Loved the Zaru Soba and my friend loved the curry noodles... Huge servings...! Single order noodles could be shared by light eaters. Service staff were very friendly and knew the menu inside out (how refreshing!!!!). Of course I had to order the edamame as part of my comfort food on a Friday night. I totally forgot to take a photo of what we ate because we just dug in as soon as the food came. Will definitely go back and hang out at this place... Maybe even try some sake! :) yum...!

They say you know it's authentic japanese food when a vast majority of the people around you are japanese.

And true enough, when you come here during meal time, almost everyone is japanese.

For appetizers, go get yourself some buttered mushrooms, whether its Enoki or Shitake. The way they season is tantalizing to the tastebuds.

My favorite dish here is the Sukiyaki.
One order can serve two people.
A delightful mix of texture and just the right amount of taste in every bite.

The Ebi Tempura is delightful as well.

If "master" is in the house and likes you enough, master - the head honcho/owner of the place, he'll throw in a couple of appetizers or desserts he makes in the kitchen.
You won't know what it is, but its really good. It's usually a pleasant surprise.
