sauce. The skin was crispy enough, although some parts, not so much. The liver sauce is okay too.

Finally no need to go all the way to QC to satisfy my lechon cravings. The closest to our place is Elar's, our fave for Manila lechon.
They have a small dining area, about 2 tables. Majority are for take-out.
The lechon meat was tender, tasty and none of that funky piggy taste (if u know what i mean). Skin was crispy!
Although it is "Cebu lechon", they serve it with liver sauce (they make their own not mang tomas), instead of the usual vinegar-soy mix.
Aside from lechon, we also tried their Pancit Puti. It was OK, it has lechon and chorizo toppings.
When it comes to Manila lechons, I'll go for Elar's. But comparing Abel's to the other commercial lechons, I prefer Abel's.
