Only small servings of food.. First, i am not satisfied although the food taste is good with the price doesnt match the servings of the food.

Anyway, i really like the dessert the "Sikreto ni Maria". a vanilla ice cream with some "secret thingy" haha!

Bamboo rice,
bicol express (gulay),
lumpiang ubod (fried and fresh)

Big thumb sa sweet tamarind shake. 128523

It's becoming a habit. Fishing in the morning then lunch here at Abe's. This time we tried their Knockout Knuckles, Laing, Bistek na Bangus and Sikreto ni Maria. As expected everything was great expect for the slow service.

Food was good as always, but service was quite slow. They should have more staff on a weekend. Finally, I was able to order the famous Arobung Kamaru.

Sikreto ni Maria is their highly-recommended dessert and ai want to share with you this picture of that creamy goodness. There is really a secret behind all that great ice cream and I don't want to give out the surprise. So I suggest that you order this and find out what the hype is all about!

The ambience and the food is great. We ordered their rice in bamboo, I suggest get two if you eat a lot and if you are a party of 4 or more like us. We also had sisig which was typical, gising giaing which we all loved, and crispy tadyang. My dad and I also ordered chocolate eh! Thick chocolate drink. The other one is chokolate ah! I should have ordered the other one so we get to taste both. The resto is in a very secluded place but a lot of people travel there to taste the food.

Abe's Farm can be found nearly at the foot of Mt. Arayat. It's a good 2hour ride from Manila and is part of the LJC Group (Cafe Adriatico, Abe, Felt J's). Filipino comfort food ar it's finest! Love the bamboo rice and Bulalo. We also ordered Crispy Tadyang, Gising Gising and Sisig Pampanga. And of course, for dessert, Sikreto ni Maria. We asked our bubbly server, JC, what Sikreto ni Maria is. He said "isa po siyang sikreto (it's a secret)" haha! It's for us to order, and for us to found out. It was delicious! I'm contemplating if I should put what the dish is all about here...

Maybe not. All I can say is that it has ice cream. I believe it's homemade?

For the drinks we got Tamarind Shake (Yum! It's on the sweeter side rather than the sour taste) and Chocolate EH (they're serving 2 types: Chocolate EH is malapot, Chocolate AH is malabnaw.)

All in all, bill is PHP 2,400+ good for 5 very hungry people like us.

The place was too perfect for instagrammin' 9786128536128525. I love the serene, quiet and homey vibe. The food was overly delicious. We had pork binagoongan, kare-kare and pork sisig128536. The Taste is somewhat the same with Abe's at trinoma, however the nice ambiance in the province is still a foactor for me.!! Though it took a while before serving our food, it was okay though because the palce is really jam-packed.

Abe's farm at magalang pampanga serves capampangan dishes and I think it was under LJC restaurant chain.. the place was really cozy!! The bamboo and antique wood rest house gosh..you can feel the nature around you!128522 I think that was the best part of it. We didn't have time to rome around because we need to go elsewhere128546. Basically we just went to dine here. But will try to be back!

We ordered:

Kare-kare
So-so.. actually there's nothing special bout it plus the beef was fatty128530..

Binukadkad na Pla-Pla with Balo-Balo & Mustasa
Overgrown tilapia (really big!) butterflied and fried then served with balo balo relish and mustasa leaves. For me it tasted like dirty water? and I don't know why?..after eating that I really puked.. ewww (sorry..) Tagaytay's version is way and much tastier!

Bulalo
Twas good but I expected more? maybe because I'm used to Tagaytay's bulalo128528

Tokwa't baboy
We're actually craving for it haha! missed Gerry's grill128546. another failure! I asked my sister when I saw the plate. Saan ung baboy jan? haha.. gosh they should just remove the baboy..

Gule Magalang
Stewed vegetables with squash flowers. I think this is the only dish that I liked!

We were in Angeles when my niece thought about this place. Checked out Waze and it said it was about 30 minutes away so off we went. Too bad we got there when it was dark already so we didn't have a chance to tour the farm but the ambiance of the restaurant is worth the long trip (Waze led us to a really narrow road instead of the Angeles-Magalang road) and the same-as-Serendra price. The place is a big bahay kubo with different dining areas so there's a sense of privacy. There's also plenty of lounging spaces and the feeling is really homey and probinsyang-probinsya.

We ordered pako salad and it was fresh and tangy and salty at the same time. For our main course we had sisig, kare-kare, Kapampangan pakbet, adobo ni Ising (fried pork adobo with the sauce and garlic plus atsara on the side) and plain rice. Everything was good! Service was excellent and our waiter was really pleasant. When we asked him what to get for dessert, he recommended Sikreto Maria. When we asked what's in it he said that it's a secret nga so he couldn't tell us. We ended up ordering 2 orders because it was really good. It has mango slices, some suman and other stuff swimming in cream mixed with coconut milk. The sweetness was just right and it was perfect with brewed coffee.

Overall a great experience.

I've eaten at Abe's restaurants but there's something about having the same meals at this farm resort that makes the food tastier and more fun to eat!

We ordered:

Binukadkad na Pla-pla with Buro and Mustard leaves- I LOVE BURO! This is a winner for me. Crispy fish with buro wrapped in mustard leaves. Gah. Sarap!

Crispy Pata- yummy as expected.

Adobong pusit- wow! Couldn't get enough of the tiny squid. Nice bite and very flavorful.

Sinigang sa Bayabas- this was ok. Very creamy bec of the bayabas. Fish was not malansa.

Lumpia- it was ok but did not stood out.

Gising gising- just the right amount of heat and the gata was really fresh.

Pinakbet- was ok. Not memorable though.

Tamarind Shake- yuuuuuuuuum! Perfect for the hot and humid weather!

Sikreto ni Maria- yummy too! Too bad the weather made the ice cream melt so quickly. The suman inside was really good.

Ube Halaya- another winner! I avoided the macapuno. It was too sweet.

Almost everything was so good. Gotta hand it to Kapampangans. They have mastered the art of cooking.

Abe's Farm is quite far from your prdinary food destination place in Pampanga but what will make your trip worth it is that they have delicioso food!

A lot of Filipino food choices but don't forget to order the Sikreto ni Maria dessert! :)
