If you want an affordable yet good Japanese food and you’re in QC, Agezuki is my recommendation for you. The place is not that big and you can choose to dine inside or outside. Eating outside is also okay because it is not that close to the street.

We ordered for Spicy Tuna Maki Roll and Salmon Sashimi for our starters. The maki had just the right amount of spiciness for me but my boyfriend thinks it still lacks a bit. This is probably because I am more sensitive to spicy stuff than him. Despite that, I still liked it because the tuna tasted so fresh. The sashimi is just okay, nothing special. It is also quite cheap - 240 pesos for 10 slices. For our main meal, we only got Beef Teppan and a bowl of fried rice each. Their beef was really tender but some cuts lacked a bit of flavor so I had to dip it sometimes on the sauce provided. I also appreciated the generous amount of veggies. The rice was delicious as well. The serving was enough for me since I wasn’t super hungry. But maybe if I was, one order will not be enough.

I like the Wakame salad, serving size is smaller than what I"m used to but it was quite good. Tofu agedashi was also very good. We had the black mamba, sunshine sushi and california maki. Can"t complain. We paid 945 pesosz

You wouldn't think this place is any good because of its location but my my was it something.

We had some salmon sashimi to get started. It came in 10 pcs for 240. It wasn't the freshest but it was good enough for us to order another set.

We also got 2 bowls of Gyudon. One my sister and mom shared and the other I was surprised to finish all on my own! The beef wasn't as thinly sliced and the whole rice bowl was a little too saucy -- unlike what I'd prefer, but it wasn't too bad. Nonetheless, the whole experience was surprising, and I should've topped it off with the mango shake I had in mind!

Now I know where to go for my Jap food cravings during office hours! Yay!

Happy New Year to you all!!!

Decided to try this place because Earth Kitchen was full and my friend saw it on some list online of the best sulit sushi nearby haha! My friend got salmon and tuna sashimi, and they tasted pretty good (from what I was able to sneak hehe). I really enjoyed the spicy salmon roll I got. It came with this creamy sauce that was the source of all the spice. I also tried the chicken curry, and I suggest you stick t. I found the serving a bit small for the price, and I didn't like the runny curry sauce (I like my curry thick HAHA).

Try it if your ever in the area and are willing to splurge a bit hehe 🙃

We were 4, and ordered the following:

Miso soup

All for 745 pesos. Not bad, right? 128517

Will definitely go back to try their other stuff!
