What a hipster vibe-café in Teacher's Village!

Such a cool place for those tea lovers who just wants to chill.

Their teas are without a doubt good quality and the Cinnamon mini doughnuts were moist and tasty.

The place is really cozy! This place is for book and tea lovers! Friends who want to hang out can enjoy while playing board games and cards. They have a wide array of tea bags from Germany. Exotic flavors. Tried their Hibiscus tea bag and was aromatic! The french pressed coffee was also good partnered with muscovado sugar. Love the place!

After a big meal me and my boyfriend was looking for some authentic hot tea! and ofcourse through the help of this app we found antiteasis, I think gerry's jeepney was originally located here :) It was a small tea shop that i think can only accomodate small groups. I was a bit dissappointed in here because the staff was not that accomodating and the board games was too old to play. we decided to go to another shop because were not satisfied in this place

Thank heavens for a tea place where there's real tea and coffee.

There's a small blackboard where the menu is written, but do not be fooled by how simple it is! They will hand you an Ipad which has the whole list of what's available, black, green, white tea, flora, fruity. The tea may come in teabags or loose leaf which is very cool because you get to use the decanter.

The teacups, pots, jars and glasses are very quirky and interesting.

If you are not in the mood for tea, you can go for the smoothies. I like the apple basil one the most. It's really refreshing.

Frown not, coffee lovers, there's also coffee served on French press which is really good and very cheap.

I love the mini donuts, both the lemon ones and cinnamon. But since they serve it fresh, they usually run out towards the end of the day. Bagels are also available.

Since the place is quite small, it does not get noisy, very favorable for reading, working or just chatting with your companions. It is very relaxing, like you can forget how long you've been there already, or what it is. There are a lot of books you can borrow, as well as interesting board games.

Love the name :) Quite apt- Antiteasis is the antithesis of a noisy, buzzing coffee shop. This place is small and cozy, and i mean c-o-z-y. Your bedroom is probably bigger.

When we entered, I immediately felt compelled to talk in a hushed voice. The place was so quiet (yet there were customers), with only the voice of Norah Jones crooning in the background. It was like being in a library, not only because of the seemingly invisible "silence please" sign but also because of the shelves of books! Heaven.

Inside, there are only four tables, 3 of which are low tables where you get to sit on floor pillows. Nice. There are more tables outside.

I was overwhelmed by the long list of tea selections so they recommended wildberry, a bestseller. This tea is more on the sweet side, very berry.

The place is perfect for introverts who don't want to be disturbed. Heheh. I just hope that the staff would be friendlier. They exuded a nonchalant aura that time. When we entered, the two ladies at the counter just blankly stared at us. And when I was asking questions, they were so poker-faced it was almost scary... The place is too warm and welcoming to have staff who seem to be the opposite. :p Other than that, the place is wonderful.

My mom and I were just looking for a coffee shop we haven't tried in our village. When we saw this place, it looked really cozy and had that coffee shop vibe to it so we gave it a try. We were both overwhelmed with their menu that was full of so many teas we've never heard before and that's when we realized why the shop's name is "Antiteasis". "Ahhh, AntiTEAsis" Haha! Nonetheless, we still tried the place since they offered French press. My mom ordered the coffee and I ordered a hot matcha. Both were really good and we had a great time drinking outside at the comforts of the chilly weather that day.

I'll come back really soon to try a lot of the teas and their donuts!!!

Now this place I love. Ask for their list of tea on the counter for a better selection. They can offer it hot or iced. They also have good bagels and good selection of books. However am a little taller so its a bit challenging sitting on the floor and squeeze myself in. They have a cute space inside but also have numbers of tables outside. Worth checking out. . and again. 128513

After a heavy meal, we went to antiteasis to cool down. We arrived there around 1pm, we entered the store and the crews were surprised to see us..it turned out that their opening hour was 1:30pm. I just went through without reading the 'closed' sign on their door haha. We then stayed outside and took pictures of their cutely designed glass wall, after a few minutes they let us in 128513.

As the store name implied, it looks like a mini library with table and cushions on the floor. Definitely got the peaceful, 'for bookworms' vibe. They also have board games for added entertainment. One complain though, the bookshelves were full of dust.

Food 11088110881108811088
Don't be fooled by their small menu board, once we approached the counter they showed us a wide variety of tea flavors on their ipad.

I had the Lebensbaum sweet chai P80
It was served in a small kettle paired with a small glass and chunks of sugar. The tea smells really good. It was sweet but not too much.

My friend had the Teekanne sweet kiss cherry and strawberry P70. It was served in a mason jar with an inscription of antiteasis at the center. I'm not a fan of strawberry but my friend convinced me to try this. It was really good and refreshing. Not your ordinary tea 128077.

We also had their mini donut, cinnamon and lemon flavor P30. The lemon flavor was sour, reminded me of the calamansi muffin from boracay 128513

For the avid fan of tea, you can go here to try some of those not-son familiar flavors in the market. Place boasts laid back interiors, with half the sitting area on the floor. Not for people with laptops as this place isn't full of big enough tables. A quick chat with a friend or reading session or board game day can be on your list when you go here. They serve cakes and other small items. It's not a coffice (office cafe) just so you know. Range price of tea, so-so. One parking space? If I will be so bold: not your usual tea place.

If you're a tea-holic and wants to try teas that are new to your taste plus you're into some board games, then this cozy place in Maginhawa suits for you!

This place could be the perfect HOHOL place for friends who wants to catch up and play board games. The ambiance is a combination of a library and a playroom since there's huge shelves full of books and games. So if you want to spend your time reading books, this place could also cater to that hobby.

The teas they offer are flavorful and carefully brewed. Actually, I am guessing it is brewed to perfection because the Teakanne Strawberry Iced tea I ordered from them is the best one I've ever drank so far. My friend ordered Peach(?) not sure but i think it was one of the bestsellers.

The staff is very nice and when we visited the place it was just opened. They are usually open at afternoons because before we had our lunch at Jeepney it wasn't open yet. Also, you could find witty quotes written on their glass mural which i had realky enjoyed reading.

I would really recommend this place to those bookworms, boardgamers and even friends who are just in for some hangout.

Loved this place!!! The chocolate chip-walnut cookie is to die for. I liked the apple basil smoothie, so healthy. Come to this place when you need to relax or to play cards and boardgames with your friends. We played "Cards Against Humanity" for about an hour. Hahaha

First things first, I promised myself to be as unbiased as I can in writing this review. But it's quite an ordeal especially since the owner is a dear friend of mine from UP and you might actually see her once you visit.

I swear this place screams of college vibes. The shelves are filled with a wide variety of books, all of which are the owners' collection. They also have a wild (not only wide) selection of tea. Some of which I haven't even heard of. They can be served hot or cold depending on your preference, though I like mine cold.

Did I mention they use those cute mason jars for the tea? Yes they do! And before I forget, you must try their ham and cheese bagel. It's so worth it!

If you're bored and just like to hang around but don't wanna tire your eyes from reading, you may also play some board games (pun intended). Or drink coffee. Whatever. They have all that.128521
