Bacolod's best chicken inasal !127831

Went to Bacolod last Saturday for our Post 17th wedding anniversary getaway. We went to SM City Bacolod to buy pasalubong and someone recommended Aida's to us. The staff of Stabucks SM city Bacolod .

It' is located outside SM Bacolod. It's like a mini dampa there. There are many manokan eatery besides Aida's but they stand out among the rest , for one, they have a Masskara ambience, all the Masskara used in the festival was hang there. So I had photo ops! The Masskaras were beautiful but so heavy for my face .This is what I enjoyed during our visit.

We ordered paa. It's a quarter leg chicken inasal plus garlic rice then 1.5 liter of coke.

Their chicken inasal plus garlic rice was a bomb! Damn so good. Now I know the difference of an authentic chicken inasal , and it's only in Bacolod. Price was so affordable. They have different affordable packages to choose from.

Include this on your Bacolod foodtrip! Now I'm still craving for their chicken 127831

Not to diss Mang Inasal, but this is the real deal! Bacolod chicken inasal is the bomb! Friends who have been here at Bacolod told me countless times that I should try this, that it was life changing. And they are right. I never thought I could enjoy chicken inasal more than I usual do!

Manokan Country is a food strip whose main attraction is bacolod chicken inasal. It is located just beside SM Bacolod. Aida's Chicken Inasal is something that lives up to its name. The hype is so very much real!!! The chicken is both tender and succulent. It is oozing with flavor. Pair it up with your favorite soda and you are very much good to go!!

I think any Bacolod trip would be amiss if chicken inasal is not tried at least once. Do it! Try it! Have a piece of heaven, charred and covered in oil! YAAAAAS! Just typing this makes me drool! I want more! 128516128525

P.S. DO NOT FORGET TO DOUSE SOME CHICKEN OIL ON YOUR RICE/CHICKEN. IT IS MAJESTIC. I SWEAR TO GOD. 128516128514

Upon arriving at Bacolod during our Visayas backpacking experience, we immediately all agreed to try out Aida's for dinner.

Manokan is just across SM so it's not that hard to find however the street is kinda dark so better be cautious when walking around the area.

Anyway, ordered almost everything on the menu but I wasn't able to take a photo because I immediately used my hands to eat para mas masarap. I was only able to take one photo of the Pecho when I remembered I had to take a photo for Looloo! Haha! My favorites were the chorizo, Pecho, Tina-e and the Puso.

If you're into fancy, airconditioned and quiet places, this is not the place for you. But if you're game for some good food with reasonable prices, you better visit this place as soon as you land in Bacolod! 128077

We decided to eat our lunch at Manokan Country since we decided to drop ourselves off at SM City Bacolod. We entered Aida's Chicken and ordered for lunch. Their chickens are all in reasonable prices. (Check photos for prices.) All chicken parts are well-cooked and are tasty. 128076🏻

Prepare your hands and your stomachs.. Try out the local inasal and pair it with rice drizzled in chicken oil and garlic. Better if you eat with your hands, to get the feel of manokan country. 128522

Because there's no such thing as too much food, OK?

Aida's is one of the best and must try at Manokan Country. They serve authentic Chicken Inasal, Isol, and to die for fresh oysters!

We ordered their Chicken Inasal that's really juicy, tender and perfect with so much rice with chicken oil.

Their Isol is so big and addicting with its juicyness and enough saltiness!

Their fresh oysters were really scary at first beause of the size and the beachy smell. But when I tried it (with much vinegar in it), it's worth the fear that I had.

Definitely all of these dishes are worth trying!

I love Chicken BBQ/Inihaw/Inasal... 100841008410084

Every time we travel by land going to Caticlan, Boracay we never failed to stop by Aida's At Manukan Country, Bacolod.

Every Filipino foodie should go to Manukan country at least once in their life, and have a taste of what authentic Chicken Inasal tastes like. But in case you can't, for me, Aida's is definitely the next best thing!

Of all the inasal I tried, Aida's is the best. I devoured my chicken (pecho or pechopak = Php80) in minutes, coupled with delicious garlic rice with those crispy garlic bits I love. The chicken portion is huge, the meat tender and juicy. It's flavourful even on its own, but I still love dipping it in a sauce mix of soy sauce and calamansi. And speaking of calamansi, the calamansi they gave were HUGE.

The place is unassuming, very casual, but don't be fooled by its humble appearance. Out of all the restaurants lining Manokan Country, Aida's is the busiest - with good reason. I'm definitely going back here for my inasal fix.

For all you know, I am quite suffering from #MasskaraFestivaldepression the past weeks given my absence to this year's celebration. Anyway, so my officemate went to Bacolod for a wedding last weekend so I ask her to bring me specifically 2 of my favorite Bacolod pasalubongs, Quino's Cafe' cream puffs and Aida's Inasal Nga Manok.

So what's not to love about Aida's Bacolod Chicken Inasal? The chicken is sobrang malasa, best-tasting-finger-licking good really. And if I were to rate it will definitely be 10/10. Besides the Paa and Petso nga Manok, we also had Tina-e (Intestine without the laman), Batikulon (Gizzard), Isol (Chicken's Butt) and chicken oil & toasted garlic.

Our lunch was just, WOW!

Tastiest Chicken Inasal I've tried. First mix the chicken oil and some rock salt in your rice and start mixing it with you bare hand and start digging in. This is how bacolod people do it. No need for soy sauce the chicken already have enough flavor. Also try their Tina-e 128552(chicken intestine) hehehe and chicken ass. 128523

I was so full after hopping from one restaurant to another but I cannot leave my hometown without visiting the best in Bacolod. Aida's has been well received not only by locals but also visitors since time immemorial. Authentic, delicious inasal! Partnered with Sinamak!

Everytime na umuuwi ako ng Bacolod dito ako nagpupunta straight from the airport. Haha! Sobrang sarap ng native pecho chicken nila! Pero my ultimate favorite is their ISOL (pwet ng manok)... Then rice topped with fried garlic and chicken oil. Hindi naman sya masama kasi balanced naman. Oil is cholesterol while garlic is anti-cholesterol...mailusot lang! Haha. Favorite sawsawan is calamansi, chili and soy sauce. Solb!

You can also order fresh talaba then isawisaw sa suka. May nagtitinda sa may pinto ng aidas. Hihi

Hands down - the best chicken place in Iloilo. 80php for pecho and 75 Php for paa. We liked it so much we had to order another batch just to savor the taste.

Ambience is carinderia style so don't expect much in that department but the chicken more than made up for it!

Sorry no pictures :(

Oh man Manokan.

While some others would assert that Chicken House is what bacolod chicken inasal is all about, they probably haven't had the chance to try out Aida's.

This quaint inasal joint is tucked away in the confines of the borderline between old and new. On one side is the towering behemoth of an SM complex, while the other, the small houses that line the old city center.

Don't let it's outside looks fool you though. Aida's is the real deal when It comes to chicken. First time I tried it was at the end of our Masskara escapades back in 2012, where it's taste was probably compromised by the fatigue of our taste buds, as we chewed away our time waiting for our flight. At that time, the notable appreciation was not there, as we were still hungover our chicken inasal feast post-drinking at 3am in the morning in some other Manokan country joint.

The second time around was a different story. Our first meal in Bacolod was from Aida's. Note that it was still in the late hours of the morning and we practically opened up Aida's. (Side note to know if you're too early for it: there's still no garlic rice)

I will reiterate that you should not be intimidated by how it looks. Think of Aida's as one of the golden hole-in-the-wall noodle joints in hongkong -- it's a gem that you must appreciate and discover.

All the chicken is made to order, which is really cool. They probably have the most hearty chicken portions in any inasal place, as I was led to think that the chicken breast (pecho) I had was from a mutant chicken. Perhaps it is worth mentioning as a warning, that sometimes the chicken may tend to be undercooked (but considering that it's was too early, and the size of the chicken breast) but it is relatively safe and edible.

It's taste is incredibly distinct among any other grilled chicken you will encounter. It's not like the typical chicken whose taste is found in the exterior and deteriorates as you get into the fleshy center. The texture was also very fine, especially if you prefer your chicken to be juicy rather than dry -- it has perfectly done just that, without any need for further oil. It's just the right amount of salty and tangy, perfect with some rice and a (hearty) helping of chicken oil.

Bottom line: this will forever change the way you look at grilled chicken. Prepare to never be satisfied again with any other inasal that's not Aida's.
