I’ve gone to several gyms...and it’s not because I can’t commit but I just like trying out different places. One of my favs was Fitness First because of the classes and coaches/staff but because of my work sched, it didn’t make sense paying so much and not being able to go as often as I would have liked. So, I transitioned to Anytime Fitness Alabang where I pay P2k/month. I was terribly disappointed in the size (I signed up before their opening to avail of a pre-opening rate). After going there a few times and not feeling that welcomed, I stopped going and focused on my martial arts instead. Then one day while walking around Evia Vista Mall along Daang Hari, I saw an AF and decided to inquire. It’s much bigger than the Alabang and BF branches and they have more machines. They seem pretty complete and the Coaches are really friendly. They also offer different classes like Zumba, circuit, TRX and dancing. I tried the circuit class which was good.
The crowd is cool too. Most seem genuinely interested in Fitness. There are a few beef heads (the kind who feel the need to show off, be loud during their work out and throw weights everywhere) but they’re not that bad. Ive never seen it super crowded during the times I’ve been there, which is nice.
Some complain about the parking but Evia is building a parking structure and it looks like it’s almost done. However, if you just park across the street next to Petron, it’s free and it’s just a quick walk to the mall—consider it your warm up! Otherwise there’s a free Evia mall shuttle you can take.
Oooh! I forgot to mention...another great thing about AF, aside from them being 24hrs and you can go to any branch...is that they have a lot of ties up. For example, for December they had a 50% off all services at Altacienda Spa. They also have discounts in All Sports and another retail stores. They also do a lot of promos to drive membership.
So far I really like AF Evia and won’t be changing anytime soon!

This is the fifth AF branch that i have visited so far and i think i love this branch!
This branch opened last September 20 so the interior looks new. This is owned by a Chinese according to my home branch at congressional. However this is one branch that does not employ AF staff. It's quite a big branch it got a lot of treadmills. Their dumbells are of anytime fitness however i observed that their dumbbells are secondhand since the color is slightly faded.
Well, the place highly consist of mirrors that is why the place looks extra spacious. It got a gym class room as well. Their asses however are not yet posted. I thought there were less gym goers on a Thursday night however marami rin pala-- it's because marami din kasing subdivisions at daang hari area. What a marketable place!
Their equipments are of lifestyle fitness--And these i observed are quite new. They also have this machine that will compute your Body fat and mass. Their wifi is locational lang. lol. May area of effect.
What i love is their CR. There were 3 female, 3 male and 1 unisex rooms. The shower head is big. The space is bigger than my home branch as well.
Maybe because i am new to this branch, i noticed that their trainers are quite cold. Haha. But aside from that i think this would take the first place in my list now.
Update on which branch is the best:
