Went here for a friend's gig. It's a grill by morning and bar by night. I would love to try eating here for lunch! 128516

You can order from them Mang Raul's isaw. And it was soft and tasty tenga and chicken isaw. We also tried bacon with cream cheese. Liked it.

They ordered iced tea (they thought it was nestea iced tea but more of brewed one with syrup) it tasted like arnibal and I finished it - Loved it!

Foodie: Ribs went well with java rice. Generous meat serving (not too boney). Meat is tender and the sauce is likeable!128522128077

Price: Wallet-friendly for only 160 Pesos. Good job!

Service: Well, not so accommodating. It was raining hard but the crew, who was looking at us, didn't bother to help us out. No welcome greetings whatsoever. However, a crew offered us the TV remote just so we can change channels cause we were the only customer that time. Okay, let's go back to the foodie.128517

Watched my friends perform for their Guns N' Roses night.

They've got this whole indian theme going on, and the most expensive food cost PHP200. They also accept credit cards. Food was ok, nothing memorable. Has wi-fi and the password's written on their wall.

My only beef is that they don't have any exhaust because the smoke of the food and from the smokers is just too much. I can't breathe.

For a burger joint, this place was fine. One of the better burgers I've had in the Philippines. Everything was pretty tasty, but there were limited options for my wife, who doesn't eat much meat. She did enjoy the fish and sides, but the sides were pretty small.

What we ordered:

Hellfire Liempo (PhP 160)
This usually comes with rice, but since I wasn't in the mood for rice and my boyfriend said that their Mashed Potato (which I learned later on is called Indian Mash) is super good, I decided to have the rice switched into mash. That cost me an extra PhP 23. Well worth it though! So..the Liempo was HUGE. I have never been served a Liempo that big. It had the usual coating of barbeque sauce, BUT it was spicy as well! I just loved the spice! For me, it was just perfect. They roasted the tomato perfectly as well! For PhP 160, SUPER WORTH IT. I was so full after that I wasn't able to finish my iced tea!

Tomahawk BBQ Pork Ribs (PhP 220)
I only had a bite or two of this because I wanted to stay loyal to my Liempo. The meat was so tender and it easily came off the bone. The sauce was perfectly sweet! This also comes with corn and rice, but my boyfriend wanted the Indian Mash as well.

Indian mash (PhP 38 for single order / PhP 23 for add on)
This was unlike any other mashed potato that I've tasted. I'm guessing this had carrots as well? Whatever it was made of, it was amazing.

Uncle Jack's Coleslaw (PhP 38)
Your usual coleslaw, but packed with flavor!:)

Southern blend Iced tea (PhP 60)
For 800 mL (at least that's what the jar indicated), you get your money's worth. This isn't the commercial Iced Tea. This actually tasted like tea with a bit of sugar on ice. I loved it! Such a big jar, too!

Sulit!

Twas' past 1pm. Me and my sister really want to go in bf and have a lunch. So, we decided to eat in Apache. Its not so big but it is very clean and cozy. What attracts me the most are the dream catcher all over the place. Hah! I must say that its very tasty and delicious. The patty is well done and so the grilled liempo. We decided to order some potato chips but they said that they dont have enough potatos. So the waiter decided to combine the potato chips and french fries but hey its still for 50php only! Hah! I so love to go back here in Apache with my gang! :)

So I went to BF area for dinner just to check out the different restaurants. We had a hard time picking because of so many choices. We ended up here, Apache, indian themed restaurant.

We ordered the Indianero burger and Apache burger. The burgers were really tasty but the meat, i guess it needs improvement. The patty was big and really full (Indianero) but it was dry. I like my burgers juicy. Haha

Service wasn't that fast and to think it was only us in the restaurant. But like my friend told me, sometimes its good to know that you have to wait because you know that they are really cooking it and not just reheating it or whatever. But I think they still need to improve the service, seemed like the server was new and didnt know what he was doing. Just saying. :)

But overall, the food was just okay. There is always room for improvement.

Finally tried this place after several attempts! Most of the time, this was closed. 128541 (We learned from the servers that they're undermanned & have late night events, thus no one can work in the usual hours. Too bad.)

Anyway, we got the resto all to our ourselves considering it was already for late lunch. 128513 It had the indian vibe from its name "Apache" and with dreamcatchers hanging around. 128525

We got the Tomahawk BBQ Pork Ribs, Indianero Burger and Indian Bear Chops, plus Rootbeer Float (since I'm craving for one!)

The ribs was good but it lacked the BBQ sauce that I had to ask for extra. Meat was okay but I still prefer Rub Ribs.

For the Bear Chops (porkchops), it was a turn-off for me. The meat was hard to chew and slightly burnt. And since we were the only customers, we could hear the ruckus in the kitchen too - they are indeed undermanned, I must say. We even reached to the point to ask, "Kuya, okay lang po kayo dyan?" He he. 128517

The Indianero Burger was just enough to try it out but I'm looking for something more.

Rootbeer float was nothing special but the serving was in a huge beer mug.. so not bad! 127866

This was worth a try - thus 3 stars. 128518

A |looloo sticker on the door, this place must be good!

Our first choice was not yet open so we sought help from |looloo and the closest recommendation was Apache.

Cute place. You have to hand it to them for making you feel like an indian brave as you take your place on one of their western style tables. The walls are adorned with different colored indian head dresses and painted with larger than life pictures of indian chiefs.

We asked for the best seller and the answer was, The Indianero! Intriguing at the very least. It's 1/3 pound of pure meaty goodness, 2 slices of hickory smoked bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, mustard and mayo on a sesame bun.

Taste matches looks; slightly spicy, tender and juicy! The meat on meat combination of hickory bacon on pure beef adds moisture and flavor.

Worthy of a looloo sticker, Kimosabe!

It was one rainy night and... blah blah blah. Ok. Before anything else, I observe the place. It's not really a big place. Had around 6-7 tables if I remember correctly. It was clean, well lit, had a bit of ambience for it's size. They had this old-west styled barrel drum displayed. I wanted to take it home. A lot of food to choose from. So the first to arrive was their Not-So-Libre-Nachos. What I noticed first was the salsa. Oh hey, they make their own salsa! :D Tortilla chips were crispy, as they should be. Topped with ground beef, beans, and creamy cheddar cheese sauce. It was good. It lasted for 5 minutes. Next up was their freshly cut chips (I forgot the exact name). They make it themselves too, as the name says so. And they make their own garlic sauce as well. After a while, the chili poppers arrived. I had a bite. It wasn't that spicy but it was good. When you take a bite, it doesn't break and make a mess. And after a while, the main dishes arrived. The Indianero burger, the Hellfire Liempo, and the Buffalo Wings. Ok, so about their burgers, they make their own patties as well. About the indianero, it has a fulfilling size of a patty, quite thick, and just the way I wanted it. Had lettuce, mozzarella cheese, bacon, and other toppings that complimented the taste. It tasted classy, not cheap, cuz it's a... not cheap as well. And it was good. The Hellfire Liempo tasted awesome. I don't usually like liempo but this was an exception. The freaking sauce was epic! It was spicy and I love spicy! It made my night. If every liempo would taste like this, everyone will probably be a liempo eater! The best liempo I've tasted in my life (yet). It was that epic, not great, not good. Epic. Their Buffalo wings. They serve three wings per order. The size of the wings are larger than average buffalo wings. If the benchmark for averagely good buffalo wings would be TGIF wings, this would clearly be better. Their sauce was good as well. Has this spicy, sweet, and somewhat tangy taste that really goes well with chicken. Because a lot of restaurants already serve buffalo wings, this will probably just be great. Not epic, but simply not just good though. If one of their dishes would represent the joint, it's be the Hellfire Liempo. A must try before you die (oooh, it rhymes!) variation of a filipino dish. Definitely coming back again. For the taste, and for the price.
