Out of curiousity, my sister Aileen P, my dad and I went here for a quick dinner after grocery shopping.

I had the cheese adobo. I think the chicken was fried first. It was a little crispy and dry. It was not bad but also not so special.

We still prefer my mom's adobo. 128513

I ordered Adobo sa Gata because according to the cashier it is the best seller. For 109 pesos you 2 pcs chicken with red sili on top and a cup of rice. But they have Kanin All U Can if you want more carbs.

The dish was ok. I can not say that I can really taste the "gata" or maybe I was drinking a fruit shake even before I had my fist bite of the chicken.

Service was fast. It only took a minute or two after sitting down and my order was served already. But the food is not hot but not too cold so it was ok.

I am wiiling to try other food on their menu next time.

i don't know if it's this particular branch only. but if i'll base may review on the rancid taste of cooking oil, which i suspect is specific to this branch, i would have forgiven the kitchen staff and rate my experience 3 stars. if i would base it on the whole dish, i'd be really harsh and give it 1 star. adobo connection is in fact trying its best to give a modern twist to the classic Filipino adobo dish. however, their modern take are obviously not doing well. one proof is despite their offering of 'kanin all u can', not to many people flock into the restaurant even during lunch and dinner time. unlike mang inasal, which is just a few shops away, they are not as busy. other points to consider with my rating are their staff. you don't see that spark of enthusiasm in each of them. it seems they are being forced to do their job. the place, though new, smells like it's been around for ages. i suspect the staff are not washing their rags before wiping each table. with regards to the food the i ordered (pictured above), their meat doesn't taste like adobo at all. i'm guessing they're just stewing the meat and then pouring the adobo w/ gata sauce on top, which doesn't even taste like adobo as well. the near is dry, plus you get that rancid taste of cooking oil which really turned me off! my wife ordered adobo flakes, which is too dry and looks like its been reheated ten times. it has that sunny side up egg, which is super overcooked as if you are eating rubber. my wife hated it so much that she wasn't able to finish her order. i'm never going back to this place anymore. i'd rather cook and eat my own adobo dish.

Pinoy food with a lot of twists. Adobo connection is the place to be when you want to eat adobo! They have four signature flavors that will surely tickle your taste buds. And they have unli rice as well, for those people who are adobo-addicts or just plain "matakaw".
