Started my Monday food trip at Agave. I'm not a big fan of Mexican food but I must admit it's not that bad. I actually enjoyed it. We got the Southwest Tequila pasta (my favorite) it's quite flavorful for a very simple pasta dish. It has tomatoes, bell pepper, olives and grilled chicken on top seasoned very well. We also had the Grilled Chicken Quesadilla. Loved it. The cheesy-ness just complimented everything inside. We also got the Southwest Potato Skin which is a good choice for starters. Over all everything is great. The service is just a bit slow. I noticed they only have one server and one cook at lunch. But it's all good. And oh! We got a pitcher of strawberry margarita. Delish!

Well for someone who had been to Mexico, I wasn't expecting much from Agave. However, I must commend them for trying hard to get as close to it as possible. The DIY steak and shrimp fajita was ok, but could be better if portions were bigger. I need to taste and feel the meat in every bite. Salsa, good. Guacamole, needs improvement. Chicken quesadilla would be nice if I could find the chicken. :) Chimichanga, hoping for less rice and beans, and more meat. Lastly, margarita. It was ok but...a bit more tequila would have made it perfect! :)

I like the ambiance of the place! Mexican style :) IThere are hanging cute lamps :) love the cheese quesadillas! :D It has the cheesiness that I like. I only had a bite of the beef taco (eaten by my mom) which is good according to my mom. I also like the steak chimichangas! Although it has an umay factor later on :(

Superb Grilled Beef Taco! The salad was slightly spicy because of the Jalapeño but it was perfect!!

Crab and shrimp enchilada. Sorry, bad picure. But if you want to level up on Mexican food, this is the place. They also have unlimited margharitas on a certain day (forgot when). Love this place. 10084

I love how they met my expectations in tasting truly Mexican! The serving is good for sharing but for an appetite as big as our family, it is definitely for one though. Hahaha (takaw much!)

Price range is about Php150-400 per order depending on what you'd like to try. I recommend their Cheese Quesadillas and Steak Burritos. Plus, their Mojito is pretty good too with an option to make it bottomless. Nice!!

Although to get your tummy filled you need to get at least a soup or additional appetizer with your quesadillas and burrito. They also have guacamole but it tasted so-so. Better stick to the salsa if you must.

Staff are friendly and quick in serving the food. If you want something close to the real thing that wont break your budget, this is a must try place.

I haven't been to Southmall for so long. It's changed a lot! I love the Food Street!!!

We went to Agave for merienda. I wasn't really feeling Mexican that day, but I couldn't take a full meal either (for Thai, Jap that's beside it.)

The place looked really nice and, well, Mexican. Love the yellow-dyed walls and dark wooden tables and chairs.

I ordered the Double Soft Flour Taco Beef to share with Sheldon for P270. He ordered the Grande Imported Steak Chimichanga for P435.

I kinda got excited thinking about my order. When it came, I was even happier because it looked really nice and fresh. Only downside to this is it had beans. I hate beans.

Now the Chimichanga, having BEANS and RICE, I wasn't planning on touching. But my husband wouldn't let me out alive if I didn't take a bite. I was really surprised that I liked his order better. I didn't even notice there was rice in the chimichanga because the texture of their red rice wasn't smooth. I thought it was the beef or the bean. And the bean taste wasn't overpowering. It felt like chewing on a nicely-textured burrito without beans and rice. This, I will go back for.

Had dinner at Agave last Sunday -it was newly opened I think. Service was good and food were ok. We ordered Nachos ala carte and the nachos bottomless (we didn't know they gave bottomless like Chilis), calamare, burrito, tacos and quesedilla. Everything was good except the tacos, we didn't expect it to be that way. Good thing was they have free meal for kids during weekends. and serving was big. The not so good thing was the place has alot of mosquitoes. Overall experience it was Ok.
