Food was good we ordered 1 pc of crab and 1 pc pompano with soy sauce.Waiting time for food is around 30-40 minutes.Staff were attentive. What I did not like is how they overprice the food. Our bill for 2 persons amounted to 2,160 pesos just for a piece of crab and a pc. of fish and 2 cups of rice.128547 Lesson learned: Next time I will ask the staff for the total amount of the seafood after they weigh it because price is not written on the menu.🤦🏻‍♀️ I also thought that this resto looks affordable 128516

There's an Ahfat 1,2 and 3. All within meters of eachother around Victoria Plaza.

They say Ahfat is the best place for chinese food in Davao. We ate at Ahfat 1 which is the original and they say the food tastes more authentic there. The place being old also adds to the authenticity I guess.

So we had spareribs, beef tenderloin, garlic shrimp, sweet and sour pork and bird's nest soup. The food is average. Doesn't set it apart that much from other chinese places. And also, I haven't tried a lot of chinese places as well that's why I'm excited for Binondo on the 11th. Yay!

Their service is amazing though, they put the soup in your bowl for you, the moment you run out of water they refill it in an instant and service with a smile! +111088

祝你生日快樂 姑母!

It was my aunt's birthday, and she invited us all to have dinner at Ahfat. This Chinese restaurant is probably the most popular restaurant in the city because it's always full, whether it be a weekday or the weekend. Also, their place is VERY big. They even have three buildings for this restaurant (!), complete with private rooms and all. It was also pretty interesting that you could watch their chefs cooking in their kitchen through a glass window. 128064

She ordered the usual Chinese dishes for us: pansit, chop suey, crispy fried chicken, bird's nest soup, sweet and sour fish, and crispy beef ribs. All of them tasted ordinary... and they also had a LOT of MSG! The taste of monosodium glutamate was very evident in all of the dishes. Not only that, my head ached and I felt kind of dizzy afterwards, even though I did not eat much. (I feel sick when I take in a lot of the substance.)

Ugh. 128534

Obviously, this place is always full because the food is cheap and the servings are big.

Their service is also very poor. Though the food came out fast, it was hard to get the attention of the waiters. They aren't also very friendly and accommodating either. 128531

Not recommending this one. Ever.

Fighting lobster sashimi, served on the body shell , head and extremities made into soup. An appetizer and meal in itself...

Most Famous Chinese Restaurant in Davao. They now have 3 branches which is beside each other. Literally, the 3 branches are beside each other talaga! They need to expand because a lot of people come here for the authentic chinese food !

Still one of Davao's best Chinese restaurant. They serve the best Bird's Nest Soup and Soy Chicken. Total value for money.
