It's my second time to eat here at Ajisen Ramen, and unfortunately, the first experience wasn't that positively memorable. Glad to have given it another try though, as the second visit redeemed this restaurant for me.
The key was that I didn't order their ramen anymore, as their version was in my top 5 of not-so-authentic-Ramen list. Customer service also slightly improved versus before when the staff and even the manager seemed like they couldn't care less
Anyway, I ordered the Spicy Tuna Sashimi and Kani Salad this time. The former had a good spicy kick, the fish seemed fresh and there was more of the tuna versus the tempura flakes. This version was one of the most satisfactory spicy tuna sashimi that I've tasted. On the other hand, the Kani Salad was a perfect complement to avoid "suya" from the sashimi.
What added to the positive experience was the moderate price and good-serving size. Ambiance and service were so-so.
Nevertheless, will definitely back, not only because restaurant options near the office are quite limited (but that's a honestly a big factor haha), but because now I've discovered where to get my Spicy Tuna Sashimi fix next time

New japanese restaurant in the ortigas area. It draws a big lunch crowd on most days so I was lucky to get a seat.
The food here is good. I have already tried the torikatsu ramen. Simple noodle soup with leeks and cabbage in the mix and fried boneless chicken on the side. The broth is savory and would work even without the chicken.
I also liked the gyudon.the beef was tender and the sauce a mix of salty and sweet. The crunchy roll was also ok as well as the yasai which had other veggies in it aside from the sprouts.
This place is definitely a good addition for lunch places in the area.

It's good that we have another option for lunch near the office. I liked their Beef Teriyaki. Very tender meat, generous toppings, moist rice. Service needs improvement though, should be faster since we only have an hour for lunch.

Service is outstanding! They offered cold or hot tea as they assign you to your seats. That spicy ramen I had was soooo delicious! It came with separate a spicy paste condiment. My friend ordered katsudon and we all enjoyed it as all of their servings are good for 2 persons, but it always depend how hungry you were the place is nice and the lightning inside gave us this "homey" feeling. Absolutely a place for us working people to dine with
