Went out for a spanish kind of night, polaris st houses 2 good spanish resto and we went here instead.

The interior resonates old spanish era with old wood, creaking stairs, wine wall and a band that sings songs out of rizal era.

They specialize in paella so we went with those, paella squid ink and valenciana were really good. Really good especially the squid ink. Be sure to order it right away coz cooking time is 30 mins. 128522

Forgot to review this one.

It's team dinner and they wanted to eat Spanish food, so we chose this place. The food was great, flavourful and cooked well. The ambiance is perfect!

Spanish dinner w the amigas. 128131🏻

We always pass by this restaurant whenever we visit West Gate in Alabang or when we go to El Chups but since it felt like a place for "adults", I never really bothered researching about the place. True enough, the place during our visit was packed with old people and foreigners. 128517

Plus Spanish food is not something I am that interested, as well. I am curious but not to the point that I will do everything just so I can eat here. In short, wala siya sa must try list ko. 128517

One friday night, I met up w my ex officemates and one suggested we eat here. We all agreed since we were all hungry and we all wanted to eat something heavy like rice or PAELLA. 127834127834127834

Checked the reviews here just so I know what to order. Almost everyone enjoyed and liked the Paella Negra. The best according to most of the reviews. I was tempted to order that but because of my officemate's allergy, we had to order something else. Ordered the Paella Valenciana instead plus the Chorizo Fritos, and Espaguetis de la Casa.

We had to wait for 30 mins for the paella, so we asked for everything else to be served together so I can take a picture of everything all at once and they can eat right away! No need to wait and just stare at the food. 128517128514 #SupportiveFriends. Good thing, they serve complimentary bread & butter while we wait. The bread was just your usual bread but since it was served warm and we were hungry, we enjoyed it!! 128518128077🏼

Paella Valenciana
- I have already tried Paella before but this was the first I'm trying it from a legit known restaurant and wow, the paella was really good. Overflowing with seafood toppings, like crabs, mussels, shrimps, and fish, and there's meat as well. Plus veggies. Very flavorful and with the burnt part at the buttom. The size was good enough to make the 3 of us very busog and happy! 128513

Chorizo Fritos
- chorizo was so good! Again, so this is how a legit chorizo tastes! It was a bit toasted which made it even yummier!! Sarap papakin! 1285639786️ I liked this one but can only eat at most 3 pcs because it was too salty. I can eat more but would need rice! Haha!

Espaguetis de la Casa
- my other officemate's order. I guess she liked this one since she finished everything and didn't ask if we want to taste it! Hahahahaha!! 128518128518 Well, serving size is just good for one.

Service was hmm okay? It was kind of slow but okay lang.

This calamari tapas is probably the best calamari I ever had. The batter is perfectly crunchy and the calamari is tender and succulent. The creamy and cheesy dip is a great partner. Now I know why Alba had been around for more than 50 years.

Friends from Singapore visit Manila for a few days and decided to try this restaurant after reading some good reviews about them. Tried some of Spanish dishes before that's why I'm excited to eat here so I can compare their food to other Spanish restos.

We ordered 2 kinds of Paella and it was divine, delish, to die for!!!

Please do try this resto if you're in Makati or near Jupiter St. Please.

Paella Negra, Callos and Chorizo, are our staples when dining here at Alba's. Their chorizos are really good and very addicting. Perfect with red wine.

Ambience is nice. Parking is very limited and only along the street.

Croqueta de hamon was ok.
Salpicado was ok.
Pasta de mariscos was a good.
Their cheesecake-like dessert (forgot the name) tasted like leche flan. 128541
The Paella Negra is the best one ive had so far! Even if our lips were black, I loved it! Ill go back to this!

The fruit shakes (dalandan, watermelon, four seasons) were really good - fresh and not too sweet.

i loved how walking in muted the makati outside.

no bustling crowds. no blaring music.

i loved how the callos melted in my mouth.

when in search of quiet corners, a place for slow meals, this is now a regular go to place.

Alba's Paella Negra never ceases to satisfy me! I always order one just for myself. Cooked the right way all the time. Smooth not burnt. Be careful not to get some on your clothes because it stains. Also, get ready to get black lips, gums and teeth after eating. 128513

Food is great, love the paella (comes with a lemon slice) - best I've tasted. Ambience is cozy. And price per head is roughly at P700.

Buffet dinner on Sundays starts at 6PM.

Food is ok. White asparagus obviously canned. But service is so slow that even good company can't disguise the slowness.

They made a mistake in our order and instead of just an apology, there was attitude. A waiter loudly saying we never even ordered what we said we did to his fellow waiters.

I am glad I loved who I ate with because it was otherwise disappointing.

My mom's Lengua is still better but Alba's will do for now. Loved their Lengua Sevillana!

The lunch buffet was good value for money, but I ordered a la carte because I wasn't so hungry. Their boquerones was good, although I swear some pieces of lettuce were frozen. Not too impressed by their coca - I didn't realize it had cheese on top and the cheap icky kind - I had to remove it but the vegetables and sardines that remained were good. Courtesy of staff can also be improved.

Looking for a place with the right amount of Spanish vibe? This is it!
The interiors, the band, the food, the noise (yeah that too), gives you a taste of España. 128521
