tapa and ribs were very tender, tasty and rich in flavor! even a tiny bite can release how flavorful it is. carbonara sauce really sticks to the pasta. we'll definitely come back.

prices were affordable. tapa price varies if ala cart or in meal (cheaper if you order it with rice and egg). half slab of ribs is just 275 with rice and vegetables.
staffs were attentive despite during peak hours.
they have budget-friendly meals ranging from P70-100.

One of those days, you just wanted something sweet.

We ordered:
The Dome (small - 150PHp) - it was ok, it wasn't as moist though.
Frozen Mango de Mercedes (small - 235) - a bit tough to eat, wait for it to thaw first

Went back to some familiar grounds for me with the family today. As we dine within the famed U.P. Village/Teacher's Village/Sikatuna Village food belt. Just nearby the schools I spent almost half a lifetime. For this trip we tried out Angus Tapa Centrale known for their beef tapa made from American Angus beef. I tried out their Tropical Angus Beef Tapa with Garlic Rice and Egg along side a can of A&W root beer. The beef tapa was really tender and I enjoyed my meal. The service was prompt and it was worth the value. I would be happy to come back soon in the future.

If you are looking for "busog-satisfied" meal, you can’t go wrong with Angus Tapa Centrale. Our family loves their beef tapa because it is tender, juicy and yummy. It is said to be made from 100% Pure imported USDA - Certified Organic Angus Beef. Each meal comes with fried egg and garlic rice, best combined with vinegar (Pinakurat).

It has two branches: 11th Jamboree in Kamuning and at Malingap Teachers Village. The Malingap branch is located at the 2nd floor, it is small yet a pleasant place to dine. Unlike their Kamuning branch where it is open and has no aircon so prices are cheaper there.

Worth the hype! The meat is juicy and tender with a strong angus(y) flavor. Ambience is relaxing but service was a bit slow. They have lots of menu options including dessert.

Of course, it's more expensive than the typical tapsilog meal but don't expect to be stuffed-to-the-brim full despite the price tag. Serving portion is a bit diminutive. If you are fan of the meal, then try their Angus tapa at least once to experience it.

Cheers,
Mickey

Their sans rival will not leave you with a guilty feeling with its merengue-like texture, less butter but lots of cashews!

"Beeeeeeeeef is great!" - my son

The tapas and the meat dishes we tried (tropical angus tapa, original tapa, Philly cheese steak, bacon liempo) were very flavorful. Whatever marinade they use, it is yummy.

Flavor was nice. But that's just too much rice for the rice bowl.

The spicy tapa was really spicy. Ian liked it though.

They offer good vinegar to go with the tapa.

The place is small and they have tv. If you go during lunch time, they'd be watching AlDub. Am not a fan so I didn't like it. But as most people might like it, there you go.

Tried this place with my co-workers at lunch break. The place is small with just enough space. Ordered us angus beef rice bowl. I thought I was only eating rice! Very little serving for the tapa, I wasn't able to taste it at all. I was a bit disappointed. Want to try this another time, hopefully, I will have a better experience.

a friend recommended this place, so off we go to try it.

parking ✔️ (yay bec it's not on the street)

staff: fast service 128077🏼 and smiling.

food: the menu picture of original US angus tapa looked yummier, bigger serving and very inviting. inset is the real served dish. it looked pale, small serving (parang budget meal lang, now i wonder how their budget meal looks like 128527). so we ended up ordering angus tapa rice bowl together with frankfurter and siomai, since angus tapa looks bitin. the taste of both rice bowl and angus tapa served with egg 128077🏼 (saved by the taste 128522)

frankfurter is 128076🏼 for the price of 155.

siomai serving for Php35 (4pcs) maleeeiiit. 128533

haven't tried their cake and burger.

I used to live in NY and worked in Manhattan for several years. We love to dine around and we also love buffets, travel and cruise vacations. I have travelled a bit around the world with my Chef Wife (who is an alumni of a prestigious culinary school in NY). We very well know the flavor and tenderness of various kinds of beefs specially our 2 most favorites.....the ones from both the "Angus" & "Wagyu" Cattle breeds. We would also know and can usually identify if we are being served an authentic USDA "Prime" Grade quality beef or just the lower grades (such as USDA Choice or Select). It's just sad to say that most restaurants nowadays easily claim that they offer Angus Beef or are just simply using the words "Angus Beef" in their menu in order to entice their customers, increase their price and generate more sales, effectively deceiving most of them. But unfortunately, what most people don't know is that NOT all Angus Beefs are CAB (or "Certified Angus Beef") and NOT all are "Prime" Grades and worst of all, some would go as far as serving cheap low grade "US Beefs" in order to maximize their profits. Same goes with the Wagyu breed......all Kobe is Wagyu but not all Wagyu Is Kobe. So if you're looking for a good, simple, high-quality restaurant to dine in that won't ripped you off and offers the real deal, Angus Tapa Centrale is the place to be. They also import their beef direct from organic "free range" farms in USA and that's probably why they can easily make them affordable in their menu. No wonder they are always being featured by various TV Networks/Shows and popular blog sites and being sought after by well known Celebrities/Personalities as well. Their CAB (or "Certified Angus Beef") is purely legit as we can very well taste the flavor and tenderness that we always look for in a "Prime" Grade quality Angus beef. The marbling is just remarkable. And FYI, they are also the supplier of US Angus Beef Tapa of UCC Coffee Shops and that alone may also give credence to the quality of their beef. The only thing is they don't offer steaks yet which hopefully they would do so in the near future. They were recently featured in GMA's Poptalk and a popular blog site or metro guide, "When In Manila".

Our top favorites here....
***Gourmet US Organic Angus Beef Tapa Variants specially the "Hot n Spicy", "Tropical & Tropical Spicy" and of course the "Original" Flavor.
***Wagyu "Kobe" Beef Tapa from Snake River Farms.
***Angus Beef Salpicao "Prime" Grade
***Gourmet Sandwiches - Angus Philly Cheesesteak, Croissant, Bagel and Pandesal.
***Cakes - Classic and Almond Mocha Sansrival, The Dome (with nutella hazelnut mousse filling), Frozen Mango Brazo & Frozen Banofffee Brazo..
***These cakes goes well with their good coffees, lattes and special tablea dark hot chocolate.1278601278351278431278589749

Wagyu tapa (top left), Philly cheesesteak (top right), "The Dome" (bottom left) and Sans Rival (bottom right). Tapa was normal, nothing special. Philly cheesesteak was meh, no flavors exploding. The Dome is just another regular chocolate cake. Sans rival is sans rival, nothing new. Not worth the price compared to the quality for me. That's sad.

And they are here in Maginhawa foodie's haven, the branch a far cry better than the original in Kamuning with air conditioned dining and still with al fresco if you like. Specializing in angus beef tapa and now they have wagyu tapa and it's available for diners 24/7! Got me this angus croissant cheesesteak all juicy and tender in crisp warm croissant just perfectly good. They have fish too: Norwegian salmon steak, bangus belly ala pobre, boneless bangus and tinapang bangus if your not into meat.
