They say it is very hard to book a room here, I guess it is true because they have limited number of rooms available, about 21 only, I think. In fact, our reservation was made since last year. There were about 15 of us in the family.

We arrived around 2pm which is perfect for check-in time. The resort is gated, very private. The security will confirm first of your reservation before letting you in. Upon reaching the lobby, we were welcomed with shell necklaces and drinks. My cousins are parched so they feel like the welcome drink is a welcome "shot" instead. Well, the glass is not even half full so I can't blame them. 128514

We had a great time eventhough we only spent a night. Below are the highs and lows of my experience.

128077🏼 excellent service, the crews are very attentive
128077🏼 the infinity pool is really nice, providing you a great view of the ocean, the water is a bit warm, size is good enough that you can do laps, there is a kid's pool with a little fountain to enjoy, a small pools with bubble jets too about 3ft deep
128077🏼 there is restaurant in the middle of the pool where you can have drinks and snacks
128078🏼 imported beers at Php250-350 per bottle, i find pricey
128078🏼 i find the rooms too small (good for 2, for Php8100-Php8700)
128077🏼 free kayaking and pedal boating, there are other acivities like banana boat, jet skiing, fly boarding but for an extra charge
128077🏼 safe and secure i think because my brother slept on the bench by the pool with all his stuff and gadget on the side table

The resort is peaceful and quiet. You can feel the privacy. A great escape from city life.

We visited this resort for a day trip last February when our Japanese classmate visited the Philippines for the weekend.

The day trip rate is P2700, which included lunch, an afternoon snack, and a cabana. Lunch that day was buffet and there were a lot of viands to choose from. I love that they have refillable brewed coffee.

The resort was nice and secluded from the crowd. The water wasn't super clear but it was clean. You can borrow their kayak for free but the other water activities like the banana boat and the jet ski cost extra.

What I love about this resort is their infinity pool, which is really nice. There weren't a lot of people that day so we had the pool pretty much for ourselves.

It is pretty pricey but I think it's worth it.

There’s a resort in Laiya that’s being talked about for its beauty and its being an ideal vacation getaway. I agree. Upon seeing their website, I was intrigued. You know how websites always manage to make things appear more beautiful than it actually is.

There wasn’t much to do in Acuatico apart from swimming. There was limited recreational activity and the beach front wasn’t also that good. The sand was kind of coarse and wasn’t as white, but compared to the nearby resorts, Acuatico covers a much bigger space.

Quick getaway from the city and finally we were able to get a room in the much coveted resort acuatico!

We've been hearing about this place a few years back but was never able to visit as they are always fully booked or time never permitted the whole family. But luck was on our side and we were able to get the last of the terraza room!

I have to commend the wonderful app waze for getting us there safely even if my parents consistently doubted if we were going to get there.. Well we did! safely and in one piece! Probably a 3 hour drive from manila and youll even pass by quezon. Thats how far it is.

Check in was supposedly at 1pm but we arrived at 11. Sadly we had to wait as our room was not ready. I rushed to see the very popular swimming pool that everyone seems to be raving about. It wasnt as big as I expected but aesthetically it was so inviting I wanted to jump right in when I saw the blue hues of the pool.

We decided to have late lunch in the oceana restaurant and my family decided to have the buffet lunch which was priced at 600. I opted to go ala carte and have a sandwich instead. Food was good and the choices were commendable as they would have choice of chicken, pork, seafood, and pasta. Dont expect too much thought but for 600 I guess pwede na siya. Service of the waitstaff was also commendable during our overnight stay!

The room we got was mehh. Had a weird layout as the bathroom was situated on the first floor while the room with 2 queen sized beds was upstairs. Kind of odd and difficult especially for the oldies. The bathroom was also very tiny to the point that the shower curtains hugs you everytime you take a bath. Thats how tiny -_- The room wasnt very big but had cable TV and plus points for the wifi that was everywhere in the resort!

The beach is white sand but beware as its not that fine compared to nasugbu but the water of the beach was very clear and relaxing to swim in.

Would I go back? Probably if we get the casita room which is priced the same as the terraza but with two separate rooms and a more conveniently placed bathroom.. But the pool is definitely something to see and experience!

Stayed here overnight for my sister and his fiance's pre-nup photoshoot. Arrived late afternoon and the staffs greeted us a warm welcome. Gave us some pandan juice (refreshingly good!) And accompany us to our room. We reserved one of their casitas. The one assigned to us was the one in the beach front. The room was spacious enough for us three. It also has a veranda overlooking the beach. Checked their swimming pool and damn! It was inviting!!. I think they have the best pool when it comes to design in the area. Thumbs up for the brain behind it. 128077 Availed of their buffet lunch and dinner. Really dont have a choice as there were no restaurants near the vicinity. Their buffet only had few choices (for the price it's not sulit as it already costs same as some of the buffets in manila). They also have a complementary massage for two for every room reserved. We availed it the next day and goodness, didnt noticed i was already asleep while the massage was on going. Good sign that i loved their massage. Hihi Their manager on duty was also nice, she kept on asking how was our stay and if need any assistance dont hesitate to approach her or any of their staff. The beach was clean with powdery white sand. They also offer some water activities. They have a play room with billiards, table tennis, and air hockey. Everyone will love this place. 10084

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The beachfront was amazing. Their infinity pool is one of the best I've seen. We booked the Casa De Playa, which was not as spacious as one would expect, but the view of the beach from the room made up for it. You can engage in watersports also. Overall, Acuatico was amazing. We would definitely go back.

We went here 2 years ago to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary and have been wanting to come back.

We stayed at Casa De Playa which has a perfect view of the beach. Though it's relatively small, the space is just enough for the two of us. Anyway we're not there to stay all day in the room. 128540 It also has a small garden with table and chairs.

What I really love about this place is their breathtaking view of the infinity pool as well as the serenity it provides since they don't accept day tours.

The only thing I did'nt enjoy is the beach since the sand is'nt as fine as compared to other beaches in the Philippines.

Great facilities within the resort. The staff are also attentive and will be more than willing to give you free iced tea and hot water. Coffee was also free during our stay. Expect overpriced menu though. They are also strict with the number of pax inside the room. You have to pay extra for them. Unfortunately the rooms aren't really 5-star. The toilets can be compared to that of the private pool/resorts in Laguna. There are no hygiene kits that you should expect from prime resorts. But their service makes up for the lack of their in-room amenities. Book when they have promo because the normal rates are just too expensive.

Perfect to hold you beach wedding ceremony and/or reception.

Last weekend we assisted a beach wedding in this hip and serene private resort in Laiya, Batangas.

You'll be delighted with their infinity pool, a bar in the center and fountain located in the middle too.

Not just that, their food are good, the staff are all accommodating even the manager on duty who helped us with the event is very welcoming.

This is a place for that quick but well pampered getaway from the city. They can accommodate only few so be sure to secure reservations especially on peak season.

This is the remarkable and distinct spot in Acuatico. I adore the place and would definitely revisit! It is an upscale resort that gives amazing service from the staff down to the delish food on your table. One of the pricy resorts in Laiya but you wouldn't really mind once you see it for yourself! 10084

Great resort, great food, beautiful infinity pool and sunken bar. Downside is that everything is pricey.. The hotel rates, food, drinks. Would give it 5 stars but the rooms with pool access are a bit small, bathrooms are tiny, (these are the most expensive rooms!) and game room and restaurant close really early..

Just a tip: you can order bacon for breakfast for free! :)

We drive to Laiya every year- (for the past 5 years) so we've tried different resorts and Acuatico is our favorite. Their beach front is not as rocky, the Vista De Laiya room is spacious (heard reviews that the rooms near the pool are tiny) and bathroom has a tub with ample space too. Food isn't the greatest but it was ok. We just wished there was bacon for breakfast and there should be more seafood choices as they're beside the beach anyways.

Service wasn't exemplary but nothing to really complain about either. Check in and check out was a breeze. Although it would be nice if they could take care of little details- like personalized welcome letter, turn down service, maybe some good night treats and they could also improve on their toiletries. We paid the same room rate at Movenpick & we got Chopard toiletries! These are details you experience at other resorts that charges the same rate.

They have a game room & a nursery area but who'd want to stay there when there's the beach? We loved their pool and floating bar. The beach chairs were comfortable. They have enough activities you can do- jetski, flying fish, banana boat, kayak etc.

For our next Laiya trip, we may stay here again unless there's another place worth checking out.

What's for dinner???
I started checking out the food. They have pasta bar, although there were only 3 choices of sauce and pasta. Was hoping to see pesto. What made me happy was the mixed seafood gumbas. Amazing alimango (crab), shrimp and squid. The sauce is made up of coconut milk. It was a little bit spicy which livens up your taste buds. The squid was perfectly cooked, soft and tender unlike others where you feel like you're chewing on rubber. The next viand I tried was their beef stroganoff, yummy too. I ate too much! But still ordered pasta, fettuccine carbonara. I was really full and can't move after eating so much. Now i don't have room for dessert. But my mind can't stop wondering... So what's for breakfast??

When we arrived, we were offered their local refreshments, pandan water. It was nice, sweet with a hint of pandan. Great service especially after a long drive. While they were preparing for our hotel room, we waited at the restaurant and enjoyed the view. The beach is really nice, the sun is shining warmly and everyone is friendly! I will definitely go back here. I will review the food later on... Wait for it!!!

A good view of the sea and pool from the second level restaurant of the Acuatico is what would be their edge from the rest of the resort. it's like dining in a restaurant on a hill from the, table side view point.

The space was accented mostly of wood furnitures and table tops from the bar to doors and windows, and it gave you the feeling of having to dine on a rural mood on a high end atmosphere.

when we arrived at the resort our tummies where almost out of tank so we hurried to their restaurant but it was a dismay that they only could serve pizza or have the lunch buffet. booooo! we didn't like both so we just chose to starve. 128557 it was too pricey for us.

but since our stay included a breakfast buffet, we got to try their buffet before we went back to manila. there was a nice ample selection of food, and with most of the resorts here in laiya, which for me was highlighted by the chori burger. the other selections aren't that much of a thing, hotdog, tapa, hash brown, fried bangus and dried fish. thy also have batangas goto and champorado. for those who aren't well versed with the filipino food they'll got your morning pumped with the good selection of bread, from plain wheat to cinnamon and (for me) their star, the freshly cooked waffles. for the vegetarians, they have a vegege salad with different dressings and salted egg for touch of pnoy taste.

Over the various choices, as I've said earlier, their waffles was the winner, moist inside with the complements from the toasted grinds of the waffles. It's was made when ordered, I had not too much competition, so I didn't had to wait long just to get mine. I topped it with home made caramel and maple syrup. it's love 128525128536 I could eat it all day!

the rest of the menu wasn't really a pride. to think that they have a chori burger, yeah that's a unique one. if am not mistaken, chori burgers are from the shore vendors of the island of boracay, grilling their chorizo sausages and putting it sliced on bun is how it get it's name. but to acuatico, it's a different version, they had made a real patty out of the chorizo filling, a good idea, but sadly their version was too floury. their tapa was more like of a beef salpicao because it was in cubes. their hash brown was dry and too oily, the hotdogs were not of a quality an the breads, some where good but most wasn't, too floury again and bland even with them having fillings.

good thing they have an omelet station where you could have the choice what to put on your egg. mine had onions and bacons!!!! tea and coffee is also available along with two different juices to choose.

the staff were very much attentive with our every calls, nice. that was a plus!

Overall, i'd be glad going back to their resort but next time I'll bring my own food.
