Alfred's best-selling champagne and tapas buffet is back, giving you more reason to celebrate the holidays. Enjoy luxury dining with their bottomless champagne, melted Raclette, Jamon Serrano Monte Nevado, and U.S. Beef Belly. This is available from December 4 to 8, 2017 and December 11 to 15, 2017. 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Alfred, Ground Floor of Makati Diamond Residences. Php 1800 nett per person.

Sharing the experience:

The unlimited Jean Veselle Brut Reserve champagne is the main attraction for the night but you can also order other beverages in their buffet such as cocktails, beer, soda, chilled juices, coffee, tea, and wines. Cheers!

The buffet was not full spread but rather offers curated dishes to give you that luxury experience. Here are the fine dishes that they offer:

Fish Brandade. Brandade is an emulsion of salt cod and olive oil eaten with bread or potatoes.

Parmesan Pudding on Crostini, Arugula, Crema Balsamico. A good starter for the buffet.

Bird's Nest with Chicken and Barbeque Sauce. Fine preparation.

Voul au vent Escargot, Spinach Mousseline. How do you pronounce this, guys? Tastes good.

Spaghetti with Shrimp Scampi. The pasta was cooked al dente. Good amount of olive oil, and succulent shrimp.

Slow Cooked U.S. Beef Belly. With horseradish cream and red wine sauce. Tender and fatty good.

Raclette Station. Just look at that melted goodness. I paired this with their marble potatoes.

Jamon Serrano. The culinary symbol of Spain, a dry-cured Spanish ham, served in very thin slices.

I enjoyed the buffet and the dishes were a perfect match with bubbly. The ambiance of the place has a romantic feel and the staff was also very accommodating. They play piano music of Christmas songs which give you that homey and classy holiday feeling. Definitely a complete package.

By the way, they also serve ice cream (which was so good, I forgot to take a picture). I love the honey flavor.

Cheers, everyone! Happy Holidays!

Enjoyed their salted caramel ice cream, it confused your taste buds, salty, sweet, and cold. One of the best salted caramel flavor ice cream in town.

Breakfast at Alfred was pretty standard, not saying it wasn't good though. Just typical would be the right word. Same as you'd see in most hotel breakfast spreads of the same caliber. The ambience took it a notch up. Natural sunlight seeps in really easily and bounces off the high walls and ceilings giving that bright and airy feel. So very conducive to business meetings over breakfast!

You'd have your pleasant choice of cheeses, cold cuts, eggs, bacon, sausages, cereals, breads, a bit of asian, and pretty much every else you've tried/seen at a buffet breakfast.

What stood out for me was what i think was a liver sausage arranged really nicely in a spiral. It looked really appetizing and tasted just as good!

I'd give it 4 stars for breakfast but i do hope to try lunch or dinner some other time as i see really good reviews about them here on looloo 128076

I treated my sister to participate in the #ChampagneEveryday promo with me. Unfortunately the weekend brunch was sold out already so we went with Tapas and Champagne buffet php850/person nett.

There were four types of jamons (jamon serrano gran reserva montevado, jamon iberico, jamon iberico bellota and extramadura.) The brighter the redness the saltier. These piggies only eat acorns thus its deliciousness. For the first round of drinks I washed down my first plate of jamons with red wine. The meatball pasta and truffle cheese pasta was delicious too! The cheese pasta goes well with their Delamotte champagne which I had 3 glasses of. (Sulit) hehe For dessert there's ice cream and cake. I had the limoncello tiramisu, so so good! Such a cute dessert!

They could improve on the service of their waiters, a couple of waiters just forgot what we asked for and never delivered.

I went for waitlist on their holiday brunch. Fingers crossed hihi!
