Weekend getaway with my Mom and siblings last weekend in fabulous northern private resort, Anvaya Cove, in Morong, Bataan. It's been years, but the vibe is still the same, albeit with more facilites than when I last visited.

The pics you're seeing are from Anvaya's Sportscenter, which is where we mostly hung out, when not in the house we used. This is an amazing facility-- it has its own pool which is perhaps 25m in length, maybe 3-4 lanes width. An adjacent wading area with 4 inches of water where kids can play under these 3 round large snail shell-like contraptions that fill with water and then cascade down when full every few minutes. A smaller kiddie pool, which turned out to be a Jacuzzi, is also adjacent to the pool. 128517128515128518 Check out the hillside view of Morong as backdrop of Sportscenter. Wow. Breathtaking.

Surrounding the area are the following: a covered basketball court, covered badminton court, and an airconditioned facility with a 2/F gym and a game room underneath. Inside the game room are two full sized billiards tables, a ping-pong table, an air hockey table, two basketball shoot out arcade games, several arcade games, and 3 game consoles, each with its own LED TV. I played Ping Pong and renewed my love for table tennis after over a decade of not playing. Loved it! Took me back to my childhood and college days! Played with my bro in law (his brother owned the house we stayed in), and even my wife for a few games. Niiiiice. 30 minutes for P60 or 1 hour for P100. Freaking decent rates.

And there is a clubhouse with a full menu of pasta, sandwiches, mains, soup, salad and starters. Staff friendly and generally efficient. I liked the food, too. Though not airconditioned, it was covered and half decent cooled enough with ventilation and fans. Nice couches to chill and tables to eat. Menu items are decent priced, and right serving size. The pic is cheese burger pizza, but also enjoyed Quattro Formagi pizza and their awesome sausage platter. Next day, I ordered Hungarian Sausage fettuccine which had it in cream sauce. Good flavor, thick cream (thicker than I preferred), Hungarian sausage had a good flavor though not super memorable. I liked the pricing, though. Overally the dishes were solid and clubhouse worthy. My mom ordered their clubhouse which was quite good. Loved their fries, too. Crunchy and crusty that I liked.

Cocktails were nicely priced at P195 each. They also have a variety of beer, spirits and wines from all over the world. Including Chilean legendary and one of the world's most powerful wine brands, Concha Y Toro, and its fabulous Trio Wine (mix of 3 varietals).

I didn't get to swim in the main clubhluse pool which was so full of people. That's the one beside the beach. I didn't go to this place except for mass on the 2nd day. I haven't checked out the golf range, either. Coz I don't play golf. Lol. The facilities are far from each other so you have to drive or ride Anvaya's golf carts. I'm wondering why I don't go here often enough. My bad. That will be fixed soon enough. 128522

Great place for some R & R with family. The place is clean and beautiful. Private beach, pools with nice warm water...great view. We had a swell time!
I left my phone by accident in one of their public toilets. Hours after, I called the front desk and they informed me that one of their staff found it. Long story short, i got it back, thanks to their honesty.

Nothing beats enjoying the beach with some Filipino delicacies like puto bumbong and bibingka. As a sucker for kakanin, I always buy a plate or two when I see it on the menu. This is the reason why I love Via Mare. They always have my favorite palitaw, puto bumbong and bibingka anytime.

I was delighted when I found out that Anvaya Cove offers bibingka and puto bumbong too for PHP100. I quickly ordered puto bumbong and got my order in less than 10 minutes.

It was smaller than what I'm used to but who cares?! I didn't get my puto bumbong fix last Christmas.

I took a big bite and savored it for a bit while reminiscing about how much of this purple delicacy I consume every Christmas.

It was great! It had a nice sticky texture which I loved and I liked that Anvaya was generous with coconut shavings and muscovado sugar.

It was sad though that the next bites were more of swallows as we were rushing to finish our orders before the drizzle turns into a heavy pour. ⛈

I'll look forward to this on my next visit. I hope it'll be bright and sunny then and that we get to fully enjoy the beach.

This is my HAPPY PLACE 128153i will try to keep this short 128512 the place is heaven, its exclusive for members and the biggest happiness for me is to lounge by the beach without hearing any karaoke or ladies offering massage services. Its just you the beach, the gorgeous swimming pools and the attentive staff of the resort 128513127774

The food is great, though there is room for improvement but the buffet breakfast...thats the best. Its my favorite time to load up garlic rice, tocino, adobo, beef steak Tagalog...bring out all the meat!!!! Because I know I'll be able to burn them 128516127774

We normally stay at the casitas which is around Ph7000 for 2 overnight stay, with breakfast. The food cost is normal its not so expensive but not cheap either.

If you know anyone who are members you can ask for recommendation letter and you can experience this heaven on earth in Bataan 128153enjoy!

As usual, a blissful stay for us.

As resorts go, I wouldn't consider Anvaya as extravagant, but rather simple, but well-built. Anvaya will not wow the casual passer-by, but for the returnees, it's a familiar retreat to really unwind at.

Getting to Anvaya Cove is easy. Travel time takes approximately 3-4 hours depending on the traffic and how fast you drive in NLEX and SCTEX. This is definitely one of the best summer outing I ever had. ;)

I'll definitely go back here with my family 128106

The kids stayed at home during APEC week doing tons of homework and projects so we decided to take them to Anvaya Cove for some R&R with friends.
We stayed at the Seabreeze Veranda and the unit we rented accommodated 10 pax / 2 families.
The development is somewhat similar to Punta Fuego but Anvaya's Beach and Nature Club is best in class so far from all the resorts I've been to. It has a lookout tower that gives you a panoramic view of Anvaya Cove and top view of the beach pool.
If only we had more time, I would have loved to sail in that awesome hobie cat but we alloted time to bring the kids to Ocean Adventure to watch the dolphins and sea lions.
Their sports and recreational club though fail in comparison to Pico de Loro IMO. Also at Pico you can go to the beach club , pico sands hotel and the sports and country club by foot or you can ride their shuttle service. At Anvaya you're going to have to drive or ride a car to get from one place to another. Carpooling is what we did and we just all rode in one SUV.
Entrance fee is P400 and P250 is consumable on the first day only and this is where they beat Pico.128077128077
We had lunch at Pawikan Grill on our 2nd day and the grilled liempo and beef were good and priced reasonably. On our third and last day we had lunch at Bamboo Cafe and the crispy pata and sizzling bangua was FTW!1280771280771108811088110881108811088
Played horse and 21 with the kids at the sports club. Shot some hoops at the arcade and tied the highest scorer at 319. They have xbox and wii so the kids got to play games also. The sports club has a restaurant where we had dinner, pasta and sausage were good!
One of Anvaya Cove's main attraction is their gold and country club and the view there was awesome. Maybe when I know to play golf I wil come back and play there someday. I'm still japanese as they say, pagurong gurong lol 128514 and can't seem to make the ball fly.
Overall we loved our stay at Anvaya and we will definitely go back!

A nice escape from the city. The exclusivity of this resort makes it deal for family bonding times 128515. Rooms are cozy and comfortable 128565128564. The staff are courteous and always on hand to assist guests on whatever they may need. Golf carts and vans are available to bring you to other parts of the resort. Food is good and reasonably priced 128076. Their mini shop is of course pricey and limited to swimsuits and swimming needs and lacks other basic stuff. The beach? Nevermind. With a pool like that 128070 you dont need the beach IMO. Oh but they have beach activities too like kayaking (you have to sign up) which we tried, but it's just too hot to kayak that day that after 1 round we gave up and went back to the pool.

If money is not an issue, I will go here every weekend hahaha 128540128518128077🏻.

Three years ago we had our department outing! And we decided to have it at Anvaya Resort because one of my officemate family is a member of it.. Anvaya Cove is located at Morong, Bataan

Anvaya can be compared to the very best places for a tropical vacation. Anvaya offers views, amenities, services & the best golf North of Manila. Thru the generosity of my officemate family as a member we were treated to this perfect end of a wonderfull vacation.

We just spent a day here and it was fantastic. It was clean and staff were polite. Very clean bathroom, complete with shampoo, cologne, powder, lotion plus a clean towel. The food provided was really sumptuous. A great way to end our summer here. It's not open for public though but I think you still need a sponsor who is a member... 128525

As you can see (picture upload) we had really a great vacation day!

I still remember the first time I went to the beach. It was hot and I could hardly see anything as the sun was burning my eyes and sunglasses do not help as the rays manage to squeeze in the gaps. It wasn’t exactly what I call fun but it wasn’t bad as well. I remember the fine sand against my feet and the lovely afternoon breeze. But since my family and friends are not really into going to the beach, I became a city girl. But lately, I grew fond of the beach. It started with the wonderful Coron and now with… Anvaya.

Hello, Anvaya Cove!

Okay, the weather wasn’t exactly pleasant when we arrived as it was drizzling. And since the red flag was up, it meant we could not enjoy the beach. We enjoyed the shore and pool instead.

We also fed some ducks! (And the mosquitoes had a buffet too.)

That night, we decided to have dinner at the golf club since our consumables are only applicable there and the sports club.

R and I arrived first and decided to order the following: Classic Nachos (PHP235), Chicken Wing (PHP255), Pork Sisig (PHP185), Mongo with with Lechon Kawali (PHP135), Grilled Tuna Steak (PHP275), and Chicken Tenders (PHP165).

We also had some drinks which were refreshing.

First served was the Classic Nachos and it was a great appetizer. The crunchy corn tortilla chips topped with ground beef, sour cream and cheese defined “comfort food’.

Next served was the plate of chicken wings which were spicy. It also had a bit of after taste. It’s probably from the bird’s eye pepper sauce. I munched on the side veggies and cilantro mayo dip instead.

The other dishes arrive at the same time.

I wasn’t able to take a photo of the sisig as the servers mixed it before putting it on the table. But it was the best dish that night. We even considered ordering another but realized that we already have too much food on the table. The texture was just right. It had a bit of crunch and it also had the chewy texture.

We also loved the mongo with lechon kawali. Since we were feeling cold, it sure warmed us up. The rough soup with the crunchy lechon kawali and bits of bitter gourd was delightful!

The chicken tenders were fat. Really FAT. R and I shared one *uhm* chicken tender. It was breaded nicely but the chicken was too dry. It was my least favorite dish.

I loved the Grilled Tuna Steak! It was grilled well as it was still juicy. I also loved it with grapes and caper salsa. The pilaf rice further brought out the dish’s flavor. Yummy!

Our total bill was slightly over PHP1,800 for six hungry diners. It wasn’t bad at all.

Best weekend ever!!!
anvaya cove is about 30min away from sbma but u have to have "connections" to get in aka a member who can endorse u. Entrance is just 400 bucks inlcuding all facilities, 250 of which is consumable. Their food is good and not so pricey either.
Ambiance 5/5 beach, sun, fake white sand, lavish pool perfecf 5 indeed!
facilities 5/5 they have a swimsuit dryer @ the bath house
Food 3/5 the resto had flies inside im not sure if it was because my friend ordered binagoongang lechon kawali but still gross! But taste-wise it was okay and price-wise it wasnt a steep as most restos in classy resorts
all in all the place is great for family and friends who wants a quick getway from the hustle&bustle of dear old manila...

This is the best place in Subic (Morong, Bataan). A development by Ayala Land Premiere, this is a members only resort and property. Since it's by Ayala, you could only expect the best. Facilities, pool and the food are all high standards.
Whenever we have time and decide to go to the North for a quick escape, Anvaya is always the answer. Although the sand on the beach is not the best, you could always choose to take a dip at their huge pool.
