It's a very cool place to stay if you have spare time to burn. Food's not great, but they are ok. Would be a little expensive for the taste. Price definitely gives justice to their ambiance and presentation. I hope they can work with improving the food, as I find it really bland. But over all experience was ok. Would I visit again? Yes, just for the feel good reward time.

Brown-out! Heavy rains! 128561 But nothing can't stop me to finish my Sampaloc Manila Food Crawl. 128074🏼

My final stop: Dessert at Amo Yamie Crib Coffee located at the 3rd Floor of DB Building, Padre Noval St. Corner España, Manila.

At the counter, the server handed me the order slip and I got the Original Flavor Jav-Aladdin for Php129.00. It is a mocha shake topped with Chocolate Chip Cookie and Cream. 127850

One finished ordering you will choose your crib. The place is like a playground designed with small houses. It's like you are playing "Bahay-bahayan". The best way to go here is to tag along with your friends and/or someone else. 128540

If you have stereotyped Espana to be a spot for heavy traffic and clogged drainage sytems, well you may want to add a new item to even out your list because over the years, it has become an avenue witnessing the birth of the most interesting foodie chillouts!

Right across the den of the growling tigers, on the side of P. Noval street sits a crib to contain the naughtiness of the youngsters (and the youngsters by heart)!

Amo Yamie Crib flashes this toddler playhouse look through their low tables, floor pillows and rubber mats that will make you want to slouch on the area while enjoying a good chat with your old pals. A good look on their menu and you'll find an even more playful collection of their concoctions, desserts and their finger tempting foods.

From their fairytale inspired frappes, I opted for Oreo and Juliet which is definitely a blockbuster if only for how it looks. It was an outrageous serving of milkshake with dripping chocolate syrup and propping cookies all over the mason jar! Quite a monster for any prince to battle but the verdict? Tragically lame. I mean it is not bad but it just tastes too ordinary. The little earthlings on our table are the mini bites served with french fries. They were fine but nothing so special about them. I was particulary excited with the s'mores that time but I was cut short when it landed on our table pretty cold ( and lifeless you can say). I had to practically use force to dig the cookies into what supposed to be molten lava of mashmallows128533

So was my visit a happy ending? A shaky yes maybe because still Amo Yamie brags a great place to chill out with perhaps the most visually appealing and sounding food choices. What I have tasted may not be that special but they aren't that bad either. Besides it could only be a bad pick128513

I still think it is a place worth checking out. The End128513

The place can hold a million people! Hahaha it is big and has two floors for dinning. It reminds me of korean cafés in Cebu. We have lots of them there where you sit on the floor in a cubicle.

They offer a lot of food and drinks. I love love love the cheesy fries to bits! 10084️ Our drink was ok. Nothing special.

If you're the type of person who likes studying out, cross out this place on your list. It gets noisy with the amount of crowd coming in.

All for only 900+! I really recommend this place especially to those students who wants to have a break after a long nerve-wracking hours of studying, but I don't recommend it if you're looking for a good place to stay when reviewing because it's really noisy (student's noise + music from the shop) because basically, this crib is just near UBelt and a lot of students wants to chill here for a while, and of course you can't blame them for being noisy while chilling. But I saw some students who brought their ipads and earphones along with them while reviewing so you can try that too.

Service is good! Very approachable staffs and very very very nice place! 💯💯 This place is just along Padre Noval Street near UST.

It took a while to find the place because it was located differently in waze. Anyway the building is old and we had to climb 3 flights of stairs. But it was a surprise when we got to the place. It looks new. It was big and the air-conditioning system was good. We had drunken dwarf, a-reese in Wonderland, and wizard of oreo. The drinks were good but a bit too sweet probably because of the add ons. The nachos balanced it. The experience was good but not something I'd be craving for in the days to come.

Yung drunk dwarf ang pinunta namin, pero di siya avail last night. :( We ordered smurfy s'mores instead. okayyy lang naman, masarap din. We also ordered pizza fries na good for 2 daw, pero super bitin ang konti hehe. Yung place, malamig, maganda pang barkada, chika chika. Perooo super ingay, para kasing my laban ng boxing128514 di kami makapag kwentuhan ng maayos ng friends ko.. di rin kami nakatagal :/

Though this is not the first place that we've been with the same concept of interior, i can say that the place is so cute. Specially if you're with lover, and also with your friends. It is a great place for chika, kikay thingy talk, etc. With the food, at first me and my bf have a doubt, because many of our friends say that the food is not masarap, and only taste good in the picture. But we tried to order this drunk dwarf, and when we tase it, all the worries are gone. The food is also great the one that we ordered is the plain fries and the pizza fries. Will definitely go back here

Though the concept of "crib" is not very new anymore, the place was nice and clean. We ordered Once Upon Nutella, Hot Americano, and Choco Lava Cake. Once Upon Nutella was ok, not too sweet, nothing so special about it except that of the presentation, though there were other milkshakes in the menu with a more "dramatic look". We were a bit surprised with how the Americano tasted. For a price less than a hundred pesos, we got more than what we paid for. It was good, there was a religious kick of caffeine in every gulp 128514 The lava cake was disappointing, too sweet, or maybe because of the syrup added on top.

it's been a year when jem and I visited the amo yamie at mendiola. They opened a new branch near uste so it's more accesible. Honestly, it's more beautiful and relaxing here than the mendiola branch swear. they use a lighting that is so welcoming and yes, i noticed small details haha they place was crowded and noisy because of the numbers of student who's been there catching up with their friends.

It's was my sisters first time to try amo yamie and they love it especially my baby sister who's first time to see tons of cribs in one room haha

"Welcome to ma crib. This is where the magic happens" - but the magic didn't last too long for me, especially as soon as I tasted the food. They're photogenic and that's a given - but man, couldn't they exert more effort on the taste? Perhaps warm the buns first before serving them? Or make the milkshake a bit creamier? Here though, you pay for the ambiance and the cute li'l "crib" nooks. If you're a tall person I wouldn't recommend going up to the second crib level unless you're up for some adventure. I'm 5'2 and had a bit of a hard time stooping to pick a crib. You also need to take your shoes off. I went with my niece and it was a challenge for her finding a comfortable sitting position but you know, things work out for some folks and some don't. They do have "normal" seating tho if that's something you prefer.

Amo Yamie is on the 3rd floor of DB Building. We had to navigate several flights of stairs (with a cafe employee) before we reached the place. The employee couldn't help but grumble (albeit slightly) about what she has to deal with each time she goes to work, but turns it around by saying at least she's getting a good workout and that maybe she'd lose some weight in the process.

Bottom line is, this place is okay to try at least once just to get a feel for crib dining...but taking the food into consideration, it's not something I'd be willing to go through again.

This place is alot bigger than the one in Legarda. When I say alot bigger, I mean you'll have a hard time choosing a spot to stay! Hahaha!

I totally loved the drinks, it was very delly!!! 128539 The nachos were fine but i'd say that their fries are much yummier. I wasn't a fan of their mini burgers, it had a different taste, I can't really explain it.

I think they should update their songs because when we were there only like 2 songs were playing over and over again, it was Cool Kids & 4,5 seconds lol.

This is a nice place to talk & chill out with your friends. It's not that crowded & noisy since the place is big. The interior was really nice also. Try it, it's worth it! 🙂

I was so excited to try this place since i have read reviews about it and was said to be one of the best cafes in the metro. I actually went here the moment i heard that they will open a branch in España but ended up disappointed. They had a power interruption at that time, so they have to move their opening date.

And since i am very lazy, i decided not to go back anymore (the place is really high and you need to climb like 5 stairs or so! No elevator!128554). But my brother just went home from HK and we were so busy to go out that time so we decided to just eat lunch around UST.

We ordered almost everything but nothing seemed to fit right in our tastebuds. We tried their burger, sandwich and fries but the taste is just so-so. The cake is ah-ok but what we liked though, is their drinks. I loved the once upon nutella and was relieved that there's finally a saving grace to the food we ordered.

We do not know if it is just our tastebuds or them being overhyped but if i have to go back to this place, maybe shake will be enough for me (oh, maybe try their nachos bec I haven't tried it yet as it was not available the time we went there)
