Adobo flakes tasted like lechon paksiw
Beef tapa was tough and tasted off
Waffle tasted like soggy bread (pancake mix)

Egg was on point though - malasado
Service was also good.

Price wise, I guess it's ok... affordable. But not worth going for a second visit (or a first one at that).

Coming from graveyard shift or eating out before work always gave us limited options back then. Since ally's has opened in the area, we finally have a decent place to eat that is not fast food.

We've tasted a lot already. I'll begin talking one of the my favorites from their menu, surprisingly, it's their omelettes. Idk why but I love their classic spanish, that has ham and potatoes inside. I've tried their cheesy bacon tomato, but I still prefer the classic spanish. It can be served with rice or bread. The bread I have is usually just a slice of bread, cut in half. After ordering that for several times, I was only served once where it was toasted. I wish it was toasted or even buttered than plain bread. Nonetheless, I would love their omelette, priced at 160-170 Php, with iced tea already.

Boyfriend usually orders their breakfast meal. The picture above is an old photo of their Bacon Oh Bacon. They now serve their breakfast meals in large bowls. Their bacon is not too crispy and not too soft/saggy. It was just in between. You could say it was just right. We've also tried their tapa and tocino which are also good. The boyfriend also wishes to try everything in their breakfast menu. Price is at about 150 Php, already includes iced tea, of course some are higher, such as sisig and their bagnet.

I have also tried their DIY waffle. It was okay. I still would like to try the ones they have in the menu. The waffles and pancakes they have are for sharing and I can't finish one, probably, without being so umay with all the sweetness. The one pictured above, is their pancrepe. Pancakes used as crepes. I chose kitkat. Inside the pancakes are bits of kitkat. It was very sweet. The vanille ice cream lessens the sweetness and makes a cold contrast to the warm pancake. It also seems too sweet when it's served with iced tea too.

My friend has also tried one of the breakfast platter, what diet? Priced at 450, it includes sausage, bacon, eggs, unlimited rice, unlimited iced tea, and a triple chocolate waffle.

My frequent dining at ally's shows that their food fulfills my palate and appetite. Though I still feel something is lacking. Like perhaps their drink options since you only choose between iced tea or brewed coffee. No hot chocolate or tea option. Hoping for more improvements though.

Thought of going for a Boneless Daing na Bangus rather than fastfood so I opted for Ally's. Apparently, after 15-20 minutes, my order's still not ready despite the fact that the place is not really crowded. I tried to follow up my order thrice but I didn't get any decent feedback at all. This was my 2nd/3rd try already and I thought they're going to improve compared to my 1st dine-in but it was such a disappointment. Had my order cancelled instead and just took a drive-thru instead. Oh well, this is place is NOT service-oriented at all.

Food was disappointing. The waffles tasted like bread soaked in water, with sugar.

Never coming back here.

And I find breakfast restaurants dishes lacking in flavor. Guess I haven't found a good one yet.

I woke up around 11AM last Wed and despite being sick, had to get up and go to the bank then went here for a late brunch. I decided to try the Hungarian sausage meal. Wasn't bad, but wasn't exceptional either. Only complaint were the eggs. May raw whites pa on top of the yolks (dunno if you can see in the pic) and I don't like my eggs that way. My fault because I forgot to tell them how I wanted it prepared. Kaya lang, come to think of it, they should've asked too. Haha!

I have yet to perfect the foodtography technique so please bear with my ineptitude 128517

I looooooooooove breakfast and all-day breakfast joints are my thing! Hooray for tod-- ay mali! Haha! Ally's just opened a branch at The Rock and I am loving it! First off, the decor is so sunny and bright and exudes happiness so even if it's dark out, you still feel like it's 6:30 am... I love the nook and cranny-ish interiors... Wooden tables with high chairs, the wall has rushes covering one side and a bookshelf with, not just books, but cute miniatures of pots and plants. I should've taken a pic! Ugh.

There's even an area separated by sliding glass doors for those who are seeking privacy perhaps or just a different ambience.

The food was surprisingly disappointing, but it was my first visit and it was takeout so I'll give them a break 128522 Adobo flakes, yay!!! But with no salt or seasoning. It was so bland. Nagulat lang ako because I was of course expecting maalat and maasim konti. Tpos... Ngerk. Anyway, I'll try a different dish next time. Not bad for 150php. Adobo flakes, rice, 2 fried eggs with diced tomatoes on the side with iced tea! 128079128077

I am undoubtedly a breakfast person. My favorite part of going out of town is and always will be the breakfast buffet. Omelet stations, pancake stations, UNLIMITED FRIED RICE — yes please. 128525128069

That being said, I got really excited when I found out Ally's was opening near our place. I haven't been able to try the Malingap branch yet, and I heard it's always full, so this was the perfect time to try it.

We arrived at around 9:30 and there were a couple of other groups dining. One group of six was really, really loud – and the glass and cement interiors didn't help. Acoustics are quite bad here, and if one person is loud the entire restaurant suffers. 128556

We tried their Batangas beef tapa and Bacolod longganisa. Both were actually quite good! The tapa was a bit overdone, though, but I like the flavor more than Pancake House's tapa. Each meal comes with a free glass of iced tea, too.

Definitely going to make this place a lazy Sunday brunch option! Helps that the place is quite pretty and has a nice view, too 128541

Day 2 at this place for breakfast and I'm liking it more. Their Bagnet Superstar was awesome! But take your blood pressure first before ordering. 128512

It's called Luzviminda Longganisa, a combination of local sausages from Vigan, Lucban, Bacolod & Davao!

Been wanting to try Ally's in Maginhawa but I've actually never seen the place there lol so I was really happy when I found out they opened a new branch along Holy Spirit drive. The Rock is actually a really nice place with lots of other restaurants and it has a Starbucks with 2 floors pa! Plus I saw they had an Adidas and Nike outlet on the second floor, a nail place, and a massage place too. Definitely coming back!

Anyway, I forgot the name of the beautiful stack of pancakes we got but it was really really really really good. The Ally's menu here on looloo isn't super updated but I'm guessing it's called banana pancake with caramel syrup and vanilla ice cream. Lol. It's good and it's very sulit! The stack had 3 FAT pancakes! 128561 Couldn't finish it all but if they put caramel syrup, whipped cream or bananas in between pancakes and not just on top, we might've been able to devour it all. It got a little boring when the sliced bananas and ice cream ran out and all we had left was one giant pancake. 🙃

Fortunately for us, we didn't encounter problems with their service. I've read a couple of really bad reviews for their Maginhawa branch for their bad service so I kind of expected this visit to be bad but wala naman 128513

Definitely coming back!
