Travelled all the way to Angeles Pampanga just to buy Aling Lucing's famous sisig. P185/order is definitely worth it, just add eggs 128076🏼

It was good sisig, but I guess I was just expecting something greater. It's worth trying if you're in the area, but if you're from Manila and plan to go just to try their sisig, I wouldn't recommend it.

There is something wrong with this place! No seriously! I love sisig in all its forms! With egg, no egg, crunchy with or without chicharon, soy sauce or mayo based, w pigs ears or brain I'm game and Good to go!
We detoured from baguio to find this place because we just wanted to try the place out. I even heard of this place before anthony bourdain set foot here.
We arrived around 1 pm and ordered 2 sisigs, 4 cups or rice and four sodas.
The bad part:
Cleanliness: horrible! Wet floor, calamansi on the floor, dirt, tables weren't cleaned and dissenfected, dirty plates and utensils, mine came with a hair and I won't even start with the bathroom.
Service: non existent
The food: not crunchy, flavorless, bland, greasy and just plain crap! The rice was even under cooked!
I'm no snob and I love sisig! I've had it in restos, karinderias hotels, beach houses, kanto joints, you name it. They could do a much better job!
To aling lucings, u guys are an institution and have appeared on anthony bourdains show and the original one and you guys are famous! if your sisig is really like that then fine I can respect that. But please.... Clean your restaurant up!

I love Sisig! That's why I forced myself to find this raved about place famous for its Sisig.

I was a bit disappointed since I didn't expect it to be that oily and tasteless. It can't stand on its own. You need to put seasoning to enhance the taste.

Maybe it's just me? I'll give this restaurant another try when I visit Angeles Pampanga.

If you love sisig, which you definitely should, this place is a must try. One of the best sisig I've had hands down. And their soy sauce is the perfect complement.

Finally got to watch the hot air baloon festival last year and the Breitling Aerobatic Show at Clark Pampanga. The show finished just before lunch and we decided to look for Aling Lucing's Sisig.
The sisig was awesome. I could have given 5 stars but the place was so dirty and dilapidated already.
Ftw yung wooden chopping board hindi mo alam kung me chips of wood na sumasama dun sa sisig.na timatadtad ha ha.

Original sisig tastes the same but the place is quite dirty already I know they want to maintain the classic original feel but a little cleaning would be a big improvement :)

Finally set foot in the hone where sisig was born. Drove all the way from manila just to taste their workd famous Sisig. Ordered sisig and igado for lunch. Igado is just ok mas masarap pa ako mag igado but their sisig suprisingly failed to amezed me. It's just ok for my taste and i was looking for the crispy sisig that Gerry's grille can provide. Well maybe i was expecting too much but it sadly failed my grade. Some other time perhaps. No pictures taken i'm not intsrested to take one.

The place needs improvement. They should at least maintain it and always keep it clean. 128528 I know that the place is carinderia type so i'm not expecting it to be fancy. I was expecting an okay place.

We ordered sisig -- I did not like it. 128557 Sorry, Aling Lucing, Sisig hooray pa din. That is bec i still prefer the crispy type of sisig with mayo.

The original spot. The home base.

Aling Lucing along Valdez is the typical Carinderia you'd find in various Philippine streets. The best thing about this place is their Sisig. After all, you can't be called Sisig Queen for nothing.

We ordered fried lumpia, chopsuey, karekare, bistek tagalog and 3 orders of Sisig.

The food was poor the average. The Sisig was the best part. Done the capampangan style with lots of onions and not crunchy. Yummy.

Service was kinda poor with only one wait staff and I don't know how many in the kitchen. The wait staff even served our Sisig to some others table first.

To eat the best SISIG ever, you've got to do that road trip with your buddies. And many many years after we did our first road trip, we still make the time once or twice a year to eat Aling Lucing's famous sisig.

Now at a cool P185 each sizzling plate (but lots of sisig still per plate which can feed 1.5-2 pax), Aling Lucing is still worth it. Three plates to feed five of us, in fact. Just right. Not bursting-at-the-seams level.

On the sisig--- Flavorful, tender bits of pork (won't specify which parts; do your research for that 128517) complemented with onions--- and best eaten how the Kapampangans enjoy it... with a touch of vinegar! In the past several years, Aling Lucing began to serve toyo na rin as the Manileños would probably request it. But even without either vinegar or soy sauce, their sisig still retains its flavor, which bursts in your mouth, it's almost heaven on the lips, evoking memories of past road trips and good bonding with great friends. #goodtimes

We added buro (fermented rice), and fried chicken. I didn't care for the buro (never been a fan) and the fried chicken was just so so. But I didn't go there for these.

Along Lucing ran out of chicken ass (pwet ng manok) so we went to next door (on the right, around the corner) Aling Naty, and ordered four sticks! Yummy too. Perfect complement. If you've gonna do cholesterol overload then might as well go all the way. 128518128556128520

Takes you about 1.15-1.30 to get to this from QC. Take Angeles exit. This time I used Waze and it taught me a quicker way of getting there. #wazecanspoilyou

Totally worth the trip. Aling Lucing is still the best sisig for me. The place was packed when we got here so we ended up seating outside, which is fine since the weather is nice and there's a cool breeze which combined with the smoke coming out of the passing tricycles added to the "riles" ambiance. The flavor and the consistency are still there after all these years. The chicken is good but I find it a bit too sweet and lacking in flavor/spice. But hey, I did not come here for the chicken. The cliche that the original is always the best definitely applies to Aling Lucing's. As they say here in Pampanga - manyaman!

I was referred by Abe C to join the #loolooiPhone5Cgiveaway!
