Behind the wooden door inside Lazy Bastard leads you to this spacious speakeasy. How cool is that?

We had whiskey sour and bombay sapphire on the rocks and I found those to be too overpriced.

Lighting a tad too dark but goes well with the old, classy, 1920s vibe.

Worth checking out.

Where men know what you want, what you need. I'm talking about the bartenders and their drinks, silly! This is the place to be if you're feeling adventurous enough. let the bartenders surprise you.

Cocktails, burgers and hotdogs TO DIE FOR. This is definitely one of my favorite spots to both eat and drink in. I have friends who go here just for the burgers and of course friends who go here just for the alcohol. (Damn alcoholics - oh hey that's me too) :'D I go for all these reasons especially for the more than adequately crafted libations their friendly bartenders serve. Last time we went one of them even put up a magic show!

Not a fan of cocktails but this one's quite good. It didn't mask the taste of Jim Beam Triple Aged 6 Years (first time to try this variant of Jim Beam!), and the frothy topping had this subtle sweetness to it.

Loved the ambiance and the crowd, too.

And kudos to our server for his knowledge on their drinks. He can explain everythiiing haha~

Burger + Honey Parmesan Hotdog Sandwich + Tater Bombs (BAECON BOMBS) 128076128076128076 everything was delicious! Super flavorful! The hotdog sandwich was my fave! I think it's a little bit more expensive served in ABV than it is served in Lazy Bastard, but I really didn't mind! 128522

The drinks were kind of pricey at 300+ per cocktail. 128584 Same price as the food almost, so not so sulit for me. Haha but thinking about paying for the cozy and hipster ambiance makes it more acceptable. 128077

The toilet was problematic lang. Messy and smelly... Wet floor. And I was in sandals. 128557 and parking is not the most exciting thing to think of when going to Jupiter. Haha

Overall, 4 stars. The food is what I'll be coming back for. 128522

Ever thought of learning how to make cocktails and do a bartending stint? Or maybe a different kind of date - a "recreational date" which is actually a good excuse to drink early and impress your date. 128517

Well, one of Asia's 50 Best Bars for 2016 finally started their 2016 Master Class for beginners/ enthusiasts and it's something worth attending!

It was my first time to make my own alcoholic dessert which is an inspired Lemon Meringue drink and I can now make it at home! Thanks to the #abvmasterclass 127864127864

Aha! Found ittt! It's the perfect place for nights you just want to lie low. People started coming in around 11pm, but the place never got too crowded or noisy. I really loved it here and will definitely come back.

Shout out to our server Lester and the bartender! Couldn't decide what drink to get, so they just made me one based on my taste preference. I wanted something vodka based, a bit sweet with a hint of fruity flavor.. but a backstabber! Hahaha. And yep, they delivered! A bit pricey, but worth it. :)

Unmarked, you walk down a flight of stairs and ring a doorbell to get let through the door into a time warp back into a 1920's speakeasy. I really cant recall the last time I went out and had no bad things to say about an establishment. Usually its the crowd that I don't like, the ambiance, the music, the drinks... the list is infinite. Alcohol By Volume or simply, ABV, satisfied everything on my notorious gripe list and then some.

Now that we have that out of the way. The place is really cute inside. Decor is gorgeous and very cozy and most importantly, it's not pretentious or gimmicky considering it's one of those speakeasy bars. All vintage sofas and Edison lights in a Midnight in Paris sorta way, with the furniture having just the right dusty patina touch to seem authentic. The bartender's were friendly, engaging and attentive.

They have a pretty extensive drink menu with lots of exciting looking choices. We went for the Whiskey Sour and White Lady. Both of them were smooth and very well mixed. I would definitely recommend either of them, although the White Lady was sweeter and more cirsp than I expected.

The atmosphere is definitely much more low key than many of the other cocktail bars in the Metro. Great place for a quieter night or a date if you're inclined. Did I mention the drinks were amazing? 128076🏻

Cheers,
Mickey

Another speakeasy bar. This one inside Lazy Bastard. After munching on our burger we drop by the bar to get some booze. The place got a cool classy vibe. Dim light and full collection of whisky. If you are with someone and you want to go out but don't want to be seen. Here is the perfect place for your little rendezvous.128520 Just chill and grab some whisky or cocktails. They also got some beer but quite overprice. Burger from Lazy Bastard are also serve here but at higher price. Service was good and they were prompt. Price of cocktails and whisky was a little pricey ranges from 380 up but its more of paying for the ambience and experience. 128522128077

Pwede ba 10 stars dito!!! 128514128514

A password-seeking cocktail heaven hidden in the basement of a burger place in Makati City!

Designed with an impressive stretch of liquor selections encased in glass, a copper bar with amazing mixologists dressed in longsleeves with tie and suspenders or vest, leather booths, checkered floor, low ceiling and the yellow lights that tied everything together that brings you back to the 1920's the second you pass through the old elevator shaft (hidden behind that big wooden door inside the burger place).

Did I mention that they play jazz?? The old school(vintage) kind of jazz... Yeahhhh...

As I write how (in love I am) well thought and intricately designed this place is, the cocktails were nothing short of marvelous! You are getting what you paid for.

The service they provide is absolutely perfect. The drinks came in right away, the people are attentive, the bartenders were interactive... It's a perfect way to spend the weekend if you're not a party-person like me! 9786️ #exploremanila #cocktailsmanila #wheninmanila #barinabar #saturdaynight

This bar is set to impress. Love the gatsby vibe and the interior. With all the fine liquor they carry, you're bound to be cuirous and hurt your wallet coz a cocktail is around 600 I think but.. Mixed by the bar tender champs! Passowords change and I'm not one to divulge as I intend tl enjoy the secrecy of this place some more. Btw, They have a last man standing rule too! #matiramatibay lol

If you're into the whole speakeasy thing, this is the new It place. It's roomier and 'younger' compared to Blind Pig and not as hipstery as Finders Keepers.

Cocktails are 128076 but on the pricey side, so if you're here for more than 1 drink be ready to shell out at least P700.

What I'd come back for is the Arugula, Parmesan and Honey Hotdog. Super simple, genius recipe! It's also served at Lazy Bastard upstairs but there's something about ABV's brooding vibe that just makes you wanna drown your sorrows in whatever they're serving.

Come on a Monday night to escape the crowds.

Was able to get a table after going back twice 128521last Saturday and the place is really full. ABV is located inside Lazy Bastard, the long live bacon place and I think the burger place is just a front from the sexy, dark and classy place like ABV. Brilliant idea!

You just go straight to the cashier of Lazy bastard and tell her the password and will assist you to the "elevator" which will lead you to ABV.

Got myself a bee's knees which is a mix of bombay sapphire gin, honey and lemon and I thought it is really sour. I asked the server for something sweet and she suggested this one so I don't know, maybe this is the sweetest I can get. Cocktails are a little pricey at 360-420 price range. So just had 1 then transferred to Moonshine.

The unli popcorn is the best thing here and it is free! The servers are really polite while serving and they are all english speakening people! 128541 128586128517

Had a great time here since the place is really posh and dark so you can bring mistresses here and such plus the fact that the place is hidden with a password! 128513128513128513
