Looked for a laud back place and it seems like it. Ordered a bottle of JD. Price is not bad as you can also leave any unfinished bottles with them. They'll even provide you with something to write on if in case someone would get it.

The food was surprisingly good. I like the cheese sticks and potato chips. Its all fresh.

The only thing bout this place is that the sound system is not that good. We had a difficulty hearing each other when the band is playing. We were even thinking of getting a table outside but we can't leave the comfort of the AC. The saving grace of this - clean washroom but weird urinal. Hahaha!

Nice ambiance, food is affordable and pretty good.

I've tried the adobo flakes, which were okay because I'm biased to the one I make which was taught to me by my mom :)

Tried the filet mignon, which was a happy surprise because it was good and not expensive.

Calamari was soggy, I'm not sure if that's on purpose or if it just wasn't cooked well.

Arroz ala cubana was also pretty good, but I still pick the one made at my grandmas house.

Funny how we stick to things we grew up with.

Overall it's a nice place to chill with friends and have a few drinks, and support local bands that come to play.

The bistro is a fine place for gigs and dining. The place is spacious although it needs to improve their sound system because the mic can't be heard on all corners of the room (particularly where we sat at). We went here for another benefit gig with bands like General Luna and Ebe Dancel to name a few.

They have many choices on their menu but this two dishes struck me most that I wanted to try it. Chicken Cordon Bleu and Lemon Herbed Chicken (obviously a chicken lover hehe). I forgot the price but it's affordable, around 180-250. I liked the chicken cordon bleu because it's not all chicken, you can taste cheese and the crunchy breading. The lemon herb chicken was okay, not much herb flavor and i can only taste the lemon because I sprinkled a slice on it.

I'll come back to try their other dishes and if there's another good event going to happen there.
