Passed by aggy's to get some pastries for my doctor and of course some for us as well 128513 been a while since I've bought anything at aggy's so I was on the fence a bit.
Got brownies, Spanish bread and crinkles. The Spanish bread was so-so, better pa yung pa panaderia 128514 crinkles were nice and chewy though! Could actually be a bit overly chewy? Pwede ba yun? But better than being dry haha!
Gave the brownies to my doc so I didn't get to taste them but based on the 2 items I tried, just 3 stars for me.

I dont have the picture of their bestest (hahaha) chocolate caramel because obviously everybody loved it and such a hit! Even my suuuper picky and number one critic boss loved it because I got it for him as a bon voyage present. I think I earned extra points when in fact he took what was left home128512128512

A family friend gave us a whole Chocolate Caramel Cake today for my grandfather's first death anniversary. This was our first time to try a cake from this bakeshop. Although we were residing in BF before, Aggy's never came to mind whenever we'd buy cakes. We usually end up in Conti's or travel all the way to Makati to buy from Purple Oven.

I was impressed right away after my first bite. The chocolate cake was moist and dense. There was a thick caramel icing spread on top plus a thin layer in between the cake. Ahhh heaven. 128525

It kinda reminds me of Slice's choco yema. I easily finished a slice. Didn't find it uber sweet at all. 128523

Choco lava cake!!!!! There’s chocolate sauce under that caramel, seriously!!!! It's for you sugar lovers, chocolate and caramel! Kalokaaa! 128514128514128514 i didn't pick the cake but my friends' did.. It's for our Halloween/ girls' night out party. Surprisingly I was hoping that it's going to be too sweet because of the combination but I liked it because the cake was really moist.. 128522128522128522 Try it, this cake is super unique.. The look, the taste and the caramel sauce under!!! We got it in Aggy's BF. I'm not really sure about the price! 128513

We passed by Aggy's on our way home and I remembered that they sell Brazo de Mercedes Cupcakes. I asked hubby to drop by so I can grab some and try. It was such a good idea - Brazo de Mercedes in small serving. No need to buy half or a whole roll.

We got there and it was just a small shop. Seemed more like your old school bakeshops with some styro cakes displayed that were already getting dusty, some bread and pastries and cakes too. Aside from the Brazo cupcakes, I was hoping to try their frozen Brazo but they didn't have any that time.

Each Brazo de Mercedes cupcake costs 45php. I thought, not bad. I got just two cuppies and went home. As soon as we got home, I tried one. The whole thing collapsed as I took a spoonful! 128555128555128555 It was too soft and had too much air. I also noticed that it melted fast. The white part tasted like "bula" LOL I don't know.. Could have been the texture - melts instantly without effort once you put it inside your mouth 128557128557128557 it tasted like egg. Then the yellow part was good. Not too sweet. Could have been better if they added more of this.

Maybe next time I'll try to put it inside the ref and let it cool a little before eating. Maybe it's best served chilled.

A year ago today, I wrote a review on Aggy's and the cake we bought for AJ and the children of St. Rita's orphanage. Now I find myself writing another Aggy's review for AJ's cake on his 3rd birthday.

Mocha cake and icing is the order of the day for little AJ. The fondant stars and circles are his favorite. Not too sweet or too hard. The cake is light and fluffy with a white cream filling in between layers just as he likes it! No complaints as he digs in and gets his hands and cheeks all sticky!

While Aggy's cakes remain true to the quality we come to expect, the big difference with today's birthday is that AJ is now a part of our family and we are a part of him. We love you AJ! Happy 3rd birthday son! #myson #cuteboy #happy #AJ

If you love Aggy's Frozen Brazo then you better try their Brazo cupcakes. The soft sponge-like merengue serves as the icing and the supposed custard filling becomes the base of the cupcake. I prefer the Frozen brazo but for those who want to cut-off some sugar, then this is a better and less sweet option. I also like that I can serve this during gatherings without any hassle and at Php40 a piece? Not bad at all.128522128077

I'll come back again and again to Aggy's. Bought their chocolate caramel cake for my friend's birthday! Just the right amount of sweetness with that yummy caramel in the middle! My friend loved her cake!

Their moist caramel chocolate was good. A bit too sweet but something that children would definitely love. Speaking of children, the place seems to cater more to children so if you're looking for a cake for your kid or younger bro/sis, this would be a good place. Ironically, I was searching for a cake for my dad. No worries, the cake didn't seem childish. Probably just a bit too sweet for old people. 128514 the cake was good. Reasonable size while the price is a bit expensive but affordable. The place is small though and they have limited parking space. Would I go back? Maybe, but since Conti's is nearby, I might go for the latter.

This is the kind of store where you just go in, grab stuff, and leave. I've never tried their cakes but they seem pretty good at decorating them. Their cupcakes and brownies are not bad either.

The children of St. Rita Orphanage love to eat and they love to eat sweets. The perfect excuse to have both is a birthday. 127874127881127882 Our favorite baby AJ turned 2 and we wanted to give him and the other children a special treat. Aggy's has a line up of cakes that are ready at a moment's notice. Since AJ likes colors, we chose the most colorful one. Keeping in mind that toddlers were going to eat this, we opted for a light butter cake topped with vanilla icing. Aggy's was more than happy to write up the birthday message. The simple cake was nothing fancy but went a long way to brighten up AJ's day! Needless to say, this was a hit with AJ and his buddies!

Thank you Aggy's! 128077
