Went out with mudra to re-stock our groceries and decided to go here for an afternoon snack. In the halo-halo world, Aling Taleng has been under the radar due to it's location. IMHO it's one of the best out there.

Still loved the winter melon on top and every home-made ingredient that makes their halo-halo awesome. We also tried their burger and it did not disappoint. Not as good as the gourmet burgers in the Metro but its filling enough.

If you happen to be in the area, make sure to visit Aling Taleng's Halo Halo to experience this local dessert that has been appreciated since 1933.

A bit pricey at P85, we still decided to try Aling Taleng's halo-halo because of their signs inside the Local tourism office. I'm not a big fan of macapuno so was not happy to see so much of it inside this one. Instead of boiled banana or camote, they put candied winter melon on too and inside the mix. Medyo harang yung price considering we tried two other places with cheaper but yummier halo-halo.

The puto bumbong was only P35 but lacking in flavor as well. Alright but I've tasted better.

Philippine's oldest halo-halo store since 1933. They served the best halo-halo in PH with its unique and and delicious ingredients. It's not your typical neighboring halo-halo with sago, gulaman, Nata and saging but instead they use Tubo ng niyog, Kundol and such.

Never skip Aling Taleng's Halo-Halo! Its a must try here in Pagsanjan. This is the best halo-halo in town. Forget about Razon's or Chowking.

I also love their puto bumbong, pancit, and sing aling (famous chicharon in laguna).

I've never been to Pagsanjan w/o going to this famous resto.

It took a while but it was worth the wait. One of the better halo-halos I've tasted! Though I thought that the ingredients are kinda limited (a lot of the usual "sahog" weren't there). Must-try if you are in Pagsanjan area.

Line was crazy because it's a holiday! They closed at 5PM today. Not sure if it's within their regular hours. :)

"The authentic Halo-halo Est. 1933"

Summer is already here! and what better way to welcome it on looloo but to submit a review regarding Pagsanjan's secret gem and I'm not talking about falls. I'm referring to Aling taleng's version of our most famous ice treat, the Halo-Halo.

Now, for a halo-halo to be spectacular it will need a decent serving of shaved ice, evaporated milk, a tablespoon of sugar (or two for some) and the various mix of boiled sweet beans and fruits should be all natural or home made. Aling Taleng's Halo-Halo embodies everything that I mentioned. Her halo-halo which has been passed on to 4 generations since 1933 uses 7 main ingredients: Kaong, Sugarcane bits, Mongo Beans, Macapuno, Ube, Leche Flan, and Kondol. It has the right sweetness and addicting harmony of flavors that will surely make your tastebuds giddy. Enjoyable indeed! 128523
