Service was really slow. It took them some time to refill the plates and the food.

There are very few food choices. Food tastes okay.

For two consecutive mornings, I had my breakfast at Acaci Restaurant of Acacia Hotel Manila. Standard hotel add on, buffet breakfast for overnight stays. They serve breakfast as early as 6am until 10:30am. I'd like to focus on my second day, at around 8:45am. There was still a line forming because of the busy Mother's Day weekend. Luckily, they had a backup plan to accomodate diners at the ground level (normally reserved for a la carte diners). Service was warm but a little too slow because of the large crowd. Some requests are forgotten such as coffee refills or plate changes.

They have a wide array of breakfast items but the ones that I really loved are the following:

Glazed Ham - I'm not a fan of ham but this made me eat more than my fair share. It was soft and flavorful. The added glazed sauce was such a treat. Perfect with warm pandesal.

Corned Beef - perfect shreds of beef cooked in onions and a bit of simmered broth. It looks like my childhood favorite canned brand which is more lovely. Canned or not, this is a winner for me.

English Bangers - right snap, beefy good sausages with the right amount of spice.

Fish Fillet with sweet & sour sauce - breaded fried fish fillet doused in pickled sour sauce. Soft and plump fish.

Mini Croissants - bite size pieces of flaky good pastry. Added dab of butter is a welcome treat for me.

Honey Wheatgrass juice - I remember Dusit Thani Hotel serves this too! So this is a great addition to the breakfast spread of fruit juices.

Bread Pudding - crusty top and soft center. The vanilla sauce was more like milk in consistency. Would love to have a more thicker consistency for the vanilla sauce.

Ambience was bright because of the glass windows. But they turn off the aircon one hour before closing the morning buffet. And it got really warm in the restaurant really quick. Not a pleasant Mother's Day morning for late diners. We pointed that out to one of the waitstaff who sadly was unable to do anything because of 'procedure'. Overall, it was still a good dining experience before they turned off the airconditioning. Recommended. Just eat early.

Made our way all the way to Alabang just to try Acaci at Acacia Hotel. We got vouchers for their buffet and i couldnt he happier with out visit.

Acaci was spacious, casual, and comfortable. Even though the buffet spread was limited on a Sunday night, there was enough choices to keep us satisfied.

My favourite parts if the buffet were the fresh seafood cooked or grilled to your liking, fresh baked bread, and shrimp and crab cocktail bar.

The service was also excellent! Everyone was attentive and polite.

Prolly the only downside is the regular price for their buffet. I think they need to have more cooked meal choices if they will be charging almost 1800 per head.

Only few food choices even during weekends but we still keep on enjoying their food from breakfast, lunch or dinner. The pastries are good but cannot find any unique from their menu. The staffs are very accomodating & helpful. Definitely we will keep on coming back. 128077🏻

Loved the ambience in this place, which improved my dining experience. i also liked how the place looked "maaliwalas".

I loved their bagoong. I repeatedly went back for more. It went really well with their sitaw.

There are only few sections here, and thus, limited choices. Nevertheless, most if the food tasted good. The tempura sauce was too sweet though.

The cakes are not too good but I did enjoy their palitaw, graham balls and pastillas balls. Those were delicious.

The buffet went with your choice of champagne, iced tea, and other available fruit juices.

The food is okay. I will go back to see their other selections on other days.

Abby M and i have been looking forward to this free buffet in Acaci since early this year. And today, we finally indulged to our fat-ass selves! We had a taste of everything in the buffet table - from grilled fish to stick-o with chocolate.
The meals are good- it's not at par with The Spiral but the food tastes decent. We loved the grilled marinated salmon, grilled chicken, and of course, the wagyu steak 128514
The dessert items look good, and they taste okay. (I just noticed today that it is hard to find a buffet that serves killer desserts except The Spiral.) Nevertheless, the sweets are decent. Not bad.
I felt sad that the drinks do not come free, expect for service water, coffee and tea. But on the flipside, it's a good thing that the drinks come with a price coz i might drink too much if they are free, which will make my tummy fulllll.
Service is okay, there's this one server who is attentive to our needs. Shout out to ate! You're attentiveness is much appreciated 128522
Loved the place, it got good ambience. High ceiling, high windows. Good ventilation.
Had a good experience eating here in Acaci!

Impromptu trip to the south. 128517

Acaci Cafe's buffet lunch for PhP 1298 comes with unlimited champagne but there are only a few food choices compared to other buffet restaurants or other hotels famous for their luxurious buffet spread. You could even say that quality is just average. What's notable though is their impeccable service. Staff were very attentive and very polite.

The cafe is just small which makes you feel comfortable despite its stylish and classy feel. That classy feel ends though once all servers burst out singing their parody versions of popular songs for guests celebrating birthdays or even anniversaries. 128518

Since we are in Acacia Hotel over the weekend, we had their breakfast buffet included in our room stay

Surprising that there were lots of choices. Best ones for me include the bacon and tapa. Their salmon sashimi was also good and tastes really fresh

Waffle and pancakes were a bit of a let down. But the rest of the pastries were good such as the bread pudding and cheesecake bites

The real winner would be the drink choices - they have guyabano, kiwi, honey wheatgrass, and standard orange. My fave was the wheatgrass. They also have fresh honeydew juice and cold-pressed melon and cucumber

Not bad for a hotel breakfast buffet!

Breakfast buffet was okay. There were a good number of dishes to choose from. I love breakfast food but their buffet didn't made me one happy breakfast lover. I asked for one sunny side up egg, they gave me a sad scrambled egg. 128527 The only dish I liked was the tapa or beef steak? Haha it was tender and tasty 128517128513 Fruits available were just melon, watermelon and mango. They were all sweet (in fairness!!). The desserts were just okay. I liked their yogurt!!! 9786️ Service was good (but not consistent).

We had breakfast here over the weekend... I love hotel breakfast buffets! A great way to start the morning...

We were in line by 8am, but the place was already full! Many early risers here! We ended up sharing the table with another couple. To accommodate the number of guests, they have taken over their lobby restaurant as well, but there were more choices at the designated buffet.

We had the usual suspects- garlic rice, bacon and eggs. The French toast and pancakes seemed dry so we skipped that. We also tried their bread and croissant, which weren't too good. They had other choices to satisfy the healthy eater, the Japanese businessman and the Chinese family... They also had watermelon, strawberry and kiwi juice, on top of orange and guyabano flavors... They had champorado, sushi, and seafood choices... Plus they had a lot of desserts, more appropriate for lunch or dinner, but tempting nonetheless...128077🏻

I think the staff really tried to keep up with the endless line of customers and did so with a smile. 128522

Spread was very limited, you can try all in one go. Very different from the dessert area where there was just too many options to choose from.

Most of the food from their main course are quite sweet. However, some still passed my taste bud's standards..
You'd love their confectionary area though.
Breakfast buffet is really good with many food to choose from. One of my fave part is the cereals' area :)

All in all, they need to improve a little more

Had low expectations when we dined here, heard from a previous boss that their food was nothing special.
But as it turns out, what Acaci has to offer is not in the number of viands and dishes in their buffet. Sure, the top buffets in the metro had more than 50-70 selections to choose from, and from a variety of cuisines. But what I want to believe as Acaci's edge is that they only chose a number of dishes so they wouldn't overwhelm the palate of their patrons. If youre looking for a humongous spread, this isnt the place for you. But if you want a cozy and laidback environment in an elegant setting, give Acaci a try. I did, and i found myself appreciating their bread and (ohmigosh) extensive cheese array, as well as their seafood selection.
All in all, i would come back again given the opportunity128516

Not really satisfied with the spread. Everything is a little bit of different cuisines. Almost everything is unremarkable except for their iced tea and tortang talong with crabstick. The desserts are good though.

Food was cold, even the ones that were cooked on the spot then served to your table -- cold.

Plates and utensils weren't washed thoroughly. They were already running out of food at 8pm.

Desserts are fine though.

I can't believe some food bloggers are raving about this place. They should get their taste buds checked.

The Good:
Cheese and Bread Station
Braised Beef
Vinaigrette
Cozy Ambience

The Bad:
Very Poor Service
Limited Choices
So-so Taste
Oily Tempura

Overall, my dining experience would've been okay if my coffee was served with creamer/milk and I didn't have to wait for it until my coffee was already cold. 9749128078
