The place is so nice. The food was great. The servers are good and they know what they're doing.

We ordered Spiced Grilled Lamb Chops with Tomato Risotto and Pan Fried Visayas Sole for our Entrée. This comes with Organic Green Salad, Soup of the day (clam chowder), Dessert (Flourless Chocolate cake with Cerveza Negra Ice Cream) and Coffee or Tea.

We also ordered Pairing Juice... Green Apple Celery with Apple Cider Vinegar, Watermelon Pepper with Calamansi and Orange Banana.

Since we love chocolate, we ordered Dark Chocolate Soufflé.

Everything we ordered was delicious. A very recommended place.

Ordering one Entree will already give you a full course complete from salad, soup, sidings (carbs), dessert and coffee 128158 A bit pricey but fine dining at its best 128077🏻

Total bill was around 7k for 3 people.

Being part of events have its ups and downs. You get to meet new people and expand your network. If you’re lucky, you might be able to eat good food too if you are one of the key persons handling the event. But if you’re just someone they pulled out to help, make sure you have some snacks ready as you’re bound to starve if you don’t. However, despite bringing one kilo of Palawan Cashews, I still starved and felt my cheekbones being more prominent than that same morning.

I can’t blame management though for not allocating extra for the “volunteers” as one full course meal costs around PHP3,000 as the food was catered by Antonio’s. Yes, the fancy restaurant in Tagaytay that was awarded as one of the top 50 restaurants in Asia. And yes, Chef Antonio “Tonyboy" Escalante was there.

I was starstruck! He had this commanding yet charming presence. He was so pleasant to talk with. Throughout the preparation, you could tell that he is one busy man. He was on the phone most of the time handling his businesses in Tagaytay while overseeing the operations in the Miele showroom working kitchen.

During dinner time, mouthwatering appetizers, mains and desserts went out of the kitchen area and were served to the guests.

Since we were just standing and waiting for the event to finish, we decided to stand across the kitchen area and stare at the beautifully plated dishes and get a whiff of it. We couldn’t help drool from time to time as the fragrant dishes were just too… too… beautiful *sob*

Chef Tonyboy, the beautiful person inside and out that he is, saw us being so pitiful that he decided to give us his extra slab of wagyu steak to be shared among the seven of us. It wasn’t much but it was a great chunk of meat. It was succulent and it seemed to have been rubbed with coffee beans. I think it would make sense though as Chef Tonyboy also likes to highlight some local ingredients.

We were also served some desserts made of frozen pears with vanilla ice cream, butterscotch and chocolate ganache. At first, it tasted a bit weird but we began to appreciate this chilled dessert after a few more spoonfuls.

Chef Tonyboy, you have saved us from hunger. I think… I love you.

*A way to a woman’s heart is also through her stomach (if she is not on a diet).*

It's an excellent place to dine. The drive is worth it. Will definitely go back!

We had the house salad and the burrata which were excellent.
We had the crispy lamb and duck which was out of this world!

For dessert I recommend the soufflé and the flourless chocolate cake with cerveza ice cream.

Amazing place. Service can be better but food is impeccable!

Truly a go to place for your best moments. They make it even better with their attention to detail for your sure fire gastronomic experience.

The menu is not long so I suggest going for various meats when on a date or friends. This way you get to sample Chef's specialty in a diverse way.

My rating is as high as their prices too. It is fully justified though with the quality they present. On my visit Chef Antonio was around, and he granted us a photo opportunity with him.

Don't get intimidated by their prices because I can assure you, it's worth it! A perfect venue for celebrating a milestone and probably one of the best places to pop the question. We went here lunchtime and I was impressed at how attentive their servers were. The ambiance is cozy but I guess it's lovelier at night. Ordered Antonio's House Salad, Grilled Prime Porter House Steak and Balsamic Infused Pasta. I can't tell anything bad about the taste. Delicioso!!! They even gave us free dessert which I find the yummiest of them all! Haha! I think it's called Maracaibo Chocolate something. Ha! Nakalimutan ko na but it is super delicious. Crunchy chocolate shell and creamy chocolate ice cream in one sinful dessert. Take note, Im never a fan of chocolate-flavored anything but this one is an exemption! 128521

P.S.
They are on the steep side but if you're having an important thing to celebrate, maybe a trip to this wonderful resto wouldn't hurt that much. If you're really on a tight budget, save up for that special date na lang talaga. Prepare at least 5k for a meal for two.128522

This place is considered the best restaurant in the Philippines and I agree 100%. Unfortunately, they're not the best when it comes to steaks. House of Wagyu is still my number one. Nevertheless, the other dishes made up for it.

Oysters- this were served in it shell and topped with truffle pasta. It was heaven in my mouth.

House Salad - generous serving of fresh and crisp vegetables in a vinaigrette

Soup of the day - clear and flavorful chicken soup with vegetables

USDA Dry Aged Angus Beef - it wasn't the most tasty steak I've ever had but it was tender and the serving was huge

Duck Breast - I only got to taste this dish. It was served with a huge piece of foie gras on top that was cooked in just the right doneness. Absolutely delicious.

White chocolate soufflé - I love this dessert because of the moist center and the sweetness of the chocolate. I prefer this over their dark chocolate soufflé because it's sans the bitterness.

Poached pear - I also love this dish. The sweetness and essence of the liquor was absorbed by the pear and it made for a great dessert.

They do everything they serve wonderfully! Service is highly commendable and the place is beautiful too. Could be on the pricey side but if you can, you must. They don't disappoint.

Don't judge the steak by its messy look! DON'T! 128518128518128518

We ordered Grilled Angus Prime Ribeye Steak and everything comes in 2s: Tomato soup, Guava sorbet, side dish for the steak and dessert. All was perfect.

The steak is one of the best steaks I had. Juicy, tender, perfectly seasoned steak! I like it more with mustard sauce than steak sauce.

For the side dishes, the server recommends Tomato Risotto and Mashed potato and good thing we took his advice. I love the tomato risotto. Good match with the steak. 128077🏻128077🏻

Everything was soooooo perfect until our bill came! hahaha 128514128514128514 kidding! It is expensive but its worth it! 9995🏻

This place is like heaven. All the food that was served to us was so heavenly. Super Super Super delicious. Every combination worked so well. Until now, I can still remember how I felt during my first bite of every meal. 128076 128076128076 It is also a major plus that the attendants are very accommodating and friendly. If it is your first time, they will help you choose the best food. So don't worry if you're not familiar with the food in the menu. 128521
127795127794The ambiance of the place is very classy and has a garden feel. You can even opt for a smoking or non-smoking table.
The price is really affordable considering this is a fine dining restaurant.
Just for few reminders:
1. They will only accommodate you if you have early reservations
2. Dress code is smart casual (No slippers, shorts / beach attires)
3. If you are not very familiar of Tagaytay, this place might be hard for you to find. Hence, ask for a direction. The place is located in a secluded residential area. But just remember, your experience about food will all be worth it! 128522

Overall, this place is SUPERP! Deserves to belong in the list of Asia's Top 50 Restaurants. 128077

You don't give Antonio's less than 5 stars... You just don't...9757128170128576

Attended a good friend's wedding last night at this beautiful and romantic restaurant... Absolutely gorgeous, especially at night!

Cocktails were served at the lanai... Mood was set with fireworks in the midst of the dark sky... The food was excellent, course by course, delighting our taste buds... The service was great and the staff tried to accomodate your requests...

The long drive is more than justified... Awesome party!128522

I hear a lot of good reviews about Antonio's but I also hear that the food is expensive. 128547 So when my kabarkada decided to have her wedding reception here, I was excited! 128513

My high expectations were met! The place alone was beautiful! It's such a nice date place! The ambiance is just wow. 128525 (parinig kay Miggy T) hahaha!

The food was really really good!

We had the:
-Antonio's House Salad 127775127775127775127775
(Antonio's Organic Mesclun Salad, Bleu d'Auvergne Crumbled, Glazed Walnuts, Dried Currants & Cranberries with Raspberry Vinaigrette and drizzled with Basil Oil)
Great start for an even better meal! 10084️ I just love blue cheese and walnuts on a salad!

-Mushroom Cappuccino Soup 127775127775127775127775127775Seriously amazeballs!!!! I couldn't get enough of this!

-Guava Sorbet 127775127775127775127775
I don't like guava and sorbet but I loved this one!

-Roast Certified Prime Ribeye Steak with Herb-roasted Tomato, Cognac Goose Liver, Creamed Pink Pepper sauce and Mashed Potato 127775127775127775127775127775127775
I added an extra star from the 5 stars because this was the winner of the night. Everything was good but this was to die for! 10084️ the meat was so tender and flavorful. Everything about it was perfect! The mashed potato was creamy and light! Probably the only thing I didn't like about this dish is the herb-roasted tomato but I really can't complain.

-Mango Mascarpone with Vanilla Ice Cream 127775127775127775127775
Not to sweet! Just right 128525

I don't know when I'll be able to go back here again but I want to! Haha! I'll probably be back here for a very very special occasion lol. I'll have to save up for it first 128513

I miss the food already 128532

Saved my 800th review specifically for Antonio's. And it rightfully deserves the spotlight. It was made more special because we also celebrated our dear friends Raymond and Denise's wedding reception here. What a lovely reception and what a lovely restaurant to celebrate a key milestone in their lives.

From the impeccably good service, rustic nature-inspired romantic ambiance, to the drool Worthy food, it's surely a must visit Resto. Yes, it's pricey but you'll forget the damage to the wallet when you're eating the food. Think of it as an investment for your tummy 128514128514

Two stand out favorites - the mushroom cappuccino soup and their Rib eye. 128523128523

The soup was a rich purée of mushroom and cream with cappuccino foam for that extra kick. Add some pepper and Parmesan cheese and you'll be in soup heaven.

The famed Antonio's Roast Certified Rib Eye steak with herb-roasted tomato, cognac goose liver, creamed pink pepper sauce, and mashed potato. Nothing but awesomeness with every bite!

I'd surely be back... But I need to save big time first. Hahaha. It's true what they say, "masarap Ang minsan" wuw. 128517

I was in heaven! Our anniversary was made even more special by celebrating it at Antonio's. It was such a gastronomic delight. Such an stimulating experience for my senses. From appetizers to dessert everything was sooo good and flavorful. Steaks were soft and juicy, oozing with flavor. And I was so happy when Chef Antonio came up to everyone and approached all tables one by one. Even the simple tarragon tea was so good.... Bursting with flavor and scent. The food was definitely worth the price. Not to mention the beautiful place, serene surrounding and cool breeze.

What a good fine dining place ever!!!!! I will definitely return. Though they have a dress code (no slippers and shorts) and reservations only policy. Make sure you reserve prior to going there. Their food is good. Make sure you have enough money as it costs at an average of 1,700 per person. Buy definitely worth it. It includes the salad, soup, dessert, entree, coffee/tea.

attended a wedding here last weekend. i was in my stilettos and the pathway to the lanai from the main dining area was not easy128561128561. will not be stilettos here again.

the wedding dinner was a 5 course meal perfectly plated and served.

the grilled beef fillet was soo good! soo soft melts in your mouth and was seasoned well. cream pepper sauce complimented the beef well. it did not overpower the meat. the mashed potato was good too.

the pumpkin soup was good as well. pumpkin flavor was spot on.

in the picture was the pancetta with fish. the fish was fat and the pancetta fried right. the tomato sauce countered the fishy after taste.

salad was refreshing and the sorbet served was also good.

did not taste the dessert which was tartufo nero with grand marnier coz im on a diet. friends said it was good. i gave them my share 128561

the drinks preordered was not enough. extra basic 1L Johnny walker black label costs 4800. ohh well!

servers and the staff were really were nice! i left my slippers in the parking and i came back for it the next day. they kept it for me! yey!

will come back with the bf hopefully soon!

If you are going to Antonio's, it is a must to try their steak!

Celebrated my dad's 70th birthday here and we have fallen in loved with the place.

The dalandan juice is soo good and was so fresh! A bit disappointed with the steak. It was good but it wasn't that hot when we ate it perhaps, because of the cool weather in Tagaytay that you have to finish the steak off in 5 minutes.

Everything in this place is picture-perfect! Hard to find place but definitely worth the travel.

A typical 12 member family meal would cost P25k. But, all worth it.
